I bought these shorts for my husband who is very trim and doesn’t like regular or relaxed shorts. He also likes the 11 inch inseam instead of the longer lengths that hit below the knees. The fabric is substantial and looks neat even after wearing all day. We are hoping to eventually find these in navy color, which doesn’t seem to exist at the moment.

My legs are skinny enough to be sued for non-support, so I’m always looking for a pair of shorts that doesn’t make my legs look like two pencils hanging from parachutes. I was concerned when I ordered slim fit for my troll-like body, but amazingly, they were a perfect fit. They fall just about an inch above the middle of the kneecap, are extremely comfortable, and are not “baggy” like most shorts. Will be buying more of a different color.

Awesome shorts that are durable and comfortable for my very picky teenager! These wash up great with no wrinkling. Great value and don’t wear thru. Only shorts my son will wear. He’s 6’5” and the length fits his long legs great!

My wife got sick of me looking like a gangster in the other Dickies shorts I own.I always thought I looked more like a pre-teen wearing ’em, but either way, my chances of getting laid while wearing the previous shorts were abysmal. Then I found these shorts.I ordered these shorts, along with a Louis Raphael Men’s Slim Fit shortAnd my wife is pleased with both. The Dickies are tougher material, but the Louis Raphel’s come in a variety of colors. Both are form fitting and wife-approved.

First (at least in my case) you can believe the manufacturer about sizing. I wear size 32 and size 32 of these shorts fit. At first I believed some of the reviews and ordered a 33, which fit but were bigger than I needed (not surprisingly since they were 33 and I wear 32). So my advice is to buy whatever size you wear normally. Second, the instructions say “hand wash only.” Fat chance. The only thing I hand wash is my hands. I put these through the washing machine along with everything else and they came out just fine. I could do without the silly little crease in the legs but maybe that will go away with time. As to the weird pricing–I bought two pairs of tan for $24.95 and then tried to order two pairs of grey and found they were $32 and change. Same pants, different color. Go figure. I found a better price for the grey ones on the Dickies website. Sorry, Amazon.

These are exactly the shorts I was looking for.. not too long, not too short, and most importantly not too baggy. I like the aesthetic of Dickie’s, but the long and baggy oversized fit of most of their clothes is just awful. These are perfect if you are taller and leaner and not looking for any kind of “hood” look. I love the cel pocket, which even fits an Iphone max size no problem. I have bought Dickie’s before, so I knew to order a waist size up… I am usually between 32 and 33, but for Dickie’s I need a 34. I am 6’ 2” and weigh about 195, with legs that are somewhere between fit and muscular. The so-called “slim fit” here is what I would call normal versus the immature and unflattering style of regular Dickie’s. I bought one pair to try and promptly bought two more after washing and drying. I really couldn’t be happier, and the low price is just an incidental benefit.

I don’t normally write reviews, nor do I often buy clothes online without having at least tried that particular style/cut on in store first, but looking for something different, I went ahead and ordered a pair of these to try out. As I have matured (in my early 30s now), I wanted something different than the typical baggy Dickies found in stores. I used to wear all the baggy clothes growing up but am not into that anymore and my shorts were the last remaining items from that period. I have been having a hard time finding something that I like, and while I still like the general style of Dickies for a clean and simple look, I wanted something more fitting. These are them! The length, the cut, they are exactly what I was looking for. I am about 5’8, 155 lbs, and a size 32 fits perfectly at my waist, they come down approximately mid knee, and I don’t feel like my legs are lost in them anymore. I am definitely ordering more.

If you love Dickies, these are great shorts. I wear a 36″ waist in most jeans, but I bought these in 38″ and they fit perfectly. They have a great modern fit which will separate you from the dorky “dad shorts” wearers with their 8 cargo pockets and little hangly dangly bits and huge unfitted leg holes. These are nicely tapered so you don’t look like you skipped leg day with your little chicken legs sticking out. They fall right above my kneecap while standing, just like in the photo. The material is also nicely rugged, as you probably know, so you could probably fight a bear and not get all torn up. I am not saying you should challenge a bear – Always respect wildlife. The cell phone pocket is very handy and puts my phone right where my hand falls to make it easily accessible but keeps it out of the way. I do notice that if you’re upside down a lot, the phone will easily slip out. So obviously, not recommended for Australians.

Bought these for daily work wear in a bike shop with lots of grease, and to commute to work in on my bike. I’m a slim cut guy and a lot of shorts are baggy on me.These fit perfect. (Size 32)I’m 5’11”, 155-160, 31/32 waist.Fit is perfect with no belt needed, length ends just above the knee, and the crotch isn’t so long that it gets caught on everything. Will definitely buy more of these.

So much that I had to buy more to replace his old golf shorts. They have a nice clean line compared to bulkier cargo shorts, but still have plenty of pocket space.
