I’ve received this cell phone holder set for 1 week and used it for my 2 cars. It has worked awesome and I love it in all aspects.First, the set came with a dashboard holder and an air vent holder, which saved my money. I put the dashboard holder in my small sedan and the air vent holder in my SUV since the SUV has stronger AC power. Two birds one stone!Second, the suction cup sucks the windshields very tight, even on bumpy road. It supported my iphone 8 plus with no problem.The only concern I have is: since the cup is very sticky, I worried if the gel will get melt on the dashboard like my previous holder. I will have to find it out next summer 🙁 At least for now I’m very satisfied with it.

3 years ago, I bought a vanmass phone holder that was my favorite and now I bought another car and wanted the same exact one. Unfortunately, it was discontinued so I had to take a risk to find another one so I got this. Happy to say, it’s just as good and not as pricy as the alternatives they offer. Works with a case and it has never fell once even during abrupt stops, bumps and potholes.

If you told one customer service of a car mount company that every time you finish eating Mexican food, your car mount will be fall off, so you want a refund, what should the customers service do? VANMASS gave us the right answer, they communicate with me over 10 emails, finially solved the issue.I have to say that the moment I got VANMASS I was very satisfied. The package is very simple and elegent. You can tell it is not the same thing as the $5 car mount on the market. The product is an artwork, the cutting is neat, all parts are complete, and the installation is very easy. At first, there was no issue at all, then something strange happened.There are two Mexican restaurants not far from my company, I picked up my lunch there sometimes. The strange thing is that every time I come back from Serrano’s, my car mount will fall off, and then I need to clean the suction cup and re-attach them to the dashboard. But I didn’t encounter this problem when I came out of another Mexican restaurant. I put the car in the same parking lot, it is so frustrating.I contacted VANMASS for warranty, I think VANMASS is a little wronged though. This kind of thing keeps happening, it is really frustrating. I did not not expect that, the customer service of VANMASS, reply me immediately, and did not think it was a spoof.After she got the details, she asked a question about how long I usually stay in Serrano’s. Then I understood the problem. Serrano’s business is better than the other restaurant in near street. It took me about one hour to finish my lunch at Serrano’s instead half-hour at others.Customer service told me that when the temperature outside the car is 100 ℉， after half an hour, the temperature inside the car is about 130℉, after one hour, 150℉. The car mount fall out because of the temperature growth rapidly.From then on, I would insert the car mount into the the vent or park the car in the shade during the hot weathers, no matter which Mexican restaurant I went to, I never encountered this problem again, lolI am very grateful to the customer service of VANMASS for helping me solve the problem. I truly feel that VANMASS is professional and responsible, the reply is timely and not perfunctory. In short, VANMASS is a brand I CAN TRUST! Best shopping experience on Amazon.

This review is for the VANMASS Universal Car Phone Mount. I purchased a one for myself and this one is for a friend that I roll with a lot. This mount has the vent or suction cup option and I got this because my friend’s car has a touch screen navigation / control system and I wanted to give them the option in case the vent mount blocked their screen. It didn’t and works extremely well! They are using an iPhone XS and it holds it in place securely with no issues. They also have the option of using the suction cup, if preferred, but they went with the vent mount for now. The release button for this mount is on the back side, but the release is nice and slow, rather than some other ones where it shoots out and could cause the phone to fall/pop out. Works great, they like it, and definitely recommend!

My husband and I bought these for our cars. I already had a phone mount in my car that I liked, but when I switched to a plus-sized phone, it barely fit. We are using these with iPhone XS Max in a thin bumper case with a Popsocket on the back and it holds the phone snugly. We are very happy with these!UPDATE 11/24/18: We are now using these mounts with Loopy cases and the phone is still very secure. We still just slide the phone into the holder while holding the loop on the back of the case so it flattens out a bit.UPDATE 10/23/21: Still using the phone mounts 3 years later. We now have the latest version which includes a vent mount option (see 4th photo). My husband has a max size phone (first 2 photos) and I have a smaller one. We both have Loopy cases and the phones stay in the mount by just flattening the loop. The release button on the new version is much better, too!

I ordered item based on the flexibility of mounting either using suction cup or mounting on air vent which was my choice. When I mounted on vent of our 2015 GMC Terrain, it was not stable as it wobbled even though mount had different thickness settings. I received a follow-up from Vanmass customer support reminding me that the unit carried a 36 month warranty and if I had any concerns, to let them know.I replied stating my issue of not being stable. I then received another message stating that they were going to send a new type vent clip which I received in two days. TOTALLY was the answer to my concern of eliminating wobble and not having to worry about phone falling while driving. Great customer service with follow up and a solution to my problem. For this reason I gave a 5 star rating.

The car mount is an exceptional and necessary car accessory for your cell phone. The quality of this car mount is beyond amazing. All parts of the mount are made of very fine And high quality material. The structure of the mount is extremely sturdy, the dash sticky pad is very strong and sticky but also still easily removable. The value And quality for this car mount surpassed my expectations! It’s very important for me due to the fact I drive Uber sometimes! It’s way better than any other mounts I’ve experienced. The ease of use for the mount is great as well for anyone(very user friendly).It is super easy to mount and dismount on your car dashboard. I love to separate it and use the part that you can connect to your AC as shown above in the picture. Even more, the multiple parts can be adjusted to fit your car and where you would like to angle it. Also, the mount is easily adjustable to fit your comfort level! More stick then suction but I pulled and repositioned several times to get it where I liked it while driving. It is attached to a textured dash. Needs to be a flat surface but not necessarily a smooth surface. One edge was pulling up when I attached it to a curved part of the dash. Takes a lot of effort to pull it loose to reposition it. Just below the lever on the rubber part is a small tab to grab hold of to peel loose from the mounting surface. Slow steady pressure seemed to work the best.

Great mount so far. Easy to install and the suction cup seems to be sticking very well. I have an iPhone XS and it cuffs it very well. I like that the arm extends further if needed and that I can raise the height.
