  1. Susan

I bought this product because my child has inverse psoriasis. She needed some type of diaper rash cream with zinc. It was hard to find one. When I found this cream and saw the price I was extremely happy. When I saw the mixed reviews it made me confused. I didn’t know what to do but this seemed to be exactly what the doctor told me buy. (The actual one the doctor told us about is no longer available).I’m glad went with my motherly intuition and bought this A+D Diaper Rash Cream. It keeps wettness off my child and it doesn’t bother her skin. Believe me when I tell you that this child has extremely sensitive skin. And because of that I did skin test it prior to applying to the affected area. This is a great product for my child and I signed up for the subscription to be delivered every month. Now as to the item expiration date. I don’t see one but I do see this TN002N8. I have no idea if that’s an expiration date. If someone knows how to read that please share. Same number is on the box.As for the unsealed tube. Only the cap is on it. There is no cover over the opening. The box isn’t sealed either and is easy to open.As for the squeeze look. It looks like it traveled in high altitude. That’s my guess. It’s up to every individual to decide for themself if it’s worth the try. I tried it and it’s working extremely well.

I’m a guy in his 50’s. I’d been ordering this cream for my invalid Mom and decided to try a squeeze bottle myself. Helps in those summer chafing spots guys who exercise a lot in gym tights are prone too ( now ladies….calm yourselves! ). No issues with the seal someone mentioned. I found it to be as a nice, thick consitency, low fragrance if any product for babies and jocks alike! Value compared to other similar i compared to for my Mom at Tar–get.

  3. Purkle

Not as thick and smelly as Destin! Super easy to spread and use on baby’s bottom! I have also noticed that the rash is always almost gone the next day! This is my go to diaper cream now. No smell and super gentle on my baby!

  4. F. Goodman

I used to use this on my daughter when she was a baby and it was like a miracle when she would have a diaper rash at the end of the week from being in daycare. Recently I experienced some significant discomfort after a wicked bout of diarrhea. This cream IS magical and provided relief from the rash immediately and after about 3 days of application.

I’ve never been a fan of A&D to others its great. I believe its the vasaline feel that I dont care for. I dont find that it heals the way zinc oxide does. Three adult kids, 5 grandchildren, custody of 1, and title 20 licensed daycare provider. I have dealt wth all kinds of diaper rash and diaper rash products. This is the BEST you can purchase other than DR. SMiths diaper spray (that also contains zink oxide) Another one I cant find locally It’s also cheaper through amazon

I realize this product is listed to be used in cases of diaper rash. I’m in my 60’s but don’t tgat problem yet. My PCP did suggest using this for dry skin. I had used every product available in local stores, nothing relieved the dryness. I even used the A&D ointment without success. Alas, this works! This cream goes on easily & smoothly and you can still feel it working hours later. My skin is softer and healthier than I can remember. Thanks to my doctor for suggesting and to Amazon for making this available!

We love this cream! We’ve use babyganics, desitin regular & Max strength, boudreaxs buttpaste Max strength, and probably another kind or so, and this is the best so far.Boudreaxs was all that worked on my daughters extreme rashes but after a few months it stopped working. Our doctor kept telling us the wipes were causing an allergic reaction, so we even stopped using them and only rinsed her butt in the sink.We STILL ended up in the ER due to what they diagnosed as an “acid burn” because our nystatin, mupirocin, and diaper creams weren’t resolving the issue. The ER doctor actually specifically recommended this to us (he said only the white tube!), and prescribed us a burn cream. We never even had to pick up the burn cream because this made such a difference after even a day or two!It smells great, is cooling, comes off easily but applies wonderfully smooth (not like yucky desitin), and soothes the skin.We swear by this cream now. And it’s less than half the price of boudreaxs!

Great skin care product and I love their price they’ve always had good quality and AnD zinc oxide ointment.Rubbed in well it disappears into the skin I don’t know what the sunscreen rating is on zinc oxide but the numbers must be very high. Zinc oxide and deal pointman is not just for babies! It’s a great ointment for healing us like little scratches abrasions a difficult cuticles it’s a wonderful all around dumb ointment that can’t really hurt you unless you choose to eat it. So I suppose keep it out of children’s hands LOL thrust

  9. Happy D.D.

I don’t know what happened but the box was open, the tube of ointment was all crumpled up. There is no seal on the ointment. I just assumed that it’s ok to use. I didn’t return it, but I won’t order it again.

Update, Jan 30 2021,I’m still buying this cream, still comes without a seal nor expiration date despite changing the packaging. My girl, (now almost 3 yr old) hasn’t grown a tail, horns or claws yet, so stop being paranoid you so called humans. For another comparison I went to Costco and decided to buy a jar of zinc oxide that’s sold there on the pharmacy, generic perhaps, that’s the same active ingredient on the blue A+D. Didn’t came with expiration date, didn’t came with any type of seal either, just use and be done, and that’s what I’ve been doing. So STOP THE PARANOIA.Original review :When I 1st bought this product my wife and I thought, like all these people here that it came opened because of no seal under the cap and because it came like it has been squeezed like you can see in other people review pictures, yet the box was perfectly closed. I’ve bought this product from my local supermarket, Walmart, walgreens and even my neighbor pharmacy and ALL OF THEM CAME EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. There’s even one review that first STATES it’s fake and then says that he /she THINKS it’s fake because the printing is upside down. That’s how it comes from the factory, get used to it. I’ve been using it daily for 18 months straight after a bad experience with Desitin on our baby girl and NOTHING has happened to her. Oh yeah, now that I think of it, something has actually happened, she was a cute soft butt that NEVER has had diaper rash on! So buy this product, use it, and be thankful /happy it exists. I never leave reviews, but it really pisses me off that every time I come to buy more there are new reviews from paranoid people saying that it came open, doesn’t have an expiration date, I won’t trust this to my child blah blah blah (Hotel Transylvania pun intended). Paranoid people like this damage a rating on items without educating themselves 1st, thus affecting people that review shop. The other tube (yellowish, brownish, your choice) comes sealed because when exposed to the ambient air (to oxygen specifically) it begins to degrade, reason exactly why it has an expiration date while the blue does not. Remember the 2 are different in terms of active ingredients and cream composition. As for the tube appearing like its been squezzed before well, don’t know that one. Quality control perhaps? So paranoid people use something else that comes sealed for their peace of mind. To everyone else, buy it, it’s better than desitin and less sticky, more efficient.Review and rant over, good day!
