I am 6’3” 215 pounds and I bought the 1XL 2XL in Black with gray trim. It fits well with extra room if you were bigger around. I love how long it is going down to just above my ankles. Now this robe is the thickest warmest robe I’ve ever had. And I own 4 robes of different makes. I just walked out front to get the paper in 25 degree weather and it was fine.It runs a bit large if anything but it’s a robe, large is good. I’m not sure if different colors fit differently because they look different in the pictures on Amazon. It is definitely worth the cost and would be a great gift. I love it.

This is the warmest, softest, most comfortable robe in recent memory… and I work from home, a skinny guy in a drafty house, so a robe is daily attire for me — I’ve owned more than a dozen just in the past 10 years. The robe is not heavy, just a single layer of fabric that’s very plush on both sides — and though the stiching looks good, I’ve only had the robe a few weeks. (I’ll update this review if it doesn’t hold up.)The pictures are accurate, but to be clear: The belt is a separate piece, and there’s a second pair of belt loops 2″ below the first pair. The thick hood is a rare treat — with that up and my hands tucked into the opposite sleeves, I can follow the dog around the block in my PJ’s in freezing weather, warmer than if I’d gotten dressed and put on my coat, gloves, etc. Indoors, the hood also lets this full-length robe double as a super-soft sleeping bag — Ive found myself napping in it all sorts of places! The one drawback is that this is a FULL length robe. I’m 5’8″ and the “small/medium” size hang about 6 inches from the floor — if I don’t pick up the front of the robe, I have to take stairs very slowly and carefully to avoid tripping on it.

My wife has worn a robe forever, it seems like, and I personally never saw the attraction, until having to adjust my schedule at home after work to accommodate coursework mandated by my employer, which kept me up a lot later than I wanted to be, as I report to work pretty early in the morning. I needed to break the pattern. Why work all the way through the evening, and then shower last, making bedtime that much later, when I could shower earlier? But then what? Change into casual clothes, and double my load of laundry, leading to an opportunity cost that I just didn’t want to pay on the weekend, with more laundry than you could shake a stick at to wash?So my wife suggested getting a robe. I’m 51, and it seemed a little late to start wearing one, but she broke down the advantages for me. I knuckled under, but told her it had to be a perfect fit, and where was I going to find that, as I am slightly taller than average, broad-shouldered, and unfortunately, more well-nourished at the moment than I wish to be? Robes at the local clothing stores either had the length, but fit tightly around the shoulders, fit nicely around the shoulders, but weren’t long enough to hit the basic quotient of modesty, or were just too snug for a Buddhic girth that has just sadly moved beyond its once-embryonic stage. Where was I going to find one? She suggested Amazon. This robe fit all of my needs. It’s long enough for a slightly tall frame, wide enough to fit comfortably along my shoulders, and pretty forgiving of a midsection that’s been fueled by what has lately become an indiscriminate intake of protein and carbohydrates ingested at what’s just clearly and sadly the totally wrong ratio. It’s also soft, warm, holds body heat without promoting an external sense of cloying humidity, and comes with a nifty little hood for evenings that sometimes grow too nippy for my follicularly-challenged scalp and forehead, with the pleasing aesthetic effect of making me look like I’m ready to conduct a Saturday evening mass in some tucked-away little semi-rural parish during the height of the Middle Ages, a modern-day Brother Cadfael, only without his investigative portfolio. It’s easy to launder, and comes in a natty shade of neon black, with a sturdy gray modesty tie. As soon as I dry off from showering this goes on, and I want to whale on my forehead for not making the transition to this robe much sooner in my life then I did.Sure, the price is a little steep, but you’re buying it for comfort and durability, a robe that’s in it for the long haul and makes no bones about the sheer handsomeness it displays aside from its utility value. Get yourself one, and you’ll at least feel pretty, if not witty or wise.

First, I’m 6’5″ and about 290 lbs; not a medium. I purchased the white robe with the blue/maroon plaid pattern. After having read a few reviews, I had some concerns about the fabric pulling out on washing. So when I received it, I immediately threw it in the wash. After drying, I inspected it pretty closely, no fabric pull-outs. Just a softer robe. I suspect that certain colors of this robe may have pull-out issues, but the white/blue/maroon model does not.As for fit, I ordered the 3x/4x. I have a 36″ inseam and 36″ sleeve length. The robe wraps 1-1/2 times around my body and hangs to mid-shin. (The model shows it hanging to his ankles…yeah right.) The sleeves are just long enough to say they fit (A couple of extra inches so I could roll them would have been a bonus, but everyone these days seeks to conserve fabric, so they cut sleeves short. Most of my ‘long sleeve’ shirts barely make it to my wrist and have to be rolled. Funny that 100 years ago, shirt makers always added extra fabric at the cuffs. Too-short sleeves are not a step forward, fashion industry…) One thing this robe has is one of the best hoods of any garment I own. It actually fits and stays where it’s supposed to stay. The robe is slightly heavy in the hand, but feels great on. It’s very comfy. It also features modesty ties to keep things closed up when retrieving the Sunday paper during a wind storm.Overall, I’m very pleased with this robe. It will replace an old waffle knit robe and a heavy terry robe. Wearing it around the house, my wife says I look like ‘Christmas morning’. Not exactly sure what that means, but I think it’s a good thing.Highly recommended.

Saying I’m a big guy is an understatement. I’m 6’6″ and 330lbs. Even after reading reviews I was very skeptical about the fit and if it did how good it would be. It fits me great and it’s very well made. I’m very surprised as I usually have to pay more given the extra material for this size especially compared to my wife’s I bought at the same time for the same price. She loves hers to by the way and is very much smaller than me. So, if you’re a big guy buy with confidence and if not you’ll still love the fit and solid quality you’ll get here.

My hubby loves his new robe. He is 6ft 210 lbs And wears a xl-xxl, I ordered the size xl and it is a perfect fit, the bottom portion of the robe reaches his ankle. The hood feature is a awesome selling feature, the hood covers the whole head allowing my hubby to nap in between his favorite TV shows or keeping our 3 tiny teacup morkies warm. The sleeves reach perfectly. It is so rich and plush I wish they sold them for women as well!!! It is the perfect robe for the man in your life. Absolutely love this purchase.

This robe is awesome! Super soft. Love the hood. It is about an inch longer than I would like. It lays on the top of my foot instead of at the ankle. I am 5’6″ and I got the large/xlarge the sleeves and other areas fit well. Just me being short. Ill have it hemmed. Again, I absolutely love this robe.

I love this robe. I first read the reviews which was really helpful for me to get the size and fit I was looking for. I am 6’2″ and 185 lbs., I wanted a hooded, long, somewhat plush soft robe to throw on after showers, to throw on to take the dog out, or just lounge around house on pajama Sundays. I bought the XXL and it fits me like the model picture, the length is perfect hitting me around the lower shin line. The sleeves hit me just short of my wrist and the wrap is more than enough for my frame. I have already washed it several times and its holding up well, no signs of any rogue threads just hanging around. The color is true to the picture and didn’t bleed even on first wash. This robe is very plush and keeps me very warm, I tend to run a bit hotter than most and didn’t mind the extra heat, easy fix.. and my wife doesn’t seem to mind me flashing her in an effort to control the heat. Hope this helps, I would buy again and recommend this robe to a friend.

These fleece robes (this is my third one — actually my sixth) are the whipped cream of fabrics. I can’t say one bad word about them. And how could my third one be my sixth one? I lost all of my robes — actually my entire wardrobe — in the Santa Rosa fires in October last year. One of the first few things I ordered after I had a new address was a robe. Having this robe on just kind of makes everything seem a little better. A soft place to land.

When I first put this on, I couldn’t stop laughing!! This is huge! I’m 6’3″ and 44 waist. I bought the 3-4xxxl because a reviewer said it would be a “live in” robe..they are right. The robe touches my toes… my hands in the sleeves and my head in the hood almost disappear. The fabric is soft and cuddly. I’ve only had it a day..slept in it last night..great! I’ve told my friends “if you don’t hear from me for a few days, come into my house and find the brown lump. Poke it…if it moves say Hi, if it doesn’t.. call the morgue”
