I purchased this cable because of Anker’s reputation and because this cable looks fairly heavy duty and of better quality than Apple’s own cable, which always look qnd feel cheap and for which they always charge a premium.I purchased this cable in May 2020. Well, not knowing for a few months, this cable had an issue until I was made aware of this thru the some Apple product support group.I was only able to charge my iPad Pro using only one side if the Lightning connector.I though that the Lightning connector end could be used on either side, not thinking this through, I thought that maybe Anker designed their cable to just use one side of the connector,,which just sounds dumb, because in the end, because I, usually know better, but found out later tbat the Apple proprietary Lightning connection/male connection IS a two-sided connection. So, this was a defective cable from right out of the box, but was never sure!I called the Anker support number qnd ONLY had to wait a very short time for customer support.I talked to a customer support employee, named Cody, and she was great! Her customer support on this issue was AWESOME!After getting some info from me about this cable, Cody arrange to have a new one shipped to me, WITHOUT HAVING TO RETURN THE DEFECTIVE ONE, I not only got my new cable in a less than a week after the support phone call, Anker sent me a new 30W dual adapter that I had also purchased at the same time I purchased the charging cable. This was a TOTALY, UNEXPECTED, but welcome surprise!I think they sent me a new charging adapter just in case the adapter may have been defective, as well!So far the cable and adapter are both working as expected, out of the box!So, Thank You Cody and BIG THANK YOU to Anker!

This is by far the best 6ft iphone 12 cable I’ve used. I haven’t tried the Apple wire yet because I didn’t want to pay $35, but it works just as well as the 3ft free Apple one I have. What makes me appreciate this cable even more is that I tried the Amazon Basic nylon braided 6ft cable when I first got my iphone 12 and it was such a disappointment. I went with this choice at first because I had the USB-B to lightning cable for my old iphone 10. This old cable works great, hasn’t broken yet. I still have it as a back up wire whenever I don’t have my USB-C cube on hand. So because of this, I gave the Amazon Basic USB-C to lightning cable a try because i’m more familiar with the brand and it was slightly cheaper. but it kept disconnecting as I was charging my phone while still plugged in! It was so strange because usually when I have problems with wires, it’s after wear and tear but this was new, also nylon braided. It took a toll on my battery life for how disruptive each charge was. I eventually decided to return it and bought this Anker one next. I’ve been using it for a few months now and am really digging it. It has not disappointed me yet and USB-C charges way faster than USB-B.

The Apple USB-C to Lightning 6 foot cable is $35.00, this one is $16. You do the math.I own both cables and use them both. The main difference between the two is that the Anker version is thicker. The wire is thicker, and the end is thicker (which can prevent plugging in to some devices). They both offer the same charging power, which is dependent on what you are plugging this cable into. If I had to choose, the Anker version wins because of the thicker construction of the cord.*** NOTE ***Before you start buying multiples of this cable for your Apple devices, consider waiting until the last four months of 2019. There are rumors that Apple may transition some or all of their new mobile products to USB-C charging only (whose cables are much cheaper), and transition out Lightning. This cable is a great value compared to the official Apple version. Recommended.

I’m using it with my iPad pro12.9(2018) usb C charger. Charges faster than my other iPad 10.5 charger. I already have the 3ft version which works great. I needed the longer one. The cable seems very strong. Also, although not in stock , I managed to get it in about 4 days , including the weekend. Compare to the 5 watts chargers that comes with the iPhone XS , I can’t tell you how much faster , because I’ve never used it but expect zero to 50% in half hour with the 18 watts USB C charger.

Update: My eyesite is bad! I needed my eyeglasses updated. The bad cord was an Amazon basics! Not an Anker cord! But still puzzled why my daughter got an empty box? She did receive the charger on the second order. Why???? Oh no all the times I’ve bought Apple iPhone cords the break immediately! So I was so impressed with all my Anker products and have recommended them for everyone. I have several Kindles and I try to buy only Anker cords and chargers for my phone and Kindles. I don’t know what’s happening. I tried to do a chat on customer service but the robot told me there were 14 people ahead of me. No way my time is valuable. Also I got a.wonderful charger from them and reordered it for my daughter out of state and she got an empty box! Quality Control needs to fix this because Amazon want her to go.return the empty box so I can get my refund!! This is not right. Now I reordered it again hoping she will actually get a charger! That’s how much I love their products. Please Anker fix this.

This has been my best charger cable experience, yet. This Anker charger cable paired with my Anker Lightning IQ 3 Nano Power Port (also available on Amazon) have proven to provide excellent rapid charging that has not diminished over time! After 7 months of heavy use, a tiny crack in the outer rubber developed as can be seen in photo. I called the Anker Direct customer service number. They sent a replacement immediately free of charge, covered under their 18 month warranty. Impressive! The agent even said it was ok to keep using the cord until the replacement arrived, so no down time. That’s great!(Side note: When I buy non-OEM cords at stores, regardless of brand they last me a few month tops. Most die in a month.)Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again/more.

I normally don’t write reviews, but since there isn’t that many on this product at the time of me writing this I will write one to show my appreciation.I have an iPhone X that I’ve used for about a year and a half. I always wanted to actually fast charge my device since I’ve gotten it, but figured using the iPad 10W charging cube was fast enough for me, as I didn’t want to spend the $80 it cost to buy the genuine Apple fast charging setup (the usb c cube, and the usb c to lighting cable).I looked for awhile on here, filitering our the knock off branded USB C to Lighting Cables, and found this Anker one for $15.A 6ft, fast charging capable, durable, and lifetime warranty cord for $15?! I bought it instantly and was happy I could find such a good deal.Upon opening, i was excited to see how thick this cord was. I’ve gone through several genuine Apple cords, only to have the cord under the Lighting Port connector fray after a couple months of use. I suspect that the thinness of the Genuine Apple cords is the culprit, and this Anker cord does not seem that it’ll have that issue at all. On top of seeming really durable, the 6ft cord was a convience I never knew I wanted (they also included a cable tie made Velcro)This cable charges my iPhone X from 5%-55% in a matter of only 30 minutes, with a full charge only taking an additional 40 minutes to get to 100%.While writing this review, I plugged my phone in with this cable at 20%. 15 minutes later, my phone is now at 50%.For reference, the power cube I am using is a Anker PowerPort Speed PD 30.

I LOVE Anker products! I have had nothing but great experience with all of their products. When outfitting our equipment at work for emergencies I always pick Anker cables because of the quality and consistency in the products. This was my first purchase of any USB-C to Lightning using an Anker PowerPort 2 PD charging block. The charge time on an IPhone 8+ is screaming fast! From a 2% charge to 50% took 33 minutes! Fantastic product from a reliable company! I highly recommend it!!*with the right charging block…

I recently purchased this cable directly from Anker and it seems like its working well, but I was just a little unhappy to see my new product already open…Now I am questioning its authenticity, or if it’s actually new? Definitely do not want a counterfeit or a defective product frying my batteries…[UPDATE 7/16/19]: About a few days after reporting this, I got a new cable from Anker with no questions asked. The new cable is crisp and working like a charm. Great customer service.

First off I never write reviews from products I purchased over a year ago but my after my recent experience I felt it was necessary. I’ve owned this cable for a little over a year and it recently completely stopped working. I was very surprised that it had failed since there was no visible signs of damage and it had been working perfect since day one, it just stopped charging. I figured it only had a 1 year warranty but to my surprise it has a lifetime guarantee. I filled out the simple form on Ankers website, provided the required info and I had a replacement cable in a couple of days. This was by far the best warranty experience I have every had. For this reason alone I will continue to buy products from Anker, as a matter of fact I recently bought some noise cancelling headphones from Anker and couldn’t be happier with them either.
