Its unique formula of protective ingredients was so effective it was soon commercialized and made available to consumers. Clinically tested and uniquely formulated, the Aquaphor brand is highly recommended by dermatologists and pediatricians.

What causes diaper rash?

The main cause of diaper rash is prolonged exposure to wetness in the diaper. Exposure to urine / feces, heat, friction, introduction of new foods, medicine / illness or teething, can all cause diaper rash.

What are the signs of diaper rash?

Signs of diaper rash are pinkness / redness and small bumps in the diaper area that can be warm to the touch. If the rash gets bad, it can spread to the stomach or thighs. Diaper rash can also be seen as dryness, flaking or peeling skin or chafing.

What if my baby gets diaper rash?

If your baby does get a diaper rash flare up, use Aquaphor Baby Diaper Rash Cream at the first sign of redness.

Why does Zinc Oxide work to treat diaper rash?

Zinc Oxide forms a protective barrier between the skin and the diaper and soothes irritated skin, allowing it to heal naturally. Zinc Oxide is a mineral that helps block wetness, friction and feces from touching the skin that is already compromised

How can I prevent diaper rash?

Using an ointment like Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment to create a layer between the skin and wetness from sweat, urine and feces can help protect your baby’s skin from diaper rash. The ointment can be used with every diaper change.

After noting how well this product worked on my grandson’s diaper rash I decided to give it a try on the chafing I get under my breasts and groin area especially in the hot summer months. Fantastic results. The “3 in 1” seems to be impossible to find in the retail stores in my area, luckily I found it on Amazon.

My 92 year old mother became incontinent. She developed quite serious sores on her behind that even a home healthcare nurse with prescription ointment could not heal. For two years we tried everything to treat the sores and nothing helped.Sores in that area can lead to an infection or even cellulitis, so we needed a solution. Now she is fine. This Aquaphor Baby Diaper Rash Cream healed her! It is quite simply the best. It is not drying like other zinc diaper creams, but more healing than normal Aquaphor. She also switched to Always diapers and pads, which turn the liquid into a gel inside the diaper, and are therefore less wet on the skin. She adds an additional pad inside the pull-up diaper. And we installed a bidet attachment to her toilet. She is now completely healed and she is able to take care of herself, with no need for nurses or help from family members.Fabulous!

I’ve been caring for my mother who is temporarily bedfast. Of course, that means she needs to be changed frequently. We tried a number of products to protect her skin – skin barrier, zinc cream, aloe vera gel… She can’t use ointments because she’s allergic, so we needed a cream. Finally, we found Aquaphor Baby Diaper Rash Cream. This stuff is great. It spreads easily and it protects her skin. She had a red place in the crease of her leg that was getting raw. Within a day of using this cream, it was gone. I won’t use anything else from now on. And the price is terrific on here. It’s actually much cheaper here than I’ve found anywhere local, so this is where I’ll be getting my Aquaphor cream.

This is the only diaper rash cream I will use on my baby. She kept getting SEVERE diaper rash, skin peeling and blistering, from the acidity in her stool from breast milk. She was severely allergic and it was causing her pain to even touch her poor bottom. She screamed every time we changed her diaper and picked her up or touched her. It was horrible. This is the only cream that healed it and within 24hrs of using this every time we changed her it was gone. Will never use anything else!

This has been our favorite diaper cream for our kids! After almost 2 years, we have yet to find anything that clears up diaper rash and redness faster. The Aquaphor diaper rash cream works overnight on our toddler. Our newborn has been constantly pooping, and the diaper rash cream clears up his little red bum in a day. The thickness of the cream is also perfect. It isn’t runny like some other creams can be and spreads easily without using too much. There’s no scent to it either! I highly recommend using this diaper rash cream.

  6. Ana

This is by far my favorite diaper cream. I use this regularly and my child doesn’t get diaper rashes or any sort of irritation. It’s the easiest to clean and to put on and I’ve tried many… A&D, Weleda Calendula Cream, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, & Burts Bees to name just a few. It is completely odorless, it’s not greasy or tacky like the others. It is formulated without parabens or chemicals you shouldn’t apply to skin, especially your child’s sensitive areas. It’s smooth and is easily applied. I would highly recommend it. The quality and price was good through amazon!

I love how easy this is to spread. Provides the same amount of protection for my baby’s bottom if not better than the leading brand. My baby was getting rashes around his thighs because of the diaper garter so I had to put a different kind of healing ointment to target those specific areas while using the leading brand butt paste on his bottom. When we switched to this brand, I didn’t have to use a different cream to target those areas. I’m definitely switching over to Aquaphor.

  8. Kim

My mom was a firm proponent of Mustela and I very much love their cleansing gel and bath time products, but I really liked the Aquaphor diaper rash cream the best. When COVID started, and I joined the club of over hand washers, my skin suffered so much. My dermatologist recommended an Aquaphor branded hand cream, so it was without hesitation that I decided to try this out when my Mustela cream ran out.We love it! It’s smooth, the smell is not overpowering, the tube is the perfect size for a permanent fixture or on the go.

We signed up for the subscribe and save on these and got 6 bottles. After 2 months, we just finished the first bottle! Works great at preventing diaper rash. We’ve actually been lax in using at times, but as soon as you see signs of a rash, we apply and baby is good to go!It doesn’t bother him at all and a little dab goes a long way. Sometimes I feel like applying this makes baby go to the bathroom as well, which is nice if I feel he’s constipated. Definitely our go to and highly recommended!

Both our kids had terrible diaper rash due to pretty bad diarrhea after birth. We tried everything (Dr. B’s, desitin, Vaseline). Nothing seemed to help until they grew out of it after a few months. We even tried calmoseptine, which worked to a point but was hard to spread and clean off and has a scent to it.Then I discovered this with my second child. It’s a lifesaver. Easy to apply, cleans off very well which is a plus for the 3AM diaper changes. Stays in place. Actually helps heal the rash/exposed raw areas instead of just being a barrier. Diaper rash healed within a week and we use this religiously now, especially when either of my young ones gets a diarrhea illness.
