My newborn has had really horrible cradle cap. My pediatrician said to just leave it alone and in 9 months or so it’ll go away on its own. So I read a lot online about different remedies. I decided to try this. It’s very thick like Vaseline. I applied it all over his head after a bath and put a night cap on him. The next morning I washed it all out of his hair and I was blown away by the difference. This was one use. Just one.

My sweet boy has been battling eczema since he was just two months old. While we’ve never completely been rid of it, aquaphor has been such a help to us. It’s so moisturizing and you can see such immense relief on my sons face when I apply it. It’s also great to use at bed time. As you all know if you have a toddler, taming a hyped up 18 month old can be the stuff of nightmares. Well, not with this. He lays down on his towel after bath time and gets coated with this stuff and he stays STILL the entire time. It really helps to soothe and calm his skin at night. It is also a great baby shower happy that I buy for all my expecting mama friends. Love this stuff!

Do NOT confuse this with Aquaphor’s Diaper Rash cream. That stuff is a joke and only has 15% zinc oxide (compared to desitin’s 40%). Aquaphor Baby Advanced Therapy is wonderful for the prevention of diaper rash but also helps heal diaper rash quickly. I’m so happy it has lanolin in it. I wish I’d known about this with our first baby instead of finding out about it with baby #3!

This ointment is similar to petroleum jelly. In fact, I believe that petroleum jelly is it’s #1 ingredient. I like this because my baby has been using this ointment since she was a newborn. She’s tried other diaper rash creams/ointments but this one definitely works wonders. This thing works instantly to cure diaper rashes for my baby. I would say within 24 hours and no more than 48 hours. This also prevents diaper rashes. I could say that she’s only had a handful of diaper rashes. No more than 5 and she’s almost 2. Most of the time, we don’t get to change her diaper fast enough and so she gets a diaper rash. But I could only imagine if we didn’t have that protective barrier between her private parts and her excrements. I love the ointment type because it’s easy to spread and it’s an easy clean up. Creams aren’t really my thing because it’s so messy and it leaves a white residue. Don’t know if the residue cleans up over time because I never used it long enough to see if it would. The creams usually made my baby’s diaper rash worst. This ointment is my GO TO though. It’s sensitive on her private areas and hasn’t had any adverse affects either. Sensitive, yet functional.

Being new parents, we received probably 5 tubes of Desitin for our baby. We also got a tiny sampler of Aquaphor. The first I heard of Aquaphor was from my aunt, who told me it worked great for diaper rash as well as other things. It takes several diaper changes with adding Desitin each time to clear our baby’s diaper rash. Aquaphor often works after one. My baby also will often cry and pull up her legs when we put Desitin on, but Aquaphor doesn’t seem to bother her. It seems more soothing, and there’s no comparison with how quickly it works. It goes on clear, which I also appreciate. We have several tubes of Desitin left, but our tiny Aquaphor was running out, and I bought this huge tube of Aquaphor and stowed away my Desitin.I also chose the tube rather than the tub because it’s much easier for me to grab, squeeze, and flip the lid back on (can be done almost with one hand) rather than trying to quiet a flipping and flopping one year old while ALSO unscrewing and rescrewing a tub.

This stuff is great for baby’s eczema! We found that it’s great for other uses, too, such as rough feet/heels, little scratches from baby’s nails, etc… Must keep up use, though, even a day without it and baby’s skin is not as soft/smooth. You only need a little to go a long way. It feels greasy at first, but soaks in and becomes very soft after 30-45 mins…?Funny though, I bought it thinking it was going to be like a lotion, but it’s definitely more of an ointment (as it clearly says in title and on tube 🤣). It’s got the consistency of Neosporin and/or Vaseline.

This is our go-to diaper cream. I use it anywhere we need a moisture barrier on baby’s skin. My baby tends to get redness in the crease at the top of baby’s thigh where it meets the hip, and this cream is perfect to use in that spot. The 7 Oz bottle is a little large, so I would recommend the 3 Oz size for a diaper bag.

This worked GREAT to help clear up some pretty bad diaper rash my son had! A great months later, we realized the skin in some of his chubby baby fat folds (LOL) was drying out, and was in need of some intense moisturization! A little in this once a day, and his skin started to improve within just a few days! I’m very pleased with how well this product works on a wide variety of skin issues and will definitely keep in on hand!

My son has cradle cap on his head and since I got a tiny sample of this ointment I applied it after bathing him. Next day the area got noticeably smaller so I ordered on on amazon. Applied it every night after bathing him and just left it next day until bath him again. Just shampooed and rinsed off well. On Day 3 it’s complete gone. Wow! I have no idea what’s happening but as you can see in the picture those scalps just come off during daytime.
