Our story

How we got our start?

Boogie Wipes were created in 2007 by two moms who knew there had to be a better way to wipe red, raw noses. They moistened a tissue with saline drops, which helped break down dried, stuck-on boogers and soothe runny, gunky noses.

What makes our product unique?

From our line-up of natural saline products that help gently clean and dissolve boogers and snot, to our antibacterial wipes and soothing diaper rash cream that you can spray — we keep the tiniest bodies and booties covered with great products that you and your baby will love.

Why we love what we do?

These seem completely unnecessary until your child is in the throes of a horrible cold. My toddler was miserable, unable to nap or sleep at night, appetite gone, with the worst cold of his poor little life when I broke down and bought a single pack of these.I won’t say they magically cured his cold, but they provided much relief and did a great job dissolving his crusties without the pain and chafing of less gentle wipes. He liked the soft feel so much, I’d leave one in his bed with him and he’d occasionally wipe his own nose!I now keep backup packs of these stocked at home in case a cold strikes. They are expensive, and as another reviewer has stated they seem large for the purpose. So I often cut a new wipe in half and shove the unused half back in, or if I’m being lazy I fold it after each use until it’s as thick as a phone book and the size of a nickel.

I am a disabled woman with a number of skin problems. I have tried every kind of wipe available in brick and mortar stores for use anywhere on my body, and have been failing for the last couple of years to find a wet wipe I didn’t have nasty reactions to. So I started trying online options. These are the ones. They’re better than just water: the saline dissolves things you don’t want sitting on your skin and does some actual cleaning, the herbal oils (which you can’t smell unless you have an even more sensitive nose than I do and that’s rare but not impossible) are cleansing and hydrating and promote healing of injured skin. I use these for anything you might use any kind of wet wipe for, and they’re good for all of it. Highly recommend.

I love these things! I thought at first it was a convenience baby item that I would get by without – NOPE! This not only is great for the boogies and crusty dried nasal drip but also for overall clean up. I wipe my babies face with these each night and then change him and apply lotion and his face does not have any issues. I notice a difference in his skin texture if I skip a few nights – he gets bumps and just rougher around the checks. He drools a lot so that helps prevent the redness that may come with it. I do a hand and feet wipe down as well and that gives me a peace of mind knowing he isn’t chomping in dirty feet for days. I do with the sheets where smaller sometimes – if I just have 1 boogie to get I feel it is a bit wasteful but I do it anyways. I haven’t tried the scented kind as I don’t feel the extra stuff to make it smell different is necessary. I’m cleaning his face not prepping him for prom. I haven’t noticed any sour or bad smell from them to be a concern anyways.

I never thought I’d be the mother who spend a gazillion dollars every month on snot wipes for my kid … but I am. These things are the best boogie-removers I’ve ever seen. Like, the GOAT of boogie removers. Worth every.single.penny. Even when my kid does the wiggle, squirm, pull-his-head-away dance when I try to use them. I keep a pack in every room. Cold season is upon us to stock up! Buy in bulk!

My cat has a perpetual several-years-long sinus infection despite multiple visits to the vet and different treatment options, which means… I am often chasing her around to wipe stringy white snot from her tiny little wet nose. She hated it. She was starting to hate me for wiping her nose, but the goop had to come off after being sneezed out or she couldn’t breathe. I expressed my concerns about how sensitive her little nose is to the vet, and Boogie Wipes was suggested. The Boogie Wipes are 1000% better! One wipe grabs more goop and gentle sweeps it away than a half-dozen tissues. One swipe and the little wet nose is clear! She still doesn’t like having her nose wiped, but at least she doesn’t fight the Boogie Wipes. She tolerates them. She gets a clean nose and I get away without being left bloody because she is no longer clawing my wrist to avoid a nose cleaning. Good kitty! Good wipes! So much better! Thank goodness for these little miracle nose wipes! She still sneezes goop when her infection is acting up, but it’s no longer the dreaded moment of wiping misery that it used to be. Saving my sanity because I love that cat, and I’ll wipe her nose until the end of time if I have to. Best kitty ever. Best boogie wipes ever.

While my son thinks that these violate several provisions of The Geneva Convention against Torture, we, as dictators, are happy with their utility. They do exactly what they are designed to do, remove boogies, and ones that dry out (due to toddler sabotage), can be used as ear plugs to muffle the cries of toddlers as you, cruelly yet gently, remove the boogers the toddler was so deeply and emotionally connected to.

As everyone knows, kids don’t come knowing how to blow their nose. When my kids have runny noses, it’s basically like two snot fountains that require constant cleanup. They also are not very cooperative about having their noses wiped every 30 seconds, but these do make it a bit easier and don’t leave their little noses bright red from constant tissue friction. Travel packs fit nicely in the diaper bag, the car and anywhere else you may need to stash them.

Boogie Wipes:Intro:After six winters with kids I have come to the conclusion that these are “magic winter wipes.” I buy these in bulk during the fall/winter as they are relatively reasonably priced tissues that literally instantly catch all the snot and goop without having to re-wipe baby/kid face over and over to clean. These wipes along with the seemingly disgusting Nose-Freda are MUST haves for winters (or really anytime) with kiddos.Use:I love these wipes. Jus remove from package (reseal package back up so they stay wet) and wipe face. The snot is attracted to the wipe and stays on the wipe (instead of smearing all over baby’s face to get off). I find that one wipe is often enough for even the snottiest of faces. The wipe is wet/moist so it doesn’t irritate the face like standard tissues. This isn’t a “wet wipe” it has saline to help moisturiZe the face while being wiped.Size:7”x7.9” (see photo in relation to standard 8.2”x8.4” Kleenex brand tissue)Durability:These don’t tend to get a hole in them if you push your finger through (or attempt, see photo). These are very similar to baby wipes nowadays, as they have become much more durable.Scent:This is a pleasant unscented product. The green/purple package scent is fine, but for sensitivity purposes we only buy unscented. Both scents seem to work just as well.Use on Sensitive Skin:The other scents are fine but my last baby is very sensitive to everything so we use the unscented ones now. They don’t have a funky smell (many unscented products have a smell that’s not always good) and baby has had no rash/reactions to using these wipes on his very sensitive face.Wetness:The wipes stay wet as long as you don’t fully remove the tape closure and always close the flap. If they do get dry I don’t toss, I merely wet them with water (just a little) and they work like magic again.Overall:I will continue to buy these for as long as my children need assistance wiping their noses. Don’t hesitate to buy these wipes, they are basically magic snot attractors that make wiping wiggly-snotty faces a breeze.***Thank you for taking the time to read my review. 9. Hello from CA

Are these expensive and kind of unnecessary? Yes. Are they totally worth it though? Yes. After my 9 mo old had a cold for over a week I tried a sample of these and really liked them (they come in grape scented) so I bought the fragrance free ones since it seems silly to have your baby smell like grapes. They are gentle and seem to do the trick. They are also super easy to grab one at a time. It could have been my baby was getting over her cold but I used boogie wipes all day and she actually slept through the night vs the last two weeks. Only con is I wish they were smaller in size. Oh, and every time I use one my husband says “that’s 10 cents!”

You might think these are overpriced for their purpose, until your baby is sick, and all you want to do is make them feel better (or at least not worse)… and then they are SO worth it. They are legitimately soft and moist. They don’t quite do the same thing as a Frida might for getting boogers out but they help break down the dry snot around their nose and alleviate some of the stuffing. At the very least, they don’t irritate their delicate little noses at a moment when any discomfort feels overwhelming. We have a triple pack in our arsenal for the future now!
