I had purchased this when my son was a baby, but got it out, again, when I wanted a way to keep him from running off from the table at a restaurant. He is a tall, almost four year old. I tried other booster seats, then remembered that I had this one and just removed the tray and used it flat on the seat. It is awesome! I would be careful that they don’t tip over the dining chair, but that is true of any type of seat like this. I use mine flat on the bottom as my son is tall enough to reach the table. It folds super flat so I can easily bring it to restaurants with us. Better than other boosters, in my opinion! It is a bit tricky to fold and unfold, especially if you are using the tray, but, otherwise, it is great!

I have a set of these for my twins that I keep in my car all the time- two of them, folded, fit in one reusable shopping bag! They are SO useful for visiting friends and relatives! They’ve even saved us a few times when restaurants didn’t have high chairs! We recently flew to visit family across the country and I bought two new ones and had them shipped to our destination- it was the cheapest option to have high chairs for them, and they were so easy to bring back and forth from the hotel to our relatives’ house! They’re pretty easy to clean and setting them up/folding them only takes a minute or two once you’re used to it. You definitely need to attach them to a chair, if you tried to have them stand alone on the ground they’d be too easy to tip over. My only complaint is that the tray is a little small- it’s too easy for my toddlers to knock food off the sides and if we leave their sippy cups on the tray it doesn’t leave much room for their food- but of course the small tray is what makes it so portable so it’s worth dealing with- and you could also easily leave it off and just use these as boosters at the table. Overall I DEFINITELY recommend them- they’re so much easier and seem way sturdier than the type that clips to the table- and they fold down flatter as well!

I purchased this Chicco to replace one of the Summer Infant Deluxe Folding Booster Seats that recently broke, and my experience with this seat by comparison is that I LOVE this one so much more. We initially purchased the folding boosters to use when we travel to grandparents houses or on vacations and but also ended up using them at home as our regular high chairs too since they save space by being attached to an existing chair at the table.Pros:- SO easy to clean! This seat doesn’t have and little nooks and crannies for food to get stuck in (MUCH easier than the Summer Infant seat), so a simple wipe down and this thing is clean. Many times the SI seat required being detached from the seat and hosed down. When I did that (probably not as often as I should), I was disgusted at all the food that was hidden in hard-to-see and reach spots.-easy to fold up! With the click of a button, the legs are folded and the seat folds down. It gets quite compact. You could easily take it to a relative’s house, a restaurant or on vacation.- 4 height adjustments. It can be used with th legs completely folded underneath or with the legs in one of three positions to make the seat higher.-clips onto any chair easily. (I have also used a portable chair that attached to tables and hated it. It never worked with any of the tables we needed to attach it with.) This booster clips quickly, easily and effortlessly to any chair, which is important if you are traveling with it and have a squirmy toddler waiting to sit.Cons:-the seat is not quite as deep as the Summer Infant seat, so if you have a baby that is just learning to sit up unassisted, this seat isn’t going to provide a lot of extra support in holding baby up. Not an issue once baby can sit well unassisted.- the tray is kind of hard to clip when you first get it. It does seem to get easier though! But I had to stop clipping the tray in when the baby isn’t sitting in it since it was tricky to get unlatched with one hand to put her in.- a bit heavier than the Summer Infant seat (but also it seems a lot more heavy duty, so that’s probably a good thing!)Overall, since this is so easy to clean, which is something I deal with multiple times a day, I am very happy with this chair! Would recommend to friends!

We are in the middle of a military move from California to Hawaii and we needed something that our little one could sit in and eat in our home because the movers took everything weeks ahead of time… We also needed something that while we’re staying in the hotel for 1 to 3 months that our little one has somewhere she could eat because I’m not sure will be walking everywhere and touching everything with hands full of food… It is definitely sturdy, but like others have mentioned it is hard to take the tray off but once you use it a few times that you get the hang of it. She’s really really tall but she is 25 pounds and she’s two years old… She could definitely use this and maybe for another year the only thing that I would change about it is honestly the straps… I wish that the straps would’ve been gray instead of white because we all know kids are definitely messy eaters… Mine isn’t super messy but even at that I know my husband isn’t gonna take the time to clean it thoroughly like I would and so they end up getting stained and looking nasty…ours haven’t made it that far we’ve only had it for a few weeks but we absolutely love it and we’re so happy that we can travel with it

Really worth getting it for restaurants. We leave in car and use it when we are out and about. Have used it a dozen times and really don’t have anything bad to say about it so far. My child is safely seated next to me at the table and involved with the family at the table. Note: do not think it will work in a booth seat at a restaurant since you can not fasten chair for safety but I have not been in this situation yet. My child is 30 lbs for reference. Essay to fold and clean. Fits easily in stroller and light. Sturdy build but I have ALWAYS fastened to a chair. I have no comments on tray as I have not used that portion. Would NOT recommend as a stand alone floor seat. Will try to update if I find any issues

People complain about the tray size and the “plastic” appearance etc…here I am shaking my head… Read the name of this highchair. Let me write it here > Chicco Pocket Snack PORTABLE Booster Seat. Again, PORTABLE booster seat. If you want a fancy shmancy high chair go get a Stokke Tripp Trapp. I have one for our home and it’s phenomenal. It’s also $350+ depending on what add ons you want. Can’t travel with it though. If you want a simple, travel friendly booster seat/highchair with 3 different heights and a small tray (yes, it’s small making this travel friendly) that’s SAFE and RELIABLE when you’re far from home, this is the one. Don’t let the negative reviews impact your purchase. I’m glad I didn’t.

I really like this compact and handy little seat. It lives at Grandmas house and was invaluable. The tray is stiff but after a day we got the hang of it. Super easy to keep clean and folds up to carry.

I have a home daycare and this is, by far, the best booster seat I have ever purchased. The fact that it’s adjustable height makes it even more appealing for the variety of children that I feed. My older ones just need a little boost and the majority of seats are too tall for them. I was able to take the high chairs out of the kitchen because even my smallest are able to use these chairs. Love them!

My grandson just turned 3 & I was tired of walking around the full size high chair. I read what felt like 1,000,000 reviews on toddler booster/table seats & there was always that 1 review. Finally just picked one & ordered. Very happy with this purchase. It’s strong & sturdy. The size works (it’s portable ~ not full size). Easy to fold/unfold, attach/detach. Height is adjustable ~ just be sure to adjust height before attaching to chair. Very important ~ my grandson loves it! I do recommend this seat.

This is a great solution for on-the-go picnics or day trips where you’ll have to feed baby with the uncertainty on if there will be a highchair at your destination. However, I would not consider this an “easy to travel” with solution if needing to fly. It’s more suited for car travel in my opinion. Very easy to wipe down, however there are crevices where crumbs and food can get stuck but I usually clean throughout a meal so it’s never been a major issue for us but the white straps (not sure who’s idea that was to do) are a little annoying if not cleaned up right away. The tray is an awkward rectangle and not many of my baby’s suction plates can fit properly but I did find that Bamboo Bamboo & Avanchy suction bowls/plates worked really well on it! It is surprisingly sturdy and easy to use and serves its purpose for us as a day trip high chair! Would recommend for someone also looking to utilize it as such too.
