LOVE my jacket! I just got it so I haven’t washed it yet. The fit is perfect for me.I am 5’3”; 172 pounds; and have an ample chest (size 38-40 G) so I had to order an xxl to accommodate my bust size. A smaller chested person would need to size down. The color is very nice – not too pink; not loud at all.I love the hood as my last jacket didn’t have one.Overall it’s a well-made product; good quality and very nice look to it; a classy but still casual look and feel.

I bought this jacket because I was traveling internationally from a cold climate to a hot climate and needed a lightweight jacket that would provide good coverage. It absolutely needed to be lightweight because it needed to fit into my carry-on backpack and be easy to carry around in the country with me when I needed it. That jacket was exactly that. The jacket is very lightweight and also folds into one of the pockets. After your unfold it from the pocket, it will be wrinkled. It was just stuffed into a small space after all. But before long most of the wrinkles come right back out and the jacket looks fine again. The jacket being able to fold into the pocket is also very handy for transporting it in bag or backpack. Also the sleeves have velcro straps that make the end of the sleeves adjustable if you have smaller wrist or just want tighter coverage on your wrist. The sleeves were long enough for me which is always a plus. I am 5’7 and have longer arms so sometimes that can be a hassle. The pockets are pretty large and have zipper which was great for me in the airport during the time when I always needed to have my passport out but didn’t always want to have it in my hands. Travelers, y’all know what I’m talking about .My only complaint is that the hood was a bit small to me. I wish it had a few more inches of coverage for my head but it’s definitely manageable. I didn’t really use it too much except on the plane when I wanted to sleep anyway and honestly it was good enough for that. When I returned back to my colder climate, it was raining and the jacket was great for that too! It was fine for the light rain we had here. I stayed dry and thats usually the goal. I’m not sure how it will do in heavier rain, but honestly, if you need a raincoat, buy a raincoat right?Overall, I would definitely recommend the jacket.

Beware of counterfeit products from other Amazon sellers. Only buy from the actual brand, Columbia, on amazon because I oringinally purchased from them on amazon with a size medium. I’m 5’8 and 195lbs and the medium fit but my arms were too long and the shoulders were tight so I exchanged for a large. I didn’t realize it was with a different seller and the jacket was counterfeit and the quality was poor. I will post pics so you can see the difference (fake jacket is labeled). Make sure you buy from Columbia to avoid fake jackets! I love this jacket now that I got the correct size and real product. It packed light for my Costa Rica trip and was helpful in the mountains and waterfalls.

I thought I would write a quick review for size reference since so many seem to think this jacket runs small. Normally I am 5’8″ and about 145lbs with an athletic build and I think a medium would be perfect and a large if I wanted to wear bulky clothing under it. However, I am currently 6 months pregnant and needed a rain jacket for this fall/winter to keep up with my toddler who likes to play outside in the rain. I ended up ordering a XL because of all the reviews saying how small this jacket runs and its huge! Even at 6 months pregnant! Ill probably keep it because it cinches at the bottom and in the sleeves… but I will probably still be able to zip this thing when I am 9 months pregnant and wearing lots of clothes under it!

I’m 5’2 170. Im a C cup and this fit just right around my chest. Little loose around my belly and I tightened the pull string around the bottom but that part was a little loose as well. I probably could fit in a medium but it would be snug around the chest so I think large was a good way to go. This is my second Columbia rain jacket. I just love them. It’s very light weight. Good summer rain jacket.

I am so pleasantly surprised by this jacket. I have been searching, to no avail, for a rain jacket that I like. This jacket is light with an inner mesh lining. The mesh lining keeps you comfortable by stopping the jacket from sticking to you like so many other rain jackets, while also keeping it much cooler than other similar jackets I have tried. So many other jackets feel so ‘stuffy’ and hot to me, but something about this jacket makes it so I keep comfortable. There is velcro around the wrists to tighten them, and drawstrings on the hood and waist which help keep me dry! The pockets are huge and I haven’t had any issue with anything getting wet in them so far. I LOVE that it packs into the hand pocket. It makes it super portable and easy to toss in my pack for day hikes, or keep in my car for emergencies. Given the other reviews, I expected it to run much smaller than it did. For me, it ran almost true to size so I didn’t have an issue with sizing. The only thing I would add to make this jacket better are ventilation zippers in the arm pits. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

This is my second time purchasing this raincoat. My first one lasted about a year and a half, until the zipper stopped working. I’m not sure why, they are YKK zippers and those are known for their quality.Regardless, the rest of the jacket made it worth repurchasing. It never lost its rain proofing, it has kept me bone dry on plenty of fishing trips in nasty weather. I love the way it fits, it’s not baggy but I can easily fit a sweater under. I ordered a medium, which was admittedly a size too small when I weighed 180lbs. Now I am 160lbs, a size 8-10 dress, medium shirt, and it fits perfectly. I do have a smaller chest and there’s not much extra room. You may need to size up if you have a very large bust. The jacket rolls up nice and small, perfect for travel. Lastly, it doesn’t feel like a rain coat, its surprisingly breathable and comfortable to wear in warm weather. Overall, excellent jacket, the matching pants and fantastic as well.

I browsed through the reviews to decide what size jacket to get, then I found a reviewer with the same height and similar weight like me posted a photo of themselves in a medium. So I got myself a medium in black.I’m 5’2″, 102lbs, and 34B. I bought a medium to go along with the pair of Colombia’s Storm Surge rain pants (x-small) for when the rain comes in Southern California. I enjoy how roomy and light it is, and I can wear several layers underneath when the weather demands it. When it rains, the water rolls straight off of it and keeps me dry.The sleeves have adjustable Velcro cuffs, and it goes pass just the tip of my fingers. The mesh-lined jacket itself almost covers my entire butt, but my rain pants can take care of the rest. The storm hood and waist can be easily adjusted with the elastic cords found there. I often wear a cap whenever I go out, and the hood covers it except for the very edge of the bill/visor, so I often find it damp/wet, but not a big deal. The main front zipper has a flap that can be secured with Velcro to keep the water out. The two pockets has flaps and zippers as well, and the insides are mesh-lined and are big enough to fit an entire 16.9 fl oz water bottle, or my iPhone 6 Plus with its Otter Box Defender case on with some room to spare.I highly recommend it for any kind of rain except for really heavy rain like a monsoon.Pics included, and sorry for the blurred out face and bathroom…

Love the fit! This is an XL in Marigold. I’m 5’5″, 165/170 lbs. I usually wear a large or xl in shirts. I have 3 kids so my stomach has no muscle anymore and just hangs out haha. My hips measure 46″ and my chest is 42″. Usually a coat in my “size” fits my chest/shoulders but is way too tight around my hips. I just wanted something that fits me but isn’t so boxy and this cut fits me great. I also love the color. I was worried it would be too buttery of a yellow but it’s not, it’s darker. I included a pic of a tube of Carmex chapstick against the sleeve for reference of the color haha. Also I’m wearing at t-shirt and a sweater underneath and it wasn’t too tight or too form-fitting, even when I was crouching on the ground to change a diaper while taking the pictures lol.

I really wasn’t sure about this jacket. I’m pear shaped and wear all of my weight around my midsection. In tops I’m an 18–20 and in pants I’m a 22–24. Theoretically, this jacket was supposed to fit but sizing is always such a gamble with bigger sizes. My North Face 3x just barely zips on a good day and my Eddie Bauer 3x zips, but doesn’t leave much room for anything else. I need something to take to Alaska that is lightweight, rain proof, AND leaves enough room for some layers underneath. I was so pleasantly surprised! This one fits! I mean, there’s not a ton of extra room, but it zips right up and I can definitely wear a few layers underneath. For reference my waist is 54” and my hips are 56”.
