Best design! I have 4 kids and used many brands but Dr Browns is the best designed paci let me tell you why. The typical paci with two pieces gets water and soap stuck inside. There is another brand with similar design to Dr Browns that is given at birth from hospitals. It has a round edge causing it to push against the baby’s nose, this is troubling with tiny babies. Dr Drowns design is curved down around the nose area preventing any possible blockage for breathing. Some people wonder what’s the difference between size 0 and size 3 month etc. There are no differences in the size, the difference is in how hard they are. As babies grow they will start to chew on it and tug when teething so it may be better to upgrade the paci by the recommended age. However, 3 of my kids were used to the 0month paci and did not like it hard. Sorry for the long review

We love these pacifiers! My son takes them so well, while using the Dr. Brown bottles and after transitioning from them. They are easy to clean and you dont have to worry about water getting inside/mold like others we tried. I like the little handle they have on them and it makes it really easy to attach paci holders.I couldn’t find these in stores without buying a lovey. Came to Amazon and was shocked at the great price. 3 for 5 bucks is great and sometimes they go on sale for less.

These are the ONLY pacifier’s my son uses. Yes, even at 2 years-old & with the backing of a tie specialist pediatric dentist, and other his speech & occupational therapists! Something told me when pregnant this design, the “butterfly” style made more sense for breastfeeding!? I wasn’t sure what exactly would be since I was a FTM (first time mom).My son ended up with his first tie procedure at around 36 hours old. He is now 2 years-old and he is about to have his (3rd) third surgery to correct his tie issues. He has a forked tongue from a a full frenectomy in those early hours of life, he also has severe posterior ties as well! He is going to be in a case study actually. These have been a great aid in the early intervention of his speech and cranial therapy, as his ties have caused him additionally to have restricted range of his neck! It’s so sad that this topic is not discussed more, luckily I had knowledge of the importance for an infant to be checked. Now as until age 2, little to no “early” intervention is truly treated by most providers (I have been to EVERY type of specialist w/his award winning pediatricians help). However I cannot stress the impact of these for the exercises that I am able to do at home with him, & have been. These help with his lips and shaping for his practice of sounds. These are more orthodontic friendly, help with training their lips a mouth to have a bigger/wider opening for between breastfeeding. My breastfeeding story was heartbreaking, extremely hard, a HUGE battle & add dairy AND soy intolerance in the mix! However, I was just able to end our journey in February, about (2) months prior to turning (2) two. I only did a couple minutes of feeding each day in the morning and night, but I did it!More importantly though, he loves these guys, and we call them “Zoo-Zoo’s” as my fathers Canadian/British family has some weird words for items, but it works! I have always used the full Dr. Brown line. These are super hard to find in the stores though sadly! Also, I wish they’d fix their newest bottle design with the green filters. They ALL leak! No matter what! I still use my sterilizer daily, and I will be keeping it forever! They actually warrantied out my old blue one, and sent me a new one at no charge! Great company, products and service! I’d love to see them team up with “Halo” as I feel Dr. Browns promotes health and safety!

She prefers these pacifiers because the larger base touches her gums more and almost “massages” them. We also use dr browns bottles. They are super easy to clean and the little “handle” lets her grab it. Shes only 4 months old so she constantly rips it out of her mouth and tries to put it back…over…and over…and over. Haha. Also great price! Only 1 store sells these in my area and they cost more and only 2 packs.

Love this pacifier. My daughter is a very picky pacifier user. She only uses the pacifier for sleeping and traveling, otherwise she doesn’t want one. At 0-5months she would only use the Philips Avent soother. But at 6months she had out grown them and my husband and I began the process of purchasing a variety of new pacifiers for her to pick a new favorite. Lucky for us, this was the fifth one we had her try and she loved it. It’s her new favorite. She loves that the handle is easy to grab so when she wants to remove it, she does it on her own. This pacifier is a good one to try out if you’re infant is a picky pacifier user as well.

I wanted to write this review for those that are hesitant to purchase due to their authenticity. These pacifiers are my son’s favorite I wanted to purchase a few extra to have on hand and to leave at his grandparents house. I had previously purchased the same pacifiers at babysrus for more money and only getting 2 per package. This is definitely a better value. I will include side by side photos of the pacifier from babysrus vs the pacifier from amazon. They are both identical. I will also include photos of the packaging from amazon. The packaging from babysrus was the same it just had hard plastic to adhere it to the cardboard.

I love these, but more importantly; my son loves these! It’s the only pacifierthat he will take. I do think that they must grow legs and walk away bc it seems like mybsupply is constantly dwindling. Sooo I do a lot of reordering! This last order that I got had handles on them now!!!! I LOVE THIS and so does my little guy!!!! It just makes them look better to me and it’s easier for him to carry!!!! Ordering more right now!!

I feel like trying to find the right pacifier is like trying to please a food critic. Which dish will they spit out? What will make them look at you in utter disgust? And which rare, carefully and lovingly assembled treasure will keep them coming back for more? Or is this just my kid? We’ve tried them all, and while she has politely accepted every one (albeit some with an impressive side eye), this is our Old Reliable. It’s easy for her to grip and get to her mouth, even when she’s half asleep. We’ve taken to sprinkling them like fairy dust around her crib so no matter which way she turns during the night, there’s always one within reach. I think we own at least a dozen of these, and each purchase was 100% worth it.

UPDATED REVIEW:Since my daughter turned 13 weeks old, she had taken to this pacifier much better. At first, I think she was too young to handle the nipple, but now she does very well after a few attempts (and we didn’t force it on her). When we first had challenges with this pacifier, I thought about brand or style would be the solution so I bought 3 other kinds. After completing this Dr. Brown’s with the other 3 (Tommee Tippee, Nanobebe, Itzy Ritzy), I realized this one worked best because the top of it is cut in a way that it doesn’t go up too high so it touches the bottom of her nose like the other ones, the base of the nipple has a mound similar to the breast, and it is designed to produce better suction so less air is swallowed. I now am a huge fan because my baby is, and especially after testing and comparing this with 3 other brands. I would wait until 12 to 13 weeks if age though. My 2-3 month old has a very difficult time sucking on these, the nipples are very long and she often gags on them. They are also too heavy for a 0-3 month to keep in the mouth so is have to hold it in for her. I like the material and shape, easy to clean, but definitely not practical or functional for a newborn.

  10. Mama40

As a foster mom to over 50 babies this is the one pacifier that almost everyone of my babies settle on. It is a little large for small newborns, but it very similar to the nipple on the Dr Brown bottle that a lot of people use from birth. This pacifier is 1 piece, has an open handle to make it easy to attach to a leash, soft and durable. It’s easy for baby to hold and stays in their mouth better than any other in my opinion. And my current 18 month old thinks the best thing is she can put her finger inside the nipple to use it as a teether!
