Very accurate thermometer. If you go see a doctor Exergen thermometer is what they are using. The only thing I am not happy about is I just found it cheaper at Costco today.

With kids, and having to take temps everyday for work. This has been a lifesaver. Convenient and very accurate for surface temperature taking. If you want to get more accurate than this, you are heading towards rectal territory, friend. An important thing to note, establish a normal baseline. If Your temp is normally 98.0 every morning when you wake up, you know something is up when your temp is 98.9.You won’t doubt your thermometer and you won’t doubt what your normal might be.

This is an excellent thermometer, easy to use and seems to be accurate. It was highly rated on Consumer Reports. However, it was priced much higher than Target’s price when I bought the same thing a few months ago, so it seems the seller is price gouging a bit.

I bought this thermometer a second time. Now mind you the first time I bought it was about 14 years ago and it still works. I don’t remember if it had a light previously but the new one does which helps see the temp in the dark. I’ve tried countless other thermometers but I absolutely swear by this one. It’s the most accurate forgets temp reader. Honestly the ones that don’t touch your forehead are not accurate and when you’re pregnant with a fever ever degree counts to help decide what your next move should be. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs it. Like I said I’ve had it for 14 years. It never crapped out like the other ones do. It still works but not as quickly so I don’t suggest waiting 14 years to buy a new one . Best of luck and good health to all.

I am a nurse and this thermometer is the one used at my work. I find it to be simple to use and very accurate. I desired to have one for my home use. I tried to order one at Walmart.com but was unable to obtain one d/t the pandemic currently plaguing our country. It is very difficult to fine this brand anywhere at this time. I was so pleased to be able to obtain this through AmazonPrime. I hope Amazon will continue to be able to sell this brand as it is the best. After having kids during a pandemic, our two contact free scanners just do not read accurately. Sometimes being a few degrees within seconds. This finally returns some confidence knowing if you or your family members have a fever.

Extremely easy to use; just lightly scan the instrument across your forehead while holding the on/off button down. I compared numerous readings with a traditional under-the-tongue thermometer and the readings were all within 0.1 degree of each other. Much quicker, more easy to keep clean plus it’ll store up to 7 of your, or your family members last readings.
