10 reviews for Fintie Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Things to know. This case is designed to carry keyboard in it. If you remove the keyboard the case becomes too loose. Consider getting a simple case too (which I did).If you consider this case with keyboard, make sure you get a tampered glass for your samsung tablet. Even for simple fintie or any other case, once you install protective glass, samsung fingerprint scanning button gets at the same level as glass, so it does not start your tablet if you press the case near it when it is closed. And keyboard keys do not touch it either. So this is a must. But keep in mind that with this case, keyboard and tampered glass it becomes a bit heavy :)Although case is magnetic and keyboard sticks to it, be careful not to drop your keyboard, especially when you are folding your case and flipping keyboard upside down.Keybord looks good. Keys feel good. I installed two languages. Shift+space allows you to switch between keyboard languages. For that you need at least two keyboard languages downloaded on android.I like it.

t is better than I thought it would be. The keyboard is great and the case is perfect for the job. The Galaxy Tab 2 fits perfectly into the holders which are very nice. The keyboard can be placed where the user finds it easiest to use. The case is magnetic which holds the keyboard in place. The only problem I have is that the on and off switch is hard to use. Some may prefer a keyboard with a touch pad which this keyboard does not have but I find touch pads hard to use but if the user has a USB connector to the Tab, just insert a dongle and a mouse will work which is perfect for me.

Bought this keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet because I did not have room to take my laptop workstation for a quick trip out of town. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was for this to handshake with my tablet and certainly added ease and convenience to my experience, not to mention that it added a whole new dimension to the tablet experience as I had never used a keyboard with a tablet before.I seems to be fairly well constructed, especially for the price. I had no hesitancy in putting it into my suitcase.Well done!

Just to be clear upfront (since some reviews seem to be for multiple different tablets), I bought this for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. I would really give this 4.5 stars for a few small reasons, but they are so small it’s not worth rounding down.Pros:–Easy to set up (instructions were in a small print but were very clear)–Easy to use (if one places the keyboard on the magnetic part and the tablet doesn’t slide around at all)–Small and compact (Based on some reviews, I was afraid my tablet would turn into a tome, but it’s still nice, light, and small, and easily portable)–Great battery life (a hard find these days…)Cons:–The space bar doesn’t always register for me. I tend to type fairly quickly, but I don’t think I type all THAT fast–the key may just not be sensitive enough.–No delete key, which is makes my soul shed a single tear every so often as I’m forced to use the backspace key instead.–No multi-lingual input support (it recognizes different language keyboards, but when I tried to use the Spanish and French ones, for example, I was unable to insert accents or special characters at all).–No autocorrect/autocomplete support (combined with the above three items, this is a little annoying).–No “enter to send” support that I’ve found yet (Ok, I know you can’t do that on the onscreen keyboard, but still, it’s habit for when I feel like I’m on an external keyboard).OVERALL:Y’all. It’s a $30 keyboard and case that protects the tablet and lets you type and generally works pretty solidly. Especially when you take the price into account, this is an AMAZING bargain. So far, none of the inconveniences are worth the extra $70-$80 I’d have to spend on a keyboard that might sort of resolve one or two of the above issues. For the vast majority of users, I highly l recommend this.

My Samsung Tab S2 keyboard started going bad and I prefer a separate keyboard rather than using the one on the tablet screen. I was initially wary of this brand because the price was so low in comparison to a replacement Samsung, but the reviews were good so I decided to give it a shot. Since my tablet is pretty old I liked the idea of a lower priced keyboard replacement. The delivery was super fast so that was another plus. I am really pleased with it. There’s a slight delay for the keyboard to connect when you start typing, but my Samsung was the same. I do like that the on/off button is on the face of the keyboard rather than the side like the Samsung. There’s also a Connect button and a light when your Caps Lock is engaged. The only things I see missing that my Samsung had, are a Delete key (which I saw mentioned on a review, but it’s not a huge deal to me) and a touch pad (again, don’t care about this because I prefer to use a bluetooth mouse.)The case is a little different than I’m used to but works great. It seems comparable in thickness and the camera on my tablet lines up with the camera opening on the case. There’s a frame on the case where you pop in your tablet, and the keyboard is magnetic so you just lay it on the other portion of the case and it stays put. BTW, if you want to keep using your Tab S2 case, you can, because the keyboard area is magnetized on it and the Fintie keyboard stays in place just fine. If you’re going to do that, FYI, this Fintie keyboard laps over the sides of the Samsung case the tiniest bit, but it’s negligible and the case closes fine. The only thing that took me a minute on the Fintie case was figuring how to stand up the screen while still being able to access the keyboard. It’s opposite from the Samsung in that on the Fintie you lift the bottom of the screen and pull it forward a bit into one of the grooves in the case (on the Samsung, part of the case folds down in back to support the tilted screen). I think the Fintie gives you a little more flexibility on the tilt of the screen. The case positioning may be obvious to someone else but I’m a creature of habit and was trying to make it work like my Samsung. Just thought I’d provide that info in case someone has brain lock like me.One other nitpicky mention is that the keys make a slight clicking noise and are not completely silent, but that’s not a show stopper for me. I’m really happy with this purchase.

Great little case. The keyboard is magnetic so you can move it around and adjust to the most comfortable position for you. The screen connection allows multiple positions for the tablet angle. No issues with connectivity.NOTE: if you’re looking for a replacement for a laptop to you on your lap in bed, on a couch, etc., just as a fair warning this is not an exact equal. I still have a macbook pro, and love being able to sit propped in bed with my laptop on my knees. Because of the way the tablet case is made, with the detachable keyboard, you don’t have enough sturdy support to have the tablet sit comfortably at an angle while holding things together. I’d say the best bet is to get one of those little over lap tables for in bed, or a *gasp* tv tray for on the couch. Otherwise the case is much sturdier than others I’ve tried out. So it’s more of a tablet thing than this particular case thing.

So far works like a charm, but on the second day of purchase the item’s space bar did not wrk for some reason, but later on, it worked without issues. The product is excellently designed by having the keyboard and the cover as separate, i can keep the keeboard aside when not in use. Over all a good value for your money.Update: I’ve had a concern about the battery of the keyboard, but the batterly on the keyboard lasts very long, i’ve been using it for the last 20 days without charging, of course I’m not a power user, i use it in short bursts. The keyboard automatically stops without I having to turn it on every time, works exactly how I anticipated it to work. I highly recommend this product.Update after 2 months: The keyboard battery does not die, it still runs, ofcoz, i use it in short bursts, i’m not a power user of the keyboard, but, even in standby it give a very good battery.

I use my Tab S2 for business email, instant messaging a conference calls using Webex & Skype for business. The keyboard is something that, although small, I can still type on because it has real keys. The case is great, magnetic hold downs are a nice touch, and I can fold the keyboard into the tablet, and they both fit in my man-purse.

  9. readwriter

Overall I really like this case and keyboard. I recently upgraded from an 8 inch Samsung tablet to the 9.7 inch. At home, my tablet is never far from reach. I’m reading constantly. I use it in the kitchen to read recipes. I surf Pinterest when we’re watching TV. The case/keyboard has increased the usability of the tablet for me. My previous case wouldn’t stay upright for more than a few seconds before falling. This one has nice grooves that the tablet fits into securely. My only complaint, and it’s my own observation, is that the case makes the tablet much heavier. I recently hurt my elbow and I find it difficult to hold the larger tablet, especially when reading before I fall asleep. I like the design and colors, and I feel like the case is adequate protection for the screen.

The keyboard is the main feature of this product. It has everything you may desire in a portable Bluetooth keyboard. rechargeable battery, charging cable, great battery life, looks, and fantastic tactile feel. The cover is above average, however it lacks a bit of stability due to more soft area than expected…Overall, this is a wonderful addition to the Samsung device! together with a Bluetooth headset and a Bluetooth mouse, this device is a great platform for my son to attend his online classes and complete his schoolwork!I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to begin using their Samsung tablet as a full blown device.
