I was a little hesitant to purchase a ‘renew’ item, but being on a budget I took the leap, all I can say is that I am glad I did. The packaging it came in looked suspicious, maybe I was expecting the original packaging, but upon opening, it was carefully packaged. When I took out the item it looked brand new, with absolutely no scratches on the top, the keyboard looked new, and nothing on the bottom. Now for the important part, it came with no charge but once the charger was connected it worked flawlessly….. I am extremely happy with my purchase

For the price, ya can’t beat it! I needed a laptop just for typing stories on (author) so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I ordered this model refurbished one evening and it arrived the next morning! Upon first turning the laptop on, I felt a little overwhelmed bc it wants to teach you everything and walk you through a ton of things while speaking it all to you, not just giving prompts on the screen. I went through the process for a few mins before looking for a way to skip it lol. I noticed when I began clicking on things and moving the cursor around, the laptop was speaking everything to me still! It took me a while but I was able to finally figure out how to turn off that voice! For example, when I clicked on Google, the laptop said loudly “OPENING GOOGLE!” Then I searched a website and when it loaded the laptop began reading the entire web page details to me! Although annoying to me, this would be a great tool for people with struggling vision. Aside from that, this laptop has many features I found amazing! I use my hotspot on my phone to run the internet on my laptop, and the laptop actually synced itself with my phone! So all of my login information and saved passwords were readily accessible! My phone and laptop are essentially one 🙃 two devices with one mind. Furthermore, while using my laptop, all of my incoming text messages appear right on my laptop screen. So I’m able to read and respond to people while I’m working on my laptop. Pretty cool. I purchased it for writing stories, but I ended up using it for so much more! From social media, shopping, web browsing, listening to music, and watching movies and shows! I will add that even though the annoying robot voice shouts out everything you do when that setting is on, the speakers actually aren’t loud at all. You will need a Bluetooth speaker for watching things or listening to music. I watch Prime And Netflix on this laptop running off my cell phone’s hotspot, and the screen is very clear and high resolution. Just like watching a small TV screen. Just make sure you have a secondary speaker unless your listening in a dead silent atmosphere lol

Just got it, so this is the first take.I am very impressed by the look of the chrome book. It doesn’t look refurbished at all. It looks and works like brand new. As regards the OS, it takes getting used to it. I use Windows OS on my regular desktop so I’m a bit unfamiliar with this system but I hope I get the hang of it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.If I run into any issues with the system, I will update my review. Otherwise, my comments and rating stand as is here now.

I have had this laptop for almost 3 months now. Amazon has been asking for a review, but I wanted to use for a good while before doing so. I absolutely love it. I’ve never purchased a refurbished item before, but I didn’t want anything very expensive, so I decided to give this a try. The size is perfect for me, not heavy at all. It linked right up to my home wifi with no problems. I surf the web from Amazon, Netflix, Youtube. Watch videos, and shop. I am not a techy person, so I am sure there are abilities on this computer that I don’t know about, but just haven’t delved into everything yet. I haven’t tried to hook up my printer yet, so can’t speak to that. And I need a mouse, as I can do things faster using a mouse. Overall, I am so pleased and glad that I made this purchase.

A lot of people rate this chrome book thumbs down but I’m actually giving it a thumbs up! I was expecting scratches on the screen and some more, but NOPE everything came just fine. Delivery was on time actually earlier then expected. Easy to connect to WiFi, charger works good and it’s just all around good for 119 bucks total!

I purchased this for my wife, who has real issues with computers. It does exactly what she wants – gets her into her e-mails with no hassle. Also, web browsing is very easy. The item was nicely packaged and works well. However, I could tell it was refurbished, they could have done a better job cleaning it. They should have hit the keys with more compressed air, and cleaned the screen a bit better. However, it was a great deal.

I am very happy with Renew Pros. I purchased two Chromebooks (refurbished) and one was defective when it arrived. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and stayed in contact with me the entire time. From the moment I requested a refund to the point of recieving the notification from my financial instite that the refund was given. I also purchased another Chromebook from them, also refurbished, and it is in great shape. The seller is friendly, helpful, and I highly recommend them!

I don’t think this is a touch screen. My son broke his old chrome book by continuing to use a broken charger and eventually it wouldn’t charge anymore. So he had to use his own money to replace it. At ten years old he had Christmas money. This chromebook was perfect. He uses it daily and it works great for him. I also love the parental controls Microsoft allows, limiting the sites he visits, time limits etc. Would definitely recommend.
