I’ve been in the AV industry for over 20 years, and I’m a Samsung guy all the way. But when I needed a small TV for my basement, I didn’t need and didn’t want to spend the money for a Samsung TV. I saw the reviews for this TV, and going against my Samsung loyalty, I took the bait and bought this Insignia. I’m beyond impressed with the picture quality, quick processing speed, and features of this TV. It excels in all aspects. If you’re unsure if you should buy this TV, take it from a pro. Worth the short cash you pay for it.

Great Quality picture. I do recommend to into the settings and enable some things to get the best out of the 4K UHD. Plus it arrived earlier than expected. 5/5 would reccomend

At first….the learning curve set me back….but a few days later….I love this TV…..intuitive….smart…and fun to use. I finally found the power cord…it was misplaced and jammed in styrofoam. The thing was so easy to set up….the picture is astounding…and rivals TV’s worth twice as much…It’s a bit weird at first…the interface isn’t like anything I have used before…but once you get it….I love the audio commands feature.I was going to send it back….now I’m really happy I didn’t.For 300 bucks……absolutely the best deal I ever experienced….Well done Insignia….

Easy easy easy! So pleasurable to totally understand and easily set up a new electronic device in the home and sync with everything. The price was great! The sound and the image are astounding. Beautifully packed. Start to finish by myself at 64 years old was a piece of cake. I highly recommend.

THIS 43″ TV IS DESIGNED SO WELL.. ITs the ‘FIRST’ HDTV Ive owned thats setup -from ground up- to operate …”logically” – EZ – FAST – EVERYTHING is …FAST!! a CHILD could/would operate!! 3 buttons straight down the Remote.. thats it! Go everywhere, do everything u want – no prob. OF COURSE: 4K ULTRA HD QUALITY – GREAT! Antenna MENU – GREAT!! FIRST Antenna menu Ive seen that ACTUALLY allows EZ, FAST-CHOICE usage of Antenna! I actually find myself watching Antenna TV now – and ENJOY doing!!! WIFI 5g – SOLID! GET FAST SPEED from – like never before! NOTICEABLY Better INTERNET experience – overall.I JSUT DID plug it into a BOSE System, but sound was pretty good without (jsut adjust your sound output for MUSIC or self-adjust otherwise!) In fact: Before I connected, WIFE was listening to EAGLES via U-TUBE – thought it was coming out the BOSE System…FIRE TV/AMAZON SIDE: Honestly – havent even setup yet – cause been strictly enjoying ALL the other technology – FULLY- like never before – otherwise! Guess I’ll get around to it -eventually!POINT IS: A HELLUVA LOT OF TECHNOLOGY – for under $400?!!! WOW. Im SOLD.. Im SOLD! Listen: have a 72″ SONY bought 2yrs ago.. GARBAGE compared to THIS (SAD to say)!! LACKS HALF THE “ENJOYMENT” TECHNOLOGY THIS ONE DOES! AND I PAID 4x’s THE PRICE (no exaggeration!) FOR THE SONY (BACK THEN). Its already going bad on me, BTW! really disappointed in it… SONY can do WAAAY Better.ANYWAY: THIS TV? A WINNER!! FIND WE ‘ALL’ WATCHING IT WAAAY MORE THAN MY SONY NOW! A SHAME. BUT THATS A FACT! Will prob replace my SONY with a bigger one of THESE – soon as I can afford. Definitely considering!! : ))(this now makes #4 in the HDTV 4K-series Ive had – so far! Others? GARBAGE, by comparison).

Ok for all of you needing a cheap tv, buy this one!!!! I bought this on prime day and picked it up the same day at my local best buy. This way I didn’t have to worry about any possible damages during shipping!! At this price I thought I’d give it a try. Sure glad I did!! The picture is great! I am pretty tech savy, but this was easy to set up. The UI is not laggy. TV loads up fast. It’s lightweight. Stands are sturdy, but it was kinda a pain to screw in because you have to shove the screw in a small opening where your fingers won’t fit.!!ATTENTION FOR 4K GAMERS!!I play 4k games on my xbox one S. Out of the box the picture quality on this tv for my 4k games were atrocious. After some tinkering around with the picture settings, I FINALLY FOUND HOW TO MAKE 4K LOOK GOOD. Mess with all the dials all you want for your own custom fit. BUT. The important thing is to go to the picture setting > advanced settings > HDMI Input Mode> and change it from ‘Auto’ TO either ‘mode 1 or 2’. This will significantly improve your 4k image with your 4k compatible gaming console and games. This is a MUST DO!!After reading some reviews I was kinda iffy. But now that I have tested it out myself, I would say that some one star reviews are user error or unfortunate accidents out-of both parties control.

I have had my eye open for a 4k UHD TV in 43 inch, when I saw Best Buy selling this Insignia and a Toshiba for $239 and $249 (models listed below) respectively on Amazon, all I had to do was chose one.Insignia NS-43DF710NA21 43-inch Smart 4K UHD – Fire TV, Released 2020Toshiba 43LF621U21 43-inch Smart 4K UHD with Dolby Vision – Fire TV, Released 2020Keep in mind the prices for both were higher on Best Buys site, for example the same Insignia was $279 on Best Buys site. Although the Toshiba is supposedly has slightly better color contrast and has Dolby, the first three pages of most recent reviews had too many issue listed for the Toshiba, so I went with the Insigna. And to be fair the components , memory, processor, etc on these are almost identical, there is almost no difference, so reviews are factored in.I placed my order for pick up in the evening and got a notice the next morning it was ready to pickup. I picked it up in the afternoon and it took me 3 minutes to walk into Best Buy get the TV and leave. Painless and great transaction.I have seen complaints about this TV (features, colors, speakers, etc) and for me a 43 inch 4k UHD with Amazon fire, Alexa that works out of the box with updates in under 10 minutes is a great TV. How long it lasts is the key. For $239, I think it is a solid 5 star TV for what it comes with, if it were $300-320 it is likely a 4-4.5 star TV.Since it has 1080p resolution it can be used as a PC monitor. I did set it up initial as one. I recommend the minimal distance to the monitor be 4 feet. Set up display settings you want and….go.Pros:I will say I have a Roku smart TV and activating the Amazon Fire was faster and easier. The TV has great colors in the dark watching movies.Speaker are pretty descent.I think how easy and seamless it was to get it at Best Buy is also a pro.Cons:None so far for the price point and the results I have seen.Good luck and enjoy.

Got this for my elderly folk to replace their old 32″ LCD. I have a Firestick and am familiar with the interface and this being built into the TV makes it a lot easier. Prime Videos that are available in 4K seem to automatically play at the highest resolution but I don’t know how to turn it off except maybe to go into the Settings and Data Monitoring. It’s great that this switches easily between streaming and the cable input. You get everything you’d want – great color, awesome clarity, sharp picture and good audio without spending too much.

1st off for the price point this tv is great..i have many insignia tvs throughout my home and 1 is 6 yrs old and works great…the odd thing about this tv is it doesnt mention hdr 10 anywhere on site or package but when i hooked up my xbox it says tv is hdr10…HUGE UNEXPECTED BONUS…its just odd the tv doesnt show this anywhere
