This is for the 650 freesync model no hdr. I recently returned the Samsung CH70 to Best Buy as there were several issues. I stumbled across this monitor and read some positive reviews regarding performance so decided to give it a try. I am blown away by the quality of this monitor. I primarily game on the Xbox X and although that system can’t push more than 60hz the response/imput lag of this monitor is very impressive. The Samsung Ch70 according to many is the best monitor possible for the Xbox and after using both the 650 performs slightly better. So if HDR is not important and you want a monitor with above average picture quality with excellent response/imput lag then this is for you.

I’ve had a bit of bad luck with the 34″ ultrawide market and had 2 of them have problems so I decided I would give the 32″ a try and see how it goes. The first thing I was concerned about though was the pixel density being the same as 24″ 1080p, since I came from a higher PPI on the 3440×1440 34″…but honestly it looks more than fine to me.The 144hz + Gsync is excellent! Color quality is surprisingly accurate with a 96.7% sRGB after calibration which is very decent for a VA panel. Most importantly the large screen size is incredibly immersive!

Nothing bad to say regarding this new monitor. So far, running Wolfenstein New Colossus at high, maintaining a clean, tear free 60-70 FPS using a AMD RX580 with FreeSync on. Wow, so much better than 1080P!*** PLEASE NOTE: The customer photos that show a rear light ring are NOT for this model. 32GK650F-B DOES NOT HAVE A LED REAR LIGHT RING! If that’s a feature simply must have, it was available on the “…650G-B” version of this monitor…but good luck finding it. This info is directly from LG.Working in Light Room and PhotoShop is a real treat now, too. So much work area with such clarity is a treat.

Absolutely the best monitor that you can get for 1440p/144hz gaming. I use display port to connect to the PC so getting the max refresh rate is perfect. The viewing angles are great, the colors after a little adjustment, using the colors settings recommended from a video by Hardware Unboxed and the colors look great. It can get very bright if needed. It has an Audio out port to be able to connect headphones or external speakers to the monitor for sound and that is very convenient since external speakers or headphones will sound better than if the monitor had internal speakers. I dont experience any ghosting at all while gaming. Excellent monitor. 10/10 would buy again

I recently replaced my 15 year old computer with a new gaming rig. Obviously it doesn’t make much sense to invest in a high-end PC only to get bottlenecked by my old 1080p 60 MHz monitor, so I went looking for alternatives. After doing some research, 4K monitors seemed excessively expensive. I’m intrigued by ultrawides, but they’re also pretty pricey. 1440p monitors are great values right now, however. At this price point, I’m very comfortable picking up a good 2K monitor that will hold down the fort for a few years until 4K and/or ultrawide prices come down to earth. I’m positive that one of my college-aged kids will take this off my hands when I decide to replace it.This monitor is huge compared to the 24″ screen that it replaced. The picture quality is great, and it handles triple digit frame rates with no problem. I’m definitely satisfied. The only tiny complaint I have is that the DP cable that comes packaged with the monitor is very short. That doesn’t matter much to me since I have my rig sitting on my desk right beside the monitor anyway, but you’ll probably need to buy another cable if you put your computer under your desk.

I went from a 1080p 24″ 60hz monitor (which I actually really liked) to this when we found out we would be doing some work from home. I don’t know how it compares to other monitors on the market but for me it is amazing. Looks great, is large for a computer monitor which works great for gaming, streaming Netflix or YouTube as well as work (you can have multiple windows open simultaneously without overlapping and still be a useful size window) and doesn’t break the bank. I guess I got lucky as some said it has a lot of light bleed but mine has none noticeable. It has a high refresh rate which works great for gaming with a beautiful picture. I noticed the difference right away when I switched (be sure your computer has the components to properly make use of the resolution and refresh rate). It’s one of the best priced 32″ 2560 x 1440 monitors on the market that I’ve seen and they don’t really seem to cut any corners to get it there. My only gripe with the monitor is the stand is not my favorite. I’m not sure I like the size and shape and it does seem to rotate a little too easy. It is very adjustable though and has a Vesa mount for a monitor arm or wall mount. Great buy.

I am comparing this product to the VIOTEK GN32DB as I’ve had both and they are direct competitors. I consider this product better for most people, as it renders text clearer, has more accurate colors, and ultimately is a more well rounded product. That being said, I personally enjoyed using the VIOTEK monitor more, as it has a saturation option that allows you to blast colors into your face and this LG monitor does not.The build quality is excellent, as I’ve found with most LG monitors I’ve purchased. The cables are managed properly and aren’t a pain to plug in. The stand spreads far across the desk, but has no wobble. The stand is also very versatile, with pivot, tilt, height, etc. Excellent build. Some people won’t like that the power brick is external- I don’t really mind.Picture quality is superb. Colors are great, though might need some tweaking. This monitor offers two “butter smooth gameplay” options in the form of Freesync, which sacrifices GTG response time, and 1ms motion which reduces color quality in exchange for greatly decreasing ghosting and overall making this look and feel like a low latency TN panel. I enjoy having both of these options because you can switch between them – I’d use 1ms for CS:GO and Freesync for something like Witcher 3. These two options cannot be enabled at the same time, but given the types of games they are geared for, I think having these options available are wonderful. As measured by Hardware Unboxed – this monitor is the *only* 32 inch VA panel that he’s tested that can keep up with 144hz refresh rate as far as response time goes – measured at 6.5ms (versus most other’s ~8.5ms) – I could not personally tell the difference between this and the VIOTEK but it still gains props for being the fastest.Colors are good, contrast was very good and text was reasonably clear. Do note that you are essentially buying a TV- this thing is rather large- however it works well as a monitor particularly for gaming. If you’re planning on sitting close to it, however, I’d definitely recommend going for a 27” 1440p panel instead as text clarity does suffer. This worked well for me based on my sitting distance, but it may not work for a large amount of desk setups.Overall, this is the monitor I’d recommend anyone looking for a larger form factor gaming monitor should get on a budget. It’s effectively flawless – where the only gripes I have with it are personal preference and absolutely not normal preferences for anyone to have. LG has done a great job here, and I appreciate how they are bringing their fantastic technology to the budget gaming sector.

I have owned and used this monitor for 3 months. I figure that’s enough time to break it in and write a review. I must say I’m very pleased. It arrived with absolutely no defects. Setup was quick and simple. Connected it to my gaming PC using the provided display port cable. My PC auto adjust and the display was set to 144Hz. I’ve had no issues. It took a bit of tinkering to get the settings on the monitor itself to my liking, but it’s all personal preference at that point.PS5 connectivity: This monitor blows me away with displaying a PS5 image. Upon connecting it with the included HDMI cable that came with the PS5 I tab to the system settings only to realize that the resolution automatically selected is 4K (3840×2160). The monitor itself downscales the 4K image to its native 1440p resolution without any sort of trickery done by the user. The image quality is amazing, colorful and super smooth for the PS5. Apparently some monitors on the monitor are capable of this for the PS5, but not all. 1440p is what a lot of Sony users want, so I was thrilled this monitor makes it happen.100% Thrilled with all avenues of this display. For $300 you can not go wrong!

Bought this to replace an older Asus 1080p 60 hz monitor. I wanted something that was 32″ but was higher resolution than 1080p. This monitor fit the bill nicely. I was hesitant to order the Gsync variant due to the exorbitant price difference and decided to just go with the Freesync version, with the assumption that i would only be missing the LED ring on the back and the adaptive Sync option. Two days after i ordered this Nvidia announced support for Freesync with Nvidia cards. I can testify that i have the freesync enabled after the January 15 driver update and tested with the Nvidia Pendulum demo and there is no screen tearing. I am using a GTX 1080 card. The monitor is beautiful. No dead pixels and very little picture settings were required out of the box.

Everything about this monitor is good. The bezel is thin and unobtrusive. The stand is just the right size and form. The vertical and tilt adjustments work easily. The menu is the best I’ve ever seen on a monitor. It has a single joystick sort of button on the bottom, and a very well designed menu for setting the various options. The image quality is very good, very smooth frame rate, as expected, and the image quality is very good (not as good as a lower frame rate IPS monitor I have beside it, but very good regardless).I recently bough another IPS monitor for the image quality, but I wish i would have just bought another one of these monitors for the better controls, frame rate, stand, etc.
