10 reviews for LG 32ML600M-B 32” Inch Full HD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 – Black

This display is an incredible value. Color and clarity are excellent, port diversity a nice plus. I’m using it a second display from a MacBook Pro via a mini display to HDMI cable and it performs flawlessly. I’m a bit spoiled by the 5k display on my iMac, but the 1080 picture on here does look really good. Easy to view at any angle. The reader mode is a nice add on but pretty unnecessary as you can control those things from your computer with much more precision. The aesthetic is great, no visible buttons, very simple and clean look. The 32” size is working out great for all of the mixing controls etc in Logic Pro. My only complaint is the base is non adjustable and a little flimsy, but at this price point you could purchase a better base or a wall mount and still be in a great spot budget wise.

PIXEL PERFECT !!! Great replacement monitor for the workstation. Uses about 30 watts, which is less than that of the 22 inch, lower resolution LED monitor it replaced. The “glass” is non-glare, but smooth, unlike many of the matte types. Very nice. It was delivered two days after the afternoon order was placed, and that was standard/free shipping! I’m happy.”LG 32MA70HY-P 32-Inch Full HD IPS Monitor with…”

It’s not 4K, but at this price it is great for a work monitor. I have purchased two of them for a dual monitor scenario for my work from home set up. I like the fact that you can plug up to 3 device into each one. Right now I have a laptop and an Intel NUC running on them. I also like that the little, settings, toggle joystick is on the bottom and easily accessible. I have two 4K monitors on my main PC from another vendor and they put their controls on the back so it is a pain to get to them and makes me appreciate these LG monitors even more. Note, I do no gaming on these, but do not doubt that they would work fine for that purpose. One other added bonus is that this monitor comes with both an HDMI and a Display Port cable.

Overall im happy with my purchase. Image quality was good, No regrets. Two things i didnt like…As others have mentioned the screen is very shiny, and could be an issue in certain circumstances. The other is that it has a large power plug that takes up multiple valuable plug spaces.

Best 32 inch Monitor for the price. Love the colour reproduction, however it’s not a 4k screen. Keep in mind it’s not the biggest resolution screen. That took some time getting used to for sure. I’ve got mine set up on a floating monitor mount with the Vesa 200m*100m Vesa mount and Vivo single LCD monitor mount. Great combo!

Please let me preface this comment to let you know I’ve been in IT for 35 years. I purchased this monitor in 2018 for its size and competitive price. For three years I’ve had a fantastic performance and more than a few compliments from those who happen to see the monitor. If only all our technology was as dependable as an LG monitor.

Just received it, so this is an initial review, so no word on long-term reliability, but we have had other LG screens that are still going after many years, so I am not concerned about this one.Because it is 32 inches and “only” 1080p resolution, the pixels are visible when you are very close to the screen. However, I find that when sitting a comfortable distance away (~2′) the pixels are not noticeable. If your eyesight is particularly sharp, and the sight of pixels bothers you, you may want to invest in a higher resolution at this scale. For everyone else, this is a great choice.About the brightness: If anything, this monitor is a bit TOO bright, which I have also noticed in other LG monitors. The first thing I do is go in to the settings and turn the brightness down to zero, and even then it is quite glaring in a dark room. So if you are going to be using the monitor in a more well-lit space, you likely will not have to worry about this monitor not being bright enough. And of course the price point is right in the sweet spot, at or just below $200 at present makes this an excellent value in monitor real estate, especially coming from a reputable brand. So if you do not absolutely need 4K resolution in this size range, you can save yourself some money. That being said, I would go up to a higher resolution myself for anything larger than about 32-34″ diameter.

My daughter manages the childbirth and neonatal education programs at a major hospital, and was frustrated going back and forth between several applications which she needs open to manage her workload, and before Christmas was asking about multiple monitors. I did some research and in spite of the negative reviews with respect to resolution, gave her this monitor for Christmas as it appeared designed to simultaneously display multiple applications. A few days ago she sent me this text: “My screen is working so well! I am soooo happy!”I set this up for her late on Christmas day, so I got to see it first hand. The resolution on this monitor appeared to me to be identical to the resolution of her Dell laptop, and the resolution on the LG monitor was perfectly fine for running email, a calendar app, and other apps. I do not understand the issues others have raised about this monitor’s resolution, but we are not using it to run hi-res movies. If you need more monitor real estate to run multiple apps simultaneously with the same resolution you would get on a laptop, this is a great solution. The only negative is that the set-up instructions are so minimal they are worthless. Setting the monitor up was pretty obvious but getting it to work with the pc was a bit of a challange, but several Google searches later I found the solution: hold down the Windows key and (and I aplogize but I don’t remember which other key, but it was a letter) a letter key, and it brings up a menu so you can select how you want the monitor to display from the pc.

Purchased this in October 2018 as a general purpose home office monitor to expand the screen space that my laptop screen could provide. For that purpose and for the price, I have no major gripes. It has been a good investment. Unlike some of the other reviews below, I haven’t had any issues with the stand, it does feel a bit flimsy, though. But, I’ve been careful with it, and it’s withstood a few rearranging projects. The IPS monitor is clear, colors pop, and everything is easy to view and read. Reader mode is great, it makes the colors pop much less (almost a sepia-like filter), but it protects your eyes during long work sessions. A 60hz monitor isn’t ideal for gaming, but I have gamed a bit on this monitor, and it handles things alright as long as you’re not expecting super graphics (get a gaming specific monitor if you want that). However, for a multipurpose monitor, you can certainly do worse. And, LG is a quality company. That’s my two cents.

Been wanting a proper monitor back, I hate having to switch on the TV every morning and then boot up the computer. So this is a nice change of pace, less “clicks” to deal with.Picture is lovely, resolution is great, brightness and contrast are awesome. I’m a 3D artist and this is just what the doctor ordered. Two small niggles I have. The screws for the stand were missing. I looked all over the packaging, my carpet and anywhere where they might have gone too so LUCKILY an older TV’s stand screws fit this model perfectly so that was taken care of. Then, there is just ONE button to adjust settings directly on the monitor. I mean really? What about navigation? There is no way to navigate or it’s not obvious. So shame on LG for making that harder than it should have been. Luckily my NVIDIA panel has an area that I could adjust there but still, the point being that if your going to offer adjustment directly from the monitor make it a little more intuitive. MmmmmKay?That’s it!
