For years, I’ve kept a small 24″ flat screen tv in my studio/office loft space that I use often when I’m working. While recently watching an action film on DVD, I wished the sound was a little better than the “tinny” sound that was standard on the TV and decided to explore potential soundbars. In addition to being affordable, it needed to be small because of the compact stand the monitor sits on. After a quick search, I stumbled across this item, only 15″ wide, pretty much the exact size I needed. After confirming that my tv had sound outputs that were compatible with the soundbar (for me, either an optical digital cable or RCA cable would work), I thought the incredibly reasonable price made it worth checking out. It arrived only two days after ordering. Though I initially couldn’t get the optical cable to work, the alternative RCA connector to 3.5 audio plug converter worked perfectly (the RCA plugs go into the tv output and the 3.5 plug goes into the auxiliary plug on the soundbar). I subsequently got the optical cable to work after reading the manual (duh — I simply had to change the sound settings on the tv from analog to PCM).I’m happy to say it now works beautifully–while I saw some people express the wish that there was more bass, the sound is still plenty robust and rich. I realized what a difference it was because when I was just watching a local news program through my streaming service, I decided there was no need for the soundbar, but after having heard what the soundbar is like, the tv sound all of a sudden sounded incredibly weak and I immediately switched on the soundbar! So no going back now — I’m extremely happy with the small investment I made. It’s also impressive that the soundbar came with several of the needed cable connectors like the above two I mentioned above — you usually don’t get that in more upscale soundbars! Very very satisfied.

We purchased a small TV that has terrible sound quality, so I figured I would try this inexpensive sound bar.I did not expect much because of the low price, yet I was pleasantly surprised. The item was very well packaged and came with everything you could possibly need including all possible connection cables, even the optical cable. The instructions are clear and well written.This item was simple to install and worked right out of the box with no complications. The remote even has pass-through capability so you don’t need to use two different remotes to turn off the TV and the sound bar.The Bluetooth capability is another bonus.The only negative I have found is that this item doesn’t have a place for mounting screws. Its designed to be placed on a flat surface, but it’s light enough to mount with double-stick tape.The sound quality is better than I expected although it could use a little more bass.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cost effective improvement to poor quality sound on their TV.

I have nothing but good things to say about this sound bar for the money I spend for it on Amazon. Have one in my Kitchen and one in my Shop being the New 24″ TV we purchased for the room sounds like Tin Can Speakers. Luckily for me I found this Majority Bowfell Sound Bar on Amazon. It saved the day. Now we can watch this TV while having dinner, lunch or even breakfast and also have good sound something you can’t get from small Flat Screen TV’s it seems under 40″ today. The Sound Bar was a Necessity. I should also add that its also a pleasure to stream music from my iPhone to this Sound Bar if I rather listen to music while there cooking or eating. It really has good sound. I would have no problem buying another if I needed to. Only complaint I have is that the unit comes with terrible directions not easy to understand I believe for many especially if you never had any experience in setting up this type of device. Even I had to look online to get a better idea for all the functions it has to set them up properly. Now its a breeze.

My old bedroom TV speakers had begun to sound like fish talking under water. Bought this unit as used from Amazon Warehouse (arrived in perfect condition). After being reminded by a reviewer to make sure I switched my TV audio out to PCM, the unit worked perfectly. Easy to plug in–I used the optical digital connection–the sound is much better than the TV’s ever was. But don’t buy it if you’re looking for a booming bass. It’s a small unit with a certain purpose; the sound is very good, sharp and clear with some bass and great volume, but it’s not made to be a large room-filling home theater surround sound setup! C’mon, I got it for around $30 bucks, whaddya expect?!? That said, I’m extremely satisfied. The remote is simple, small and very easy to use. This was a great buy!

I added an outdoor tv to my patio. To protect it, I bought a cover (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0894PVB62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It protects the tv from the elements but the TV speakers are in the rear of the TV…so now the sound is muffled. So, I bought this small sound bar. It fits neatly under the TV and I mounted it to the TV mount using a couple of wire tires. It sounds great and looks like it was built for the TV. Also, the TV I purchased was a smart tv but only has a digital audio output. This soundbar fit the bill since it has a digital audio input. Love it. I watch on the patio or from the hot tub.

Very easy to set up, only issue I had was I didn’t have my tv set on PCM but once I figured that out, it was super simple. The sound quality is great, can’t beat it for the price.

Just installed this sound bar in an RV. After changing the old tube TV to a new smart flat screen, we realized the sound wasn’t as good. We purchased this sound bar because of its size and the location it needed to be placed. It has not been tested while driving to see if it rattles or moves, but the sound it clear and loud enough. Will review with additions after a road test.

Perfect for the Den or wherever you watch comfortably. Not appropriate for additional rooms but any size room it will do, well! Even a larger open living space should be fine. Not that I have that but, whatever. Yes partners, this is the first hearing loose you will notice in you Husband!!! Women tend to like the sound of Bass which isn’t bad in these flat screen Smart TV’s. However the idiot Man who designed the Flat screen had to put the speakers facing the wall behind it, hence, poor sound quality. Perhaps it’s a rouse to get use to have to buy the sound bar who knows? This one works very well, for Treble, not surround sound!

I really enjoy this soundbar so far. I just set it up, it took me a little bit to figure out which connection was best (I ended up with the optical cable from my Xbox to the sound bar). It sounds way better than the crappy speakers on my TV and is decently loud for my midsized room. In all this little soundbar is great!

MY FAMILY AND I NEEDED THIS FOR A VERY OLD TV, WITH A BROKEN SPEAKER! WE HAD LITTLE HOPE THIS PRODUCT WOULD WORK WITH SUCH AN ANCIENT DEVICE!DUE TO AN AMAZON CUSTOMER, WHO ANSWERED A PREVIOUS QUESTION, WE NOW HAVE A TV, WITH THE MOST INCREDIBLE SOUND! THIS ITEM IS TRULY A BLESSING! WE ARE NOT TECH SAVVY, BUT, WERE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THE INSTRUCTIONS! ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING…WE HAD TO PUT THE TV ON “PCM” IN THE DEVICE SETTINGS! NOT STEREO OR DOLBY! THE SPEAKER WOULD NOT WORK ANY OTHER WAY! WE WERE ABOUT TO TOSS IT!THAT’S WHEN WE FOUND THE ANSWER IN THE PRODUCT QUESTIONS! OTHER TVS MAY REQUIRE A DIFFERENT SETTING!
