Critical reviews had me skeptical but for the price I thought, why not try it? Grandson at 4 MO was not interested and tummy time was uncomfortable. At 5 – 6 MO he’s loving it! There are two air inlets (one at outer edge and one for the center water fill area) and one large opening for water. So far all seal very well–no leakage! Just make sure to double check that plug is completely closed–a bit hard the first few times. Its possible to push the plugs into the mat but, again, difficult the first few times. Completely adjustable for his abilities/size and I fill with 1/3 capacity water so he gets a nice “splash” effect when slapping at the color sea creatures inside. Using vinegar in distilled water as suggested by other reviewers and I change it every 10-14 days, making sure to dry it completely between. Outside wipes down nicely and feels durable for use and secure for him. One critic said it was too cold for baby–I purchased in summer so its fine. The water is only ever going to be environment temperature so maybe a heating pad underneath would help if too cool. I keep out of the sun to avoid discoloration or heat damage. Overall I give this 5 Stars for price, quality, comfortable tummy time and baby interest–definitely has his attention (now that he’s ready) and is great for strengthening.

My baby hated tummy time prior to buying this inflatable mat. It keeps him interested and occupied. Seems pretty sturdy. Does not leak. You have to change water every two weeks. It was worth every dime!

Our grandson seemed to like this when he was about 5 months old then wasn’t interested. Now that he’s 8 months old and more mobile, he seems interested in it again. He keeps trying to get the fish to come out.
