These worked with various iPads and iPhones we have (except the brand new iPhone because it has a different charging end) I don’t get the error code you get with some generic cords on any of our devices. They just charge! Some reviewers say they only charge when plugged in in a certain direction… I plugged ours in, both up and down on each device… And it charges without wiggling or hassle!We have had them about three weeks now, and all three are still working! Which believe me with a 7 year old who loves iPad video games… Sometimes our cords that cost four times as much don’t last even three weeks.I hesitate to say this… Because I want them to stay this inexpensive but… Since I just ordered a second set of three …. Buy these you guys!!!! 3 cords for $8 … How can you go wrong? If for some reason they all stop working in the couple months, I’ll change my review. Charge on!

Works great!…Very strong!…Bind quickly!These days I find I go through lightning charging cords for two reasons: the first is because I have younger children with iPads who are impressively hard on charging cords, and the second reason is because Apple, in all their wisdom, often times renders existing non-Apple cords as “incompatible” even though the cord is MFi certified. These two reasons are what cause me to purchase good cords.I’ve had these 10’ long red cords for several weeks now. All the Apple devices my family uses have the latest iOS updates (15.1.1) as of this review in Dec of ‘21.The first thing I noticed when I plugged one of these cords into one of my devices is there was no momentary pause before the device initiated charging as is common with many off-brand cords. The connection was instantaneous…WIN!Second, the actual cable (not the ends) seems a bit more rugged and durable. I do believe these will last quite a bit longer and not fail so quickly near the ends from getting flexed and kinked so often as is normal with my kids. Add to that the benefit of a 90° end, and you have what I hope is the makings of a long-life cable…WIN!Last, I have hooked them up to higher power USB charging hubs to see if they slow down the charge rate and I have found that they pass through up to the 3.0 amps I put through with no signs of slowing things down…WIN!In short, from my perspective of having owned these for only a few weeks, I would definitely recommend them. I will update this review as necessary if I feel there’s any more information that is worth mentioning. Take note, the 90° end that plugs into your Apple device may not be able to reach up into the slot in your device if you have a case or cover on that interferes with the plug dimensions. My kids’ iPads have cases in them which, initially, would not allow the plug to reach up in far enough to connect. I used a sharp knife to gently remove just a little bit of the case around the port opening and now the 90° plug snaps in nicely and the case still looks and functions good…WIN!

I have a habit of resting my cell phone on myself, a blanket, a pillow, my dog… even when it’s charging. Alas, I’d bend the standard charge cable and eventually it would cease functioning.I tried another type of cable that was guaranteed for life… the life of the cable, that is. It only lasted two months? That was the life of the cable! Wait, what?Then I found these. This is exactly what I needed! Thus far there have been zero issues and there’s no obvious wear on or twisting of my new cable. I’m happy, my phone is happy, and it’s all good. Should anything change, I’ll add that information… but I don’t anticipate that happening. 🙂

Lucky for my family and I we had just purchased these. We were in the jungles of Borneo, hunting wild turtles. We had spent the better part of the day stalking this behemoth when out of nowhere he spun around and nearly ate me wife. I had seen just about enough when my son, who also happened to be my Sherpa for the trip, unleashed one of these cords and went Indiana Jones on the gigantic shelled terrorist of a turtle. In no time at all, he had used the other two cords to tie up and otherwise incapacitate the beast. A life saver. Also charges and downloads data really well.

I bought this set because I needed a charging cable that came off the device at a right angle. For this, it does very well.To be fair, the charging power rating has very little to do with the cable, that’s usually a function of the charger. I can’t image a significant resistance loss due to the cable. I gave it 5 stars anyway.As for durability, it’s too soon to comment. I gave it a three.Finally, for sturdiness, I gave it a three. It’s too early to rate but it does have a strain relief on both sides of the cord, but these are typical size. i would have given it a higher rating if the strain relief was longer.Thanks for reading and stay well.

This cord is long, rugged, and can handle a little abuse. Lol. The 10’ cord is perfect for those homes that have few outlets. Even though it’s not “name brand” I don’t believe that this cord affects the charging ability of the charger or the device. I have used these for several months now and My phone has charged well. (except when it downloaded this new update, it gets really hot when in use or charging. I don’t think that the cable has anything to with this new issue). The 90 degree connections are amazing for the longevity of the cord and are pure ergonomic genius.

These are one of the best Amazon purchases I have made over the years and I have made some great ones. The length at 10′ seems like they will be more length than you need, but they are the perfect length for almost anywhere. Those 3′ length cords that come with your phone are way too short unless you are plugged into you laptop, so we had been buying the 6′ cords which are decent length for plugging into the wall and keeping your phone close by. Now think about a cord you could plug in behind the couch and sit anywhere on the couch while using your phone. Or think about going to a hotel where you can barely find ANY available power outlet, and be able to plug in where you find an outlet and not need to stand near a wall to use your phone while charging it. Or in the car, plugged in up in the front dash or center console and allows anyone in the back seats of the car to charge up easily. Or in a public place – like a mall, airport, train, classroom, coffee shop etc where you are not lucky enough to be in a seat next to an outlet, you can plug in and move to an available seat.THE PRICE:This purchase come with THREE cords for a very inexpensive price under $15, plus available coupon makes it even cheaper. You can’t beat the price. I currently have two of the three in use. One is plugged in behind my couch and I put the cord under the couch and can plug in anywhere I may be sitting on the couch. The second is plugged in my bedroom where my outlet is behind my bed and the cord can make it around the side of my bed to my bedside table and I can grab it and use it freely while in bed, still connected. The third my husband has in his backpack for travel. At this price of less than $5 a piece, I plan to purchase another set of three.THE CHARGING:I like that these have the cord at a right angle to where they are plugged in. The ends have far less stress on them and therefore won’t break easily at the connection of where plugged in. See my photo showing the grey lightening cord plugged into a USB power outlet of a multi-port power extension. I was concerned that it may not connect to my phone with my cover on, but for mine it does. I have a very slim caseology cover on my phone, however I could see how if you have a thicker cover, this type of right angle cord would not fit. Once plugged in, the phone charges as quickly as any other lightening cord I have, from apple, Verizon, or otherwise. I have plugged it into my iPad mini as well, and also, it charged quite quickly. I have not timed it, but will do and update here.MY RECOMMENDATION:Highly recommend these lightening cords based on quality, usefulness and of course, price. I will be buying more and replace all my others in the house. NOTE, if you have a thick cover on your phone this may not plug into your phone with the cover on.**UPDATE** JANUARY 2020I replaced my phone with a thicker cover a couple months ago and it still fit great. However, recently I was adjusting my cover with the lightening cord still plugged in and it snapped. I still give these cords 5 stars for quality and price, however, just wanted to update with a warning to be careful not to wiggle these too much while plugged into your phone.

To be fair- I am pretty tough on charging cords. Unless I’m sleeping, my phone is in use pretty steadily, so even while charging, it is often used and moved about. This made forA very non user friendly interface with typical charging devices. This is different! I have virtually no fraying of the charging cord, and no bending. It charges my phone quickly and easily and seems to have exceptional power to do so. The cord itself is extra long and durable, and the plug is that attaches to the phone is a game changer! Its design allows for much easier use all around. It’s easier to use to plug into the port, and to remove, and the design itself allows for use if needed while charging without putting pressure on the cord or the plug which typically causes fraying and breakage, and as a result, stops the charger from working. I’ve had the charging cords for awhile now, and there is absolutely no damage or show of fraying and it’s still charging like brand new! I love having a multipack so that I can have a charge at the ready in various locations and because of the longer extended cord, reaching an outlet and accessibility is a breeze! So far this is the best charging cord I’ve used.
