This came in right before Devil May Cry 5 came out.14 hours spent playing Devil May Cry 5 and I had an amazing experience this monitor is big but looks crystal clear with 1440p resolution. The RGB is a nice addition but it is sadly just a tiny strip.144Hz is amazing for fast gameplay games like FPS and in my experience devil may cry.The stand looked lacking but is surprisingly well crafted. Not much I can say in terms of cons for this monitor besides the price, this is a pricey luxury item. No “native G-sync” might be a con but I do not mind.I used a DisplayPort cable with my RTX 2080 Video card.

I bought this monitor late September and so far so good. It’s a great size (coming from a 27″), I wouldn’t go any higher than this. The 1ms and 144hz are essential for any gamer. The brightness is really good and the colors are great! Going from an IPS then to a TN, the VA is the best choice for me so far. But i gave it a 4 instead of 5 because of the darkness. It auto adjusts when certain shots are dark, making the screen even darker for some reason, then there’s a slight lag when the scene is brighter (it takes half a second to readjust). If you play a lot of dark games like Doom or Killing Floor, this can get a bit annoying. Other than that, i don’t see any issues with this monitor. As for the debate of whether this is G-Sync compatible… When you open up your nvidia display settings (i have a 2080 super), g-sync shows up and you can toggle it on. I had a g-sync asus monitor (which cost double the price of the msi) previously and I can’t tell any difference between that one and this one. There’s no lag whatsoever or screen tearing with games like CSGO, Valorant, COD:WZ, rocket league, etc.All in all, it’s safe to say I’m very happy with my purchase.

I’ve had this for a week.Pros:Construction feels great. If you use the stand, the feet are metal and the stand is covered in a black shroud that is plastic but appears metal. The frame is metal (assuming aluminum). No glue spots on the edge of the screen.Vesa mountable if you don’t use the stand. The stand is highly adjustable and way better than most in the box stands I’ve used.Bezels are almost not there. The sides have about 1 1/2 mm bezel and top has 1mm. About a 1cm bezel along the bottom, but expected as that’s where the power switch is.I dont have any dead or unresponsive pixels after running a pixel test. The picture is fantastic. Great colors out of the box but could use a slight more tweaking.Gysnc was already enabled in the Nvidia control panel, and so far has played nice with any game I throw at it.This is my first curved monitor, but I enjoy the curve quite a bit. It’s adds a bit of immersive feeling to the games.I sit. 3″ from the screen and I can’t see pixels or lines. Looks great from far away as well.ConsTypical VA panel cons. Black smearing and slight in low light scenarios. Bad viewing angels (a bit wider angles than I’ve experienced with other VA monitors). High pace/ fps games, stick with IPS or TN.RGB. Rgb isn’t a con for me, but the placement is. You won’t see it at all no matter where you place the monitor, which defeats the entire purpose.Other things to knowI can run AAA games at max settings with this monitor. I use a 2060s, and it can get taxing on my card at times. If you plan to run AAA games, at a minimum I’d have a 5600xt/2060s or to be safe I’d have a 2070s/5700xt.Joystick feels great but if you want to use the appon screen app, make sure you have the USB connection plugged in as well as your display plug of choice. This was purchased at $399. Anything above $430, I think you’ll find better options.I’m overly happy with this monitor. I will update this review if it fails/pixels die within a year.

Allow me to start by stating that this is my first curved, 2K & 144hz monitor, so take what I say with a grain of salt as this is new territory for me. That being said, coming from an older Vizio 27″ @ 60hz, the difference is nothing short of profound. Everything about this monitor is superior. The colors are vibrant, the brightness is a good deal higher which at 300 nit makes it easily viewable in my well lit room. While it’s common sense I know, keep in mind that this is a big monitor once setup and so you’ll want to make sure you have a good amount of distance between you & it, otherwise it may cause eye strain, which is in no way a Con against the monitor itself. The monitor arrived in it’s original “factory” box inside an Amazon plain box, which I appreciated. Gotta keep them porch pirates guessing eh? Once unboxed, I was very pleasantly surprised that every cable you could think of came with the monitor; 1) Power brick 2) HDMI cable 3) Display Port cable & 4) USB Power cable (The monitor has 2 powered USB ports on the back, though I’m not sure if they are just for power or can have your keyboard & mouse plugged in. I’ll have to check that once I get home.) It also comes with an audio 3.5mm jack in the back.As previous reviewers have mentioned, you’ll want/need to adjust the visual settings to your liking. The monitor has an easy to use small dongle on the back to access the monitors features and is very user friendly. I much prefer this dongle over the multiple buttons at the bottom of the other monitors I have owned over the years. There is an RGB light on the back, which was washed out (obviously) in the bright light of mid-day, but I am curious to see how it’ll look in a dark room. This monitor has made it clear my older 1060 6GB is in need of an upgrade as she struggles at 1440p unlike she did at 1080p.A preliminary 2 thumbs up.

First off the product came a day early that was nice. the monitor itself is amazing! i was worried at first because people are talking about running 1ms response time was to dim to even play. took a sec to figure out how to get “fastest mode” to turn on had to turn off freesync and zero latency thought that was odd. however running 1440p and 1 ms response time looks and feels amazing. also run games like metro and division 2. using rtx 2070 and freesync is compatible with nvidia. all in all great monitor for the price.

When I saw these monitors online I was a little wary. I have been fooled in the past about supposedly great monitors with a zillion reviews. I have learned to read the reviews carefully to look for BOT like responses. This product is EXACTLY as advertised. I took a chance and bought 3 of them. (make sure to get the right mount to handle them.)Right out of the box these were easy to set up and totally user friendly. The vivid color, the slim design and the awesome lighting on the back as well. I had no idea there were colored cool looking lights on the back. When people walk into my office and see these giant screens the first thing the say is WOW! Even the tech geeks come in and ask all sorts of questions beyond my experience level. I let them sit down and run their investigation into the monitors and everyone them comes out with a resounding WOW!.I am very happy with these monitors and as of yet I have not found one thing I dislike. I have them all side by side in a curve. I see no “bleed out” of color or brightness on the far edges and they are just as bright as the center. I highly recommend them.

I’ve seen a few subpar reviews on here, mostly minor gripes.Pros: Picture quality is best I’ve seen. I’ve got a 2k 17 inch on my rog strix. This monster is better. The monitor has a long list of options with a really nice menu set up. Everything from cross hairs to enhancements is various types. The ability to move the monitor in in all directions.Cons: RGB lights are nice, just can’t do anything with them. Also, they are dim. I just don’t care.Monster of a monitor.Update: word of advice. Get the HDR version. Same monitor, but with HDR. Worth the additional 50 bucks. Also, enable G-Sync on your pc (Nvidia Control Panel). Then disable adaptive sync on monitor and v sync in game. So far, that’s eliminated most studdering in games. (3090 Ryzen 9 3900x)

So far I have been loving this monitor. At first I was unsure about clicking buy as I read people complaining about flickering, monitor not turning back on from sleep, dead pixels, and other misc complaints. After taking into consideration I work in IT and we order hundreds of monitors a year and have maybe seen one bad monitor out of the box I took a jump on this while on sale. Brightness and colors on monitor are perfect for my viewing. I don’t notice any ghosting coming from my old Samsung 60hz panel. Gsync turned on on first click and has been working flawlessly. No dead pixels. The onscreen crosshairs is a kinda cool feature. Paired with my RTX2070 super this thing looks beautiful playing new games and old and no screen tearing at all with 144hz. The RGB lighting is not noticeable. really. The base stand is solid and allows for tilting and up and down movement. I feel its a pretty good purchase overall. Plus if you do plan on buying take a look at MSI website for addons. I was able to get Monster Hunter World+Iceborne within a couple hours of going through the registration process.

A great premium product for a premium yet competitive price. I paid $419 for this monitor a while back and I have no regrets. It’s a great 1440p monitor with great list of features and amazing performance. The color range allows for a great, vivid display while playing games and viewing web content. The I/O on the back is a nice touch too, cutting down effort required for routing stuff to my PC that doesn’t require high bandwidth or low latency with the 2x USB 2.0 ports, microphone jack for some speakers, and 2 HDMI ports makes switching between PC and Xbox with freesync enabled a breeze. Overall I really enjoy having this monitor and if you’re in the market for a great 1440p 144hz monitor with Freesync at a great price, I’d recommend this one.
