I received the Munchkin Milkmakers Belly Mask for Pregnancy Skin Care & Stretch Marks, 3 Sheet Masks.I think it’s a really neat concept. I never knew they made masks for pregnant bumps. I’m currently expecting with my 2nd and fresh into my 3rd trimester (28 weeks). So I had to try these. First of it’s fragrance free for anyone with a sensitive pregnancy nose which is great!The mask material feels like a heavy duty and extremely large moist towelette. It’s very full of the stretch mark serum.I used one so far in summer time with my ac blasting and ceiling fan on in my bedroom after a warm shower to open my pores for my skin to soak up the serum. Brrr it was cold, but I survived lol. I left it on for about 25 mins and the towelette was still very full of moisture. I will say for me, the mask fit oddly over my bump. So not sure I got full coverage all over my sides, but it overlapped some areas.Personally it’s way to soon to tell if it helps with stretch marks or pre existing stretch marks, but it definitely hydrates and left my skin feeling hydrated and in a non greasy or sticky feeling way where my clothes would stick uncomfortably afterwards. So that’s a plus for other women that don’t like that feeling.I also liked that it’s free of phthalates and parabens so I don’t have to be concerned about any of those chemicals seeping into my skin and possibly affecting my unborn child.

My wife and I are expecting twins and at the time she tried this, was between weeks 27-28. So she was certainly showing. Also by this stage she had began developing stretchmarks on the sides of her stomach and lower belly.I had an opportunity to get a mask for her to try and thus asked if she wanted to try something like this to see if she likes the look or feel after usage. So that is the basis on my feedback.Since she had some issues in the past with the doctor saying it was hard to get a good ultrasound reading when she previously applied a lotion to her stomach the night before or day of an appointment, she waited until after one to try this out. She followed the instructions and said right after, things felt nice and smooth. A few days later she looked back and said it did help also with lessening the visibility of her stretchmarks. Also since we are high risk, she had another ultrasound maybe 5 days later with no issues reported to us by the tech or doctor when using the equipment.Granted we still have a ways to go, the stretchmarks will come back and she personally didn’t feel like getting more masks was worth her while to keep up any regimen. Overall she did like it but made the personal choice to not make using these a regular thing for the rest of the pregnancy although she did giver her own personal thumbs up that they seem to work.

This belly mask really makes a difference, it keeps your skin very moisturized. I put it in the freezer before using it and the cooling sensation was amazing especially on a hot day. Highly recommend it.

Definitely felt nice on my growing belly and offered immediate relief to some of the itching I have from incoming stretch marks. The cold felt nice as well. I’m not sure how much it’ll actually reduce the appearance of stretch marks, but it was a nice change from my usual lotion and oil routine!

It’s about time they created a sheet mask for pregnant bellies! I love the idea, and this made a really great gift for my sister who is expecting. First thing we noticed was how saturated the mask is; lots of serum for big bellies! She tried it on her bump, and she couldn’t stop raving about how soothing it made her skin feel and that the itchy tight feeling that was driving her crazy went away. I really appreciate that these are fragrance free, and the ingredient list is pretty simple. The mask is fairly large, and covered my sister’s bump and she is in the 1st week of her first trimester. After she kept it on for 30 minutes, she rubbed the excess in and sealed it in with some almond oil and her skin was absolutely glowing. It’s too soon to tell if it will help prevent stretch marks, but keeping the skin moisturizer will definitely help prevent them. I would highly recommend these to any expectant mothers or as a baby shower gift!

Counter-intuitive I know, but I feel that this time around (second) I have more of an opportunity to focus on self care. With my first pregnancy I was changing jobs, commuting 5x a week, and just grinding at life because I had started at a new company and wanted to make the best impression a 5 month pregnant woman can.Fast-forward to this pregnancy. Prior to the pandemic I went into office 1x a week, currently I’m home every single day now. We also invested in a home gym. So, this time around I feel that I am able to devote myself to more self care even though I am working full time and have a toddler.When I saw belly masks. thought “these are so happening”. I know that genetics are a big factor, but I am determined to continue my streak of no stretch-marks. I felt that a belly mask would not only help with keeping the area moisturized, but also be a great opportunity for me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the pregnancy. I love sheet masks for my face, so I figured why not for my bump!I’m starting early with this set — since I’m showing much earlier, I want to get a head start on taking care of that belly skin! How much this helps with stretch marks I can’t say — again, I think that has a huge genetic component. However, this is such a nice route for a pregnant mama! I feel like I’m taking a mini spa day with the little nugget inside me. The masks are nice — moisturizing and cool on the skin. It definitely hydrates and just feels very cool and relaxing. I’m saving most of these for later into my second trimester and of course into the third. But, overall I’m a fan. I figure, treat yourself, mama!
