two in one plus touchscreen. what else are you expecting for at that price? first time trying Amazon renewed, lovely indeed. I love the concept and the practice of it. yet my renewed DELL has got some scratches still and the keys on board are a bit loosened and typing seems not quite concrete. when you have got a distance from the screen, you rarely will and need to touch the screen but relapsing using traditional mouse to move and shift the cursor…

All this Google Chrome/Chromebook stuff is new to me – when I was in school, Google was barely a search engine. When I started back to college, a small computer that could go to classes with me seemed like a good idea. I’ve worked with Microsoft since ’91 when my family got their first computer with those big 5″+ floppy disks, so switching to a new operating system – even though only while I’m at school – was going to be a change. I spent weeks looking at different Chromebooks online from different sellers trying to decide what would work best for me. I knew I wanted a 2-in-1 Touchscreen (I had one before and I loved it), and I knew I wanted at least 4GB memory. This Dell had that. I was a little leery of it being “Renewed”, but I gotta say, it hasn’t given me a bit of trouble. It’s the perfect size for transporting around campus with a backpack full of books. It has Google Docs and Slides, which I need for school, so that works perfectly for getting my schoolwork done. The 2-in-1 aspect makes it perfect for doing Google Slides presentations because I can set it up like a tent or just hold it in tablet mode and see what I need to say while facing my classmates instead of looking at the screen behind me with my back to the class. It boots up fast and shuts down fast, and unlike the Dell I have for home with MS Windows, it actually connects to the internet at school. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase. (And my mom loves the bubble wrap it came in!)

The Dell chromebook is a HUGE advance over the original Samsung that we had. It’s faster and has been screen quality–but the thing we like the most is that, if you use only a single account, you don’t have to log in every time you use it. You just open the folding screen and you are right where you left off previously. The touch-screen is also a great improvement, and the fold-back keyboard that makes it easier to work on a single surface. The only negative is the weight: it’s probably 4 times as heavy as the original chromebooks. Overall, we love it.

I enjoy using this chromebook. I had to order two, as my first was defective, but the second arrived from the vendor TekZilla working perfectly. I find the battery life amazing, and am always fascinated at how easily my kids can access their school accounts curated exactly as the school admin intends. It’s really easy. It will not work as a server, gaming platform, or family entertainment center, but it’s not supposed too. However, I am a fairly sophisticated user, and I can (and do) figure out how to do most of my computing on a chromebook. Kids love it. Don’t use the play store for things you can do just as well in a browser, utilize cloud and/or flash storage, and your memory usage will be fine.

Since school is closed due to the COVID-19 virus, I decided to get a Chromebook for my daughter. It arrived in perfect condition. The charger was clearly used, with a name written in permanent marker. Not a problem though, as we knew going in that it was refurbished. Keeping up with school work is a little more fun now, and I don’t have to share my laptop. :)She’s had it for a week now with no problems. Everything works well. Haven’t measured battery life, but it seems to last long enough.

These worked out perfectly for my two preschool aged granddaughters to play their games and browse YouTube Kids ®. The sealed keyboard has already proven to be a winner after having a cup of juice dumped on one of them. The touchscreen and voice search are great for young ones that can’t actually type yet. If you are looking for something reasonably priced and durable with great features, look no further.

But I couldn’t afford to buy her a brand new laptop, so I looked on Amazon for refurbished chrome books and there were so many to choose from. I happen to like Dell which is why I chose this one. Gift for my teen. Absolutely love all its features. It’s easy to set up parental controls also Google Family Link is an app you put on your phone and you’re able to see things like screen time, anytime a new app is requested by your child, your phone will get notified for your approval, also you can set every restriction for anything, my oldest and I use apple stuff, but this chrome book has been equally as amazing for syncing purposes.

My old chrome book is still working but I want another to carry around and has touchscreen tablet model. Package and cleanness is quite neat and fits expectation when you go for good refurbished. One thing I can really trust refurbished chome os device is the system is so simple and secure. This particular model is better than my old one all around. Keyboard feels good and tablet model is so cool. IPS screen is really easy on eyes and a must for me. I have got it for a week and battery usually last a little longer than a day. Pretty happy with it.
