helping babies and parents both breathe easier

Baby Girl

oogiebear is a patented and classified medical device. It has two sides, a loop-end perfect for sticky boogers and a scoop end for safely removing dried boogers. This revolutionary tool is made of soft rubber with firm tips that is easy for a parent to hold and gentle enough for a baby. The patented bear-head design is both fun and safe-preventing the oogiebear from going too far into baby’s nose and ears.

Designed with health and safety of my own children in mind, I’m excited to share this nose cleaner tool with other parents who want to make sue their kids are as comfortable as they can be in times of sickness.

For the parents of young children, oogiebear, is the first booger tool that removes both sticky and dried boogers from a child’s nostrils.

Created by mother and Registered Pharmacist, oogiebear was developed with comfort in mind, offering two unique ends to effectively help children breathe easier and soothe them at a time of incredible discomfort.

Cleaning a baby’s nose can be a challenge. Aspirator bulbs are okay for wet mucus, but they’re not effective on… (okay we’ll say it, boogers!) In fact, bulbs can actually push boogers further into the nose, making them even harder to reach. Saline mists can also be effective but who wants to spray a wet mist inside a sleeping baby’s nose in the middle of the night? If your baby is breathing easy and sleeping well… so are you. It is perfect for little ears too!

Doctor Designed | Mom TestedSo, what happens if the boogers can’t be sucked out? oogiebear to the rescue! oogiebear has a loop end that is great for sticky and rubbery boogers and a scoop end for safely removing the dried ones. And the bear head design isn’t just cute- it prevents the oogiebear from going too far into a baby’s nose and ears. Oogiebear make cleaning a baby’s nose and ears fun! (Okay, maybe not fun, but it does work great!)

oogiebear features:

  • Loop end for sticky mucus
  • Scoop end for dried boogers
  • Great for little ears too!
  • Latex, BPA and PVC free
  • More effective than aspirator bulbs, suction tubes and saline sprays
  • Soft rubber coating is slip-free and gentle against skin
  • Patented bear-head design prevents tool from being inserted too deeply

This thing is fantastic for little baby noses and boogers. We bought this for our first son and bought another for our most recent addition and it’s awesome. Babies sneeze and generate boogers, this little thing makes it easy to get in there and snatch it out without harming the babe. Don’t get me wrong, he still doesn’t like us digging in his nose but it gets the job done. This works exceptionally well especially when your little ones nose is too small for the suction things and if you don’t need to be as harsh like with the frida nose. It’s easy to clean and definitely worth the price. I wish it had a little storage container so I could pop it in the diaper bag without a zip lock baggie. But other than that, this is great and I recommend this to all my friends with new babes. Definitely recommend getting more than one, one for home and one for on the go.***if you find my review helpful, please give it a thumbs up***

This thing is amazing, it works very well for us. Good length and it’s soft/firm. I was able to gently scoop my 4 month old ear wax and so picked out her sticky crusty boogers. She enjoys being clean so she sat/laid down very still for us. I would definitely buy this for a baby shower gift and definitely recommend to anyone. Check out the photos, forgot which side I used for the ears and nose, it has easy to read and easy to understand.

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can’t pick your friend’s nose… but you CAN pick your baby’s nose which is a good thing bc our baby’s nose is always full of boogers. She hates it and thrashes her head from side to side wildly to try to avoid it but it works SO WELL. Like talking real grade A class boogies we are getting out of there. If your kid is also a booger mine then you’ll definitely want one of these.

Okay, another tough review for me because this is not a safe thing to use or perform. Please for Heaven’s sake be careful and don’t go digging too deep! You should be able to see the booger on the edge of the nostril; if you have to get a flashlight and/or tilt their head just right; it’s too far. Don’t attempt to get it. Be gentle! These are not soft tips! With that said, I can say this device has come in handy quite a few times. Getting those sticky boogers that are occlusion their airway makes breathing so much easier for them and therefore sleep better longer!

This is so helpful for those tiny ears or tiny nostrils when there’s something right on the edge to get! Definitely recommend

After trying to get a boogie with my nail and scratching my baby girl i came across this online along with the nose frida! Seriously saving us from anymore scratches and boogies!

As a parent you deal with getting disgusting boogers out of your kid’s nose. I lost my NoseFrida on an overseas trip (NOOO) so I looked around for something a bit more portable (my kid also learned how to blow her nose that trip so that was a plus I guess). I’ve tried tweezers before for giant boogers that just won’t come out, but they are sharp and I’m deathly afraid a sudden squirm will make me jam them too far – it’s also hard to get a grip so it takes a lot longer. This thing was oddly effective at digging out the harder boogers she couldn’t blow out, once she let me stick it in her nose, and there’s no fear of accidentally getting it stuck. The tip is still pretty hard so be gentle! I usually do it after a saline spray or steamy bath so it’s easier to get the boogers out (it’s THE WORST when they’re stuck to nose hairs). Best of all, it’s tiny, easy to wash and doesn’t collect mold like the NoseFrida airtube does. I can’t wait until she can just take care of it all by herself but until then, this will serve.

I called this little tool the biggie snatcher. Now disclaimer- your little one won’t be too fond of this, however it gets ALL the boogies I do mean all. My little one didn’t mind it when she was younger 2-6 months. Now when she sees it in my hand (9 months) she starts squirming. I just give her a toy and sing to distract her and that seems to work. This tool is very easy to clean I just use a mild soap and water after each use. Who knew how dirty their little noses could get.

Game. Changer. I came across these when I had my first baby in 2018, but never bought one since I had to draw the line somewhere when it came to baby gadgets. Now I’m expecting my second and I grabbed a couple for myself and one as a baby shower gift for a friend. I didn’t expect I would use it so much!! My daughter has ear infections all the time and I feel like every time we go to the doc they have to take an extra step and scoop wax out of the way so they can see in there better. I was clueless on how to clean them out safely. Cotton swabs are said to be dangerous and make the problem worse by pushing the wax further in so that wasn’t an option. I’ve actually used bobby pins a few times with great success, but now my daughter is older and more fidgety so that idea seems too dangerous. Enter oogie bear. Holy crap. I tried it out one night after bath time. I laid my daughter down and scooped one ear and she stayed totally calm and still. Then I stopped and she still laid there waiting for more. Now every night I say “okay let’s let mama clean your ears” and she lays down on her tummy with her butt in the air and points an ear at me. Super weird, right? Who would have expected their toddler to love having their ears cleaned? And of course it works great on boogers too. Tissues can never get in far enough and it’s a little icky to shove a finger nail up in there. This little thing works great especially for a raging winter cold when they wake up with snot all caked on. A poor little raw, sore nose does not like to be wiped multiple times to get that mess off and this device gets the job done quickly and painlessly – and hygienically assuming you remember to clean it! I do wish the handle was a bit bigger or longer or something simply because I’ve misplaced them a few times already. Do yourself a favor and buy a bunch of them!
