I work in a food processing plant and this case was purchased because of its fully enclosed construction and drop protection. We can’t have broken glass from a iPad screen happen on the production floor. So far it’s great. Apple Pencil works well with it even though it has a thicker screen protector. For my application nothing else was even close to comparison.

I have to say I pretty much love this latch case my iPad isn’t complete without it. I’ve had this for almost 2 years I bought this back in November of 2014. I use this pretty heavily as I need it for when I commute so I can read on the train and when I’m walking in the city. I carry the case 5 days a week. There are small carabiners for the long strap for your shoulder to attach to the latch case. The strap is long enough that you can wrap it around like a messenger bag to your back so it really doesn’t get in the way while carrying. The strap in the back (with Otterbox logo) is pretty comfortable to hold and rotates nicely. The pouch at the bottom is big enough to fit all the accessories that come with it and your iPad charger as well. I don’t use the strap that is used to attach to your leg or the big S carabiner really but I can see the usage for them. I have a

and the small straps that wrap around the corners are flexible and feel solid enough to go around the corners with a big case. I stretch it a bit with the defender case but it holds great. This case is very durable as I’ve had it for a pretty long time. The stitching is starting to unravel a bit on the straps used for the corners of the iPad but it’s not a big concern. If you need to carry your iPad with you for quick access without digging into your bag this is a great latch case for your iPad, it’s honestly the best out there.

Much cheaper than my original. Only issue I have is that the elastic straps that holds the “corner holders” will eventually stretch and not hold as tightly as when new. Kind of expected, so can’t really hold it against them. (Old one still works, but just wanted a new one.)Very sturdy construction, in all other aspects. Plus comes with accessory straps, S-biner clips, and a pouch for them.

Bought as a sample for our building inspectors. The rotating handle on the back works great for their field work, and the neck/shoulder strap keeps them from forgetting it at a job site. Really really tall people may find that strap a little short. Bottom line is we bought one for all of our inspectors.

Otter Box gave a full replacement after I submitted this problem to them so excellent customer service and standing behind there productsWorked great but one of the 4 rubber corner grips broke only after about 5 months of use so not very durable. Not much use for the price!

When my instructors told me I’d have to bring my iPad to Clinical rotations, I thought “WHY?!” Not thinking I’d have a place to set it down, I got this thing. Some girl commented how “OMG it’s LIKE A PURSE!” and I haven’t talked to her since because, no, it’s not. I saw Rainbow on Black-ish had a strap for her Phablet, so I figured “COMEON! SOMEONE HAS TO MAKE ONE FOR AN IPAD!” YES! YES THEY DO!!!I get a lot of compliments on it. The nurses I follow think it’s so adorable. Honestly, when you’re stabbing an old man’s dehydrated vein with an IV and he’s hacking a lung up into your face, putting it on any of the counters in the room just isn’t an option. Needless to say, I just leave my iPad in the room from now on. I hate carrying around files and folders. I feel stupid. Grab your brains and GO!

I purchased this to use at an event since an iPad would need to be used constantly while walking around. This worked well and held up all night. This is only used 1-2 a year, so I’ve probably used it 4-5 times, but it has held up well.

Seeing that there isn’t much of a market for an item such as this, I’m glad that I made this purchase. I use this Utility Strap on my IPad Air (3rd Gen.) in a Otterbox Defender case along with the stand clipped in. Knowing how Otterbox does warranty issues in a quick manner, I can rest easy with this accessory (which is attached to another of their accessories, that’s a adding protection to my iPad).

Definitely worth the $$ if you use your tablet for work. I went rough a few cheaper ones before ponying up for this and I’d do it again for sure. A bit bulky but it’s sturdy and secure and should last longer than 10 of the cheap ones.
