Initial review (2 days use): I’m very impressed with the battery life. Upon receipt, I charged the phone to 100% and 48 hours later I’m at 40%. I use my phone for email, texting, calls, audiobooks, and social media. Processing and switching between apps are fast. Internal storage is great as well. After all contacts, emails, photos, apps, etc. were transferred from my previous phone, I still have 75% of the 64 GB remaining. Any APP I have wanted has been available and quickly and easily loads to the phone. So far, the only potential con: the weight of the phone may be off-putting to some, I personally like it. It’s equivalent to the weight of 2 phones. Absolutely not a big deal, but if you want the lightweight sleek phone this will not work. The weight of the phone tells me this phone can handle a drop or two. I have kids who play on the phone as well, and the sturdiness of this phone gives me a degree of confidence that they can not easily break it. I always carry my phone in the side leg pocket of my pants and this phone fits perfectly in that pocket. The thickness is comparable to a deck of cards (see picture), and the length is equivalent to a typical ball-point pen. My wife has a $700+ phone and I think this one beats hers and was under $180 after taxes. I installed my SIM card from my previous phone in under 5 minutes and was online making calls/texts immediately. I have already recommended another family member check this phone out as they tend to break iPhones on a monthly basis – no way they can break this phone easily. If this phone only had a feature to help me track down the physical locations of telemarketers it would be absolutely perfect!UPDATE: 10 months later – full charged battery still lasts 2 days +, the phone still switches between apps quickly. The only thing I’ve noticed, the videos we take on my wife’s Galaxy seem higher quality than the videos I take on this phone. This could be user error on my part. For under $200, this is a good buy. Super durable. I’ve dropped many times and the phone still looks great.

The best value of any phone I’ve ever purchased. Plenty of memory for all the apps I wanted to download and long lasting battery. I really like the fingerprint ID and the GPS feature. It easily linked up to my GPS drone via wifi. I was impressed that it has the Corning glass face and I didn’t need to purchase a cover to protect it at an additional cost as I have with previous phones.

Only had the phone for couple of days but very happy with it. Setup was extremely easy. I use T-Mobil. I just inserted the sim card and phone started working. It was thicker and heavier than expected. Image and speed are great. I opted to try this phone as I had several other ones and always managed to break them even after adding the security film in the glass. I had I little concern as it is only 4G, but I read that 4G technology will still be used for approx. 10 more years. It is still fast enough for my daily use.

This is a pretty strong cellphone overall compared to many other smart phone on the market. The rugged design is actually just build into the phone so you do not really need any additional casing or anything. This phone is a decent budget android phone that does a pretty good job for your daily task. First thing out of the box is that this thing is a pretty big phone with the additional protection it has. The next thing is that this is an unlocked phone with dual sim card (only have a need for one) and from what I can tell it will work with at least t-mobile and atnt (which is what I have). I do not have verizon but the description is a confusing because it says it will work at the beginning of the description but later it says it does not work so I am confused there. I have not tried it with virgin mobile or cricket so I am unsure if this will work with this phone, but it says it should work with cricket mobile. I did try different sim cards to be sure it is unlocked and it is. There is no locking to a certain sim card or such. It does come with dual sim cards so if you happen to need to have two different numbers on one phone this would work. My work offered to pay for my work line and this makes it so I can just carry one phone (rather than two) while I am working. Due to not being able to travel internationally, I am unsure how it will really work on international sim cards but I assume it should not have an issue. The next thing about this is that the phone does come with a micro sd card slot that you can use to expand the memory if you wanted to (up to 256 gb. Unfortunately I was only able to test it up to 128 gb (highest I had) and I am unsure if it can go higher than 256 GB). It does come with 64 gb on board the phone however that is pretty small compared to many other phones on the market so I would recommend you get a micro SD card. The screen is relatively decent size for a phone of this price. It would be on par with a iphone 12 mini screne size. The picture and video quality is not bad. You can get 1080p out of it and you can watch videos off of it without much issue of lag and such. This device does not come with any screen protector but the screen quality is pretty good. It does not get scratched up too easily which is good. It is will withstand minor scratches but I am unsure how it will really hold up against keys. It has been in and out of my pocket without much issue. The phone does come with three cameras and you get some pretty decent quality pictures. It will give you decent pictures and videos, but not as strong as some of the more expensive phones. It does have a flash option and the flash can also be used as a flash light if needed. The light is not too strong where it is blinding but does help with taking night shots. The CPU and ram make this phone pretty decent for multi-tasking, few games, and some video editing. It runs android 10.0 which is not too far from the newest. It works pretty well and I did try to see if it can be updated but it does not have 11.0 support as of yet. It is a legitimate android OS so you are able to download any app without issue on the google play store as there are times if the device is using an unauthorized version, some applications will not work or can be downloaded. One big feature I thought would not be included in this budgeted phone is the finger print reader and facial scanner. The finger print reader works pretty well and unlocks four out of five times without issue. It usually has a hard time registering my finger from time to time so I have to just type in the password. The facial scanner does work but I opted to turn it off as I wear a mask when I am out so it just does not read my face. I did test it however and it was able to distinguish pretty well. I registered my face and tried to have someone else unlock it and it did not (thanksfully). It does unlock the phone fairly quickly which is good. The overall look of the phone is nice, feels nice, and is pretty strong. I am the type of person that does not drop it however I did accidentally drop it out of my car when I was getting out. The phone was just fine. I would say that short of dropping it on the screen (even though it is temper glass), there should not be much damage. The outer layer can get scratched up but it protects the phone sides and screen pretty well. It has a nice black finish with orange lining (which is unique and makes it easy to spot) and feels pretty nice in my hand. You can game on this if you want and take it on hikes without worrying about damaging the phone. I actually tried some MMO and it ran it pretty well without much issue. It did make the phone a bit warm because I did have brightness on max. The battery life last pretty well with a 8000 mAH battery. It will last a least a full day but it did take some time to calibrate the battery. It took about four to five recharges from dead before the battery lasted a good amount of time. The phone uses a type c charging port to charge this phone. The type c cable is just your generic cable and it does come with a type c to USB adapter. I tried plugging another android phone to this to transfer back ups but had no luck with that. It does however make it easy to charge other phones using this phone which is nice. The cable is a bit on the easy side to fray and break so I opted to use my own cable. It does not have wireless charging from what I can tell. I tried several different charging pads but no luck. It does have pretty decent fast charging speed however. It as able to fully charge in about three hours with some minor uses here and there. You can transfer to this phone but like any android phone I have it has a slow time transferring files from your micro sd card to your PC. Overall I think this phone is a good to have if you are on a budget but want a pretty powerful and protective phone. This phone was actually very surprising on the performance. It does a great job for what I need it to from surfing, to some mobile games, to taking pictures/videos. It is protective but be sure not to drop it directly on the temper glass because that is still easy to damage.

My last smartphone’s battery began to swell, so I ordered a new battery and unfortunately the delicacy of my old phone made prying it open without breakage next to impossible. So, my fault on some level, the screen cracked. My new mission was to find a good, solid phone that had a manageable way to reach the battery, should I ever need to replace it. Many videos and product searches later, I found the OUKITEL WP5 Pro. This had the features and tough build I was looking for, an accessible battery compartment, and comes with Android 10 to boot.I’ve had my new Oukitel WP5 Pro for six weeks now and it performs flawlessly. I stuck it in a HualuBro case which fit my new phone perfectly. Snug as a bug in a rug, as they say.I use the Oukitel WP5 Pro phone daily, letting it charge while I sleep, but even if I forget to plug it in for a couple of nights, it still has enough power to carry me through the following day, no problem. The battery life really rocks.Durable, tough, clean and fat, it’s like the double-stuffed (famous cookie) of smartphones.Delicious.

I have not had this phone long enough to speak of how it holds up over time, but I am very impressed with it so far.It came charged and could not have been much easier to setup… Just put in my sim card (the door is hard to open but there is a tool included to help), isigned into my Google account and waited while it installed my data and apps from a recent backup and checked for updates.The phone is heavier and thicker than I expected but feels solid. Everything including the fingerprint reader works well.After using it the first day to watch videos and play games for 10+ hours I still had 45% of the battery left.The programable button in the side is a handy way to turn on the flashlight &/or open the camera quickly.The camera isn’t amazing but it is more than adequate.About the only thing I could wish for would be a headphone jack but with the difference in price between this and a name brand phone of this quality I can buy a nice set of wireless earbuds and still be ahead!

Bought this for my husband who is a carpenter and always works around dust etc… So far, we are impressed by the battery life, it seems to hold a charge for a good long while throughout the day and we’ll into the evening. It charges up rather quickly as well.We haven’t gotten the chance to check out to see how waterproof it is yet, but I’m sure when we go on vacation this summer we’ll get the chance.It seems to be a well constructed phone and a rather good valueMy husband was impressed with the sound quality and volume..it was far better than his old phone.Pictures are clear and detailed when taken as well, that was important to my husband as well as he takes a lot of before and after pictures of his work.The only con we’ve encountered so far was there was really no manual that came with the phone. Just a small couple of pages that weren’t extremely detailed.But all in all this phone seems to be just what he wanted, of course we haven’t had it a long time yet but so far we are happy.

very great durability,price, specs, and battery. also it is at least $100 cheaper than apple or samsung products of matching specifications(and they won’t have the battery or ruggedness). can use volume button to take pictures underwater, though it’s not really an underwater camera. also.. works well with Visible’s phone service(which uses Verizon) but i did have the SIM card activated before buying this phone.

“You could beat someone to death with this.”That was the first thing I said when I lifted it out of the box.That was the first thing my friend said when I handed it to him.And, that will probably be the first thing my coworker says once quarantine is over.Unlike the video, I have not driven over it, used the display to crack open walnuts, frozen the phone in a block of ice, freed the phone from selfsame ice by chucking it out of a third-floor window, submerged it in boiling water, or buried it in the sand.I have dropped it multiple times, and the freedom from the “OMfG! My phone!!!” mental jolt is indescribable. The ability to continue to stream from YouTube while doing dishes or otherwise cleaning up and not having to worry about water damage is also great. The touchscreen does a fantastic job of working while wet, too.With the gargantuan battery, I either can forget to charge it and still go about my day as usual, or I can play Girls Frontline all day from a full charge. Can’t do both, but let’s don’t be silly.Last-but-definitely-not-least, the humour value when you throw down this super-chonky phone can’t be beat. It weighs like half a kg, so when you throw it down, you throw it DOWN.
