I’ve got a good quality, business class Lenovo laptop, and side-by-side, this screen looks better. It’s the perfect size to stick in my backpack with the laptop to take with me, and have a dual-monitor setup anywhere. I’ve used both a straight USB C-to-USB C cable that came with it (works great) and the HDMI-to-microHDMI cable, and both work well, though with the HDMI you need another cable for power. You can also get adapters that have a USB C connector to connect to a phone, an HDMI out to connect to this device, and extra USB ports to connect something like a game controller – that setup let me play Minecraft on the monitor, from my phone, connected on wifi to a PC and XBox all sharing the same world! Pretty slick – and the sound quality is more than adequate for that. Again, I needed external power (I used a battery phone charger to run both the adapter and the screen), but it worked well.I’ve even plugged it into a smart TV device (think Fire Stick or Android TV box) and used it to watch TV in the bedroom – not as good as a big TV, but fits nicely on a dresser or bookshelf. You do need to think about power for it if you’re using anything other than a laptop with a USB C connector – though any phone charger or extra USB port and a cable with a USB C tip should work.As some reviewers mentioned, the controls aren’t intuitive (the + and – appear in that order, when – then + seems more intuitive given how they work), but they ARE on the front where they’re easy to access and the labels are reasonably easy to see while you use them. There are also competing products that boast a higher brightness level and more color spectrum support, but that doesn’t seem worth the extra expense, as this seems to be one of the least expensive models in the category. I didn’t have any color issues as some reviewers reported – it looked good out of the box, and making adjustments is reasonably simple despite the awkward controls. If I needed one again, I’d buy this one again if it was still the least expensive (as I think it is now) without hesitation.

The screen is more clearer than my laptop. It’s the best purchase I ever made.

I need a 3rd screen to increase productivity. Already had two regular monitors on the desk. So the 3rd has to be a low profile and be able to put on the shelves. This product fits my need perfectly and was quite easy to setup. The monitor itself is very good, one minor thing is the cable come with it made the connection to my PC barely. But I guess you can get a cable fairly easy and cheap in case you run into it.

In my work, I sometimes need to demo to my clients, sometimes need to share the screen in a group discussion. This portable monitor is very convenient for this purpose. This monitor is very sleek, about the size of a surface pro, I can easily stuff it into my backpack with my MacBook Pro. The monitor comes with a case, similar to an iPad case. The case works as a stand when open. Setup is easy and simple, just connect it with HDMI then power up (USB-C), it is working perfectly. The screen is bright, image looks sharp and comfortable. Speaker on the monitor is a plus.In my workspace I have multiple monitors, but this portable monitor comes very handy when travelling. All IT guys will understand how useful this is for coding to have an extended desktop.I have been using this monitor for about week, so far very satisfied. Would like to recommend this product to my friends.

This monitor comes with a nice looking pre-installed case which is handy to protect the screen during travel. In the package, it have one 3A USB-C charger, one USB-C to USB-C cable, one USB-C to USB-A cable and a min-HDMI to HDMI cable. I have been using this monitor for two weeks, no single problem so far.The display is sharp and clear. Color temperature can be adjust in the menu and personally I prefer the SRGB one. I’m not sure if this is a TN or VA panel monitor but the view angle is great. It also has a build in speaker and I found its pretty loud on full volume.Connecting to MacBook Pro is easy peasy. Simply used the included USB-C to USB-C cable and NO extra power charger is needed. MacBook Pro USB-C has enough power to drive the monitor. Make sure to use the first USB-C port(labeled with ss) on the monitor since the second USB-C port is for power charger when connected to other devices. The brightness can be adjusted from the menu and I’m setting it at 80 to match the MacBook Pro.I also tried to connect this monitor to Nintendo Switch during the weekend to play some video games on the go. It comes pretty handy too. Use the HDMI to mini-HDMI cable to connect the Switch dock and the monitor, and a portable gaming system is all set. Mario odyssey was running smoothly and it was fun. When I get time, I’m going to try the monitor on Raspberry PI. Will update later with the result.Overall this monitor stands out with impressive display and quality.

I was recommended this screen someone online. I bought this to have a practical sized screen for gaming with my partner. With just two USB-C 3.1 cables and a power delivery powerbank, I can play my switch with this screen anywhere. It’s easy to unpack and put away.It works seamlessly with my powerbank and Switch. I got the Portable Charger RAVpower 20000mah 60W PD Powerbank to power the switch and the monitor (~$38). I use a usb-C 3.1 cable (got it for free at work) to charge the monitor to be safe. From the monitor, I use another usb-C 3.1 cable (came with the monitor) to charge the switch, and most importantly, for video input. With both the cable being the same type, I don’t have to worry about which usb-C cable is which. With the 20000mah powerbank, I can probably get around 8 hours of play. This is plenty and more than I ever imagined. When I’m at a coffee shop with my buddy, we will play for maybe an hour or so. I don’t need to worry about charging often to power this monitor. This monitor also fits inside of the PowerA messenger bag. If you’re looking for a grab and go solution that is switch themed, I recommend it because the monitor fits in it pretty snug with room for controllers, powerbank, and other accessories. I got it on an amazon sale for $20. See the pictures attached to this review. The monitor and switch accessories will also fit in a simple laptop bag. Before I got my PowerA messenger bag, I was using an old 15.6” laptop bag to hold the monitor and my switch + two controllers.Screen is what you’d expect at this resolution, so no issue there. As a small screen I don’t think it’s a big detail. You can spend more if you’d like a more crisp image. There are three buttons for the menu interface, which is simple. Learn the shortcuts as explained in the paper instruction manual to make life easier. The English isn’t great but it’s not a huge issue. You likely won’t be navigating the menu once you’ve figured out how it works.

I bought this portable monitor for my college student son, he just loves it. He has a Dell laptop, the connection to the monitor is very easy, just connect the top port on the monitor and the HDMI port on the laptop, and the second port on the monitor and a USB port on the laptop for power using the included cables, it is ready to go. There is no need to plug into the AC power. The things my son likes the most are the high quality and functional cover and the slim design. He can put it in his laptop bag and carry it with his laptop anywhere. The quality of the color and brightness is pretty good. It is almost as good as the laptop build-in screen. My son said it improved his productivity a lot. He has recommended to several of his friends already.

Right after I ordered this to help when I visit clients locations my internet provider had issues. So I was forced to move my office to a local grocery coffee shop area for more than two weeks (thanks Frontier! ) and this monitor got a workout. I am impressed. Great resolution, and easy to read text despite the less bright screen (see photo). My late model Acer laptop (ssd & usb-c) apparently from the kinda sketchy Asian to English manual indicated my trouble getting it to work w picture image was because the laptop wasn’t rated for it. But s email to customer support they said just hook-up the HDMI and USB-c & you know it works fine! Two cables not best answer but better than the easily damaged AOC brand port folks complained about.*The case is nice too, its hard material and protects the screen when transporting it and stands up in multiple angles sturdily. This was not the case with a ASUS I tried and returned for that reason. Some have thin non-protective cases like AOC. Note – I had previously ordered a Asus portable screen and the stand part if the case was poorly designed, so much so i returned it before even plugging in.Regarding plugging in – reading manual there is a battery version, but this is not it!I should add that there is a 120 v power adapter. I have only used that briefly otherwise I power through USB-C on laptop. You can supposedly use it with phones, game systems etc.Sound – while not a powerhouse, its fairly clear. So glad I got this. Its handy when I’m working remotely and visiting clients.Minor nitpicky – the manual is vague and poorly written. I have not tried hard but wasn’t obvious how to adjust the monitor settings and I am familiar with other monitors. Should be easier. It is pretty much “generic” you get a box that says something like “portable monitor” with no brand. Its a nice box however, well packed & with all variety of cables included…and the device’s cover is sturdy and protects it as it is a portable solution you’re going to need that IMHO. If you want a name brand to brag about this isn’t it.A plus – the MGF/Seller responds to email and gives support to questions you have, pretty rare to get that kind of response.
