I have tried cheaper wireless, too scared to spend for the better ones and hated them all.The price was decent for a wireless headset and it’s Razerr so I went for it.Comes with dongle and once plugged in it started set up, super easy!Sound is superb for a gaming headset of similar price and cushiony so your ears won’t hurt (especially if you wear glasses)However, I purchase insurance to go with it. I had trouble with a Razer mouse clearly within Razer warranty but I must have emailed these guys 10 plus times in response to the usual “Did you plug it in” but it went further as long to update, reinstall and do a little dance for which they expect a response within a day (Reinstall windows, really?) They wanted a video of the problem but the issue is Synapse stop seeing after months of mystery dumps (In mid game usually).I am still waiting on response, I did 90% of requested hoop jumping EVEN tho problems with synapse are well known. It is clear to me they try to discourage people from getting their warranty. I even updated as lot of my hardware, updated everything, troubleshoot but no go.UPDATE: Razer came through and replace my mouse with a new model since they no longer have my mouse but I am super happy!UPDATe: holding strong almost a year later.

Its comfortable and works as good standard headset. The app is absolute trash. I first used it the day it arrived then the next day I installed the Razer app. All of a sudden the sound breaks up in-game and the mic has issues. The EQ distorts the sound. Don’t turn it on… Just plug it in an use it and you will be happy… don’t install the app.UPDATE: I tracked the issue to a USB port. Performance is poor from a regular USB port. I switch to a USB 2.0 (the blue ones) and the experience is much improved.UPDATE: One ear died and I got a replacement newer version of this device. It’s amazing! Sooo much better than earlier versions of this headset!!!

Note: you HAVE to install the Razer program to unlock the full potential of the headphones.Anyways, Wow. Yes, these are very comfortable and sound fantastic in games and while watching movies. (Some games can sound better with the Razer program)These don’t have RGB lights which is actually a good thing on my end. And it doesn’t have a crazy design too.The mic isn’t too bad too if you’re a gamer/streamer/content creator that don’t want to buy a completely separate mic.I bought these as an Amazon Warehouse item as “acceptable”. It was practically NEW. (Though i cannot guarantee the same quality if someone does the same)Just remember to charge them since they’re wireless!! And they have some crazy range in terms of their wireless connection. You can also use them while they’re charging.I’m glad these were my first headphones choice.

Bought these as I needed some good PC headphones, these fit very well on my head and very comfortable. My only issue is they are very big, and when I leave my office they sometimes bump the side of my doorway. But that can easily be avoided if I just take the headset off. They look and feel premium and they are only 80$. The sound is outstanding, unless your a headphone PROFESSIONAL in which case it won’t matter what set of headphones you get, nothing will ever be enough for your standards. They work great, the noise canceling is decent and have had 0 issues with them. 9/10 would recommend

Great sound, tight bass, clear highs. Both THX and Doby Atmos capable and provides great spatial audio for gaming. I run an a somewhat noisy air purifier in my office and this headset does a great job of cancelling out that noise to the point that I can’t hear it at all. My only critique would be the charging port being micro-usb when USB-C would be preferred, however for the price point, I can overlook that.

Picked this up on a sale and it has been an amazing and frustrating device! I’ll go over all of the things I’ve found out:1. Use a USB 2 port. I have had better luck on it than USB 3 for whatever reason.2. You might need a USB extension cable to place the dongle in a better place to get max wireless range (30-40ft.)3. If everything is installed and windows is not playing sound through the headset, check all of the basics before you uninstall Synapse 3 (use Revo uninstaller and select advanced. Delete all drivers and all remnants of Razer software.) Reinstall after a reboot. You can skip installing Cortex.4. Intel SST will break your audio. If this happens to be the case where you only get sound through Razer Nari and not THX and Razer Nari sounds like crap… Just update the driver for Intel SST USB, and choose it manually. Use the generic Intel HD Audio driver.5. Charge them up completely, and then drain them fully for the first few cycles.6. They get LOUD AS HELL.

Purchased these to replace a wired-headset. As for the surround-sound capability, I’m a bit dubious of that feature, because… after all… it’s a headset, not a set of 7.1 speakers separated by distance. Don’t get it twisted, that is NOT a complaint, simply the observation from a person that think headsets in stereo are “just fine.”Overall, I stoked to be wireless and this headset is a champion, for sound quality and comfort and battery life. The only thing I might recommend, is some cloth over the ear pads. If you live in a warm climate, the gel foam ear cups will get warm (after a while) and you may experience a build-up of perspiration between your skin and the pads. Some type of wicking material, between the ear pads and your skin would help that… again, NOT a complaint, because we would encounter this condition with ALL headsets that include gel pads.

Ive always avoided wireless accessories to eliminate connection issues and batery lives but I buy cheap $20-30 headsets that usually only last a year or two. And I dont like to game with headsets anyway because they hurt my ears after a few hours, but with this headset I was still very comfortable after 8 hours of play time out of the box. The sound is pretty good in most games, and the haptic feedback is very immersive and interesting, I love it. At max volume over the last couple days, I havent had to charge it over 14 hours of playtime, so I believe the 16 hour charge is legit. Theyre just a little quiet but anything can be adjusted in the Synapse app which is really cool to me. I have all Razer accessories and happy to comlete my set with the Nari Essential. Bass is really good, sound quality is fairly clear for the price, I cant think of anything bad to say about it. They are a bit huge on my head but thays nothing sensible to complain about. I don’t understand some peoples negative reviews on this, maybe they got scammed with a fake (its more commom and very lowkey than you might think) but Im very happy with it and if it only last a couple years or so, I will be buying another, but I plan to take very special care of this one, I got a stand for it and would highly recommend if you dont use a stand. It’s aestheticly pleasing and will improve the life of your headset.

I’ve had quite a few different pairs of headphones (expensive and cheap) over the past 20ish years and even though headphones have continually improved over time I really like this pair. They fit my head well, they are light, comfortable, the volume is good, the mic mutes when you flip it up, it connects easily, the connection is really stable send distance is good. I like the crisp audio, and I wasn’t anticipating them to be as good as they are. They are lighter then most and the cups fit over my big ears which makes me happy.

I finally decided I needed a wireless headset. This headset needed to be comfortable, something I can wear for hours, and a good microphone. I’m not a gamer but I am on video conference calls all day. The pads sit nicely against my heard without touching my ears. And it blocks a lot of ambient noise. I had an over the ear headset that did a good job but the comfort was no where in comparison of this set. The microphone is much better than I expected. People on my conference calls have stated that my voice is very clear. The battery lasts longer than I expected. I can go three days without charging. Overall, the Razer Nari Essential is a great headset. I enjoy them so much, I purchased a second set. One for workspace at work and one for my home office when I work remotely.
