The main reason I purchased this phone is I’m very rough handling phones and occasionally they fall from my hand and the screen breaks. I am very pleased with this DOOGEE S96 Pro Rugged smartphone. It is fast and responsive and built like a tuff phone. The most I like this phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128 GB memory for this cost. It’s dual Sim phone and supports 4G. It’s waterproof and has Face/Fingerprint unlocking. It has a Samsung 48 MP AI Main Camera, 20 MP Sony Night Vision camera, Samsung 8 MP wide angle camera, 2 MP macro camera and 16 MP front camera. The photos captured with Night vision camera are too good. The call quality and sound quality is good. It has a 6.22 inch big screen size, the touch screen is fast response and the resolution is good. It has a 6350mAh battery with long battery life. The quality of the photos and video are very good and it works well as a daily use phone. It comes with user manual, charger, USB cable, ear phones and a screen guard. On overall I’m very happy with this phone.

*UPDATE 3/10/2021*DOOGEE contacted me concerning the review I initially left and have made strong attempts to make my experience right. Since I had already returned the phone, I re-ordered the phone and will give it another try. The original phone worked great on my T-Mobile service, it just wouldn’t work on AT&T. It appears the issue is not a DOOGEE problem. It is strictly an AT&T problem. According to DOOGEE, they are talking with AT&T trying to resolve the issues of why some phones are being affected and not others. I am very pleased so far with DOOGEE’s customer service. I will update again with how it goes.*ORIGINAL REVIEW*WILL NOT WORK ON AT&T!I research everything I buy and read tons of reviews before buying. The phone description says it will work on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. The device specs show it is well capable of working on most GSM carriers. I carry 2 phones, one is AT&T and one is T-Mobile. The idea of a dual SIM phone was great to me. I put both of my sims into the phone and T-mobile worked perfectly with full service, 4G-LTE, voice-over LTE and wifi-calling and never stopped working. AT&T showed 4G(not LTE) and initially allowed calls but would never allow texting, data or wifi-calling and completely dropped service after about 30 minutes. I took the AT&T SIM out and put it back into my old phone (LG G5) and my service was completely dead. I called AT&T customer service 2 times for almost 2 hours. I was sent to the local AT&T store for a new SIM card that they said was the problem. I got the new SIM and AT&T refreshed my settings and it still wouldn’t fully work. Like the beginning, it only showed 4G(not LTE) and would only allow calls for a few minutes before completely dropping service. The store rep made sure the AT&T APN settings were correct and they again refreshed their network end. We did this multiple times and each time the AT&T SIM would never obtain full service and would eventually lose service completely. While doing this my T-Mobile SIM never lost service or had any issues. We removed the T-Mobile SIM to check for a conflict and nothing changed. We swapped the SIM cards to the opposite ports to check for a SIM port issue. T-Mobile worked perfect in both SIM ports. AT&T would NOT work in either SIM port. After a 3rd call to customer service after leaving the store that rep told me that recently AT&T was rejecting activation on some phones, even if they were unlocked GSM phones with 4G-LTE and voice-over LTE capability. I put the SIM back into my old phone and they immediately got it working again. All 4 reps told me they had dealt with DOOGEE phones before and one rep said he had actually owned one and loved it. They said they rarely had service issues with them until the recent AT&T changes to stop activating some capable phones. I really loved the device but since it won’t work on AT&T I had to return it.The good:The device itself was awesome. It’s super fast and never lagged or hesitated. The night vision camera was shockingly good. I took it into the dark where I couldn’t see my hand and the camera could see everything. It works just like a game camera with infrared light. The only app that I couldn’t get to work was Pandora. I read that other users cited the same problem. The battery was great. The dual SIM function was easy to use and navigate. The SIM tray has 2 dedicated SIM ports and a dedicated SD card port. My wife’s Motorola One Hyper is a dual SIM but one of the SIMS must use part of the sd card slot, meaning you can’t use a sd card at the same time. It’s built like a tank and even came with a screen protector and a spare. I loved the device itself, but it’s useless if it won’t work on AT&T. I’m very disappointed that I had to return it.

I am very rough on my cell phone . As a matter of fact i’m paying still on a phone I broke a year ago…. But i still have to pay for service monthly since i am in a contract so this time i went for a rugged phone that’s almost impossible to break!!This phone is solid , the frame of the phone is a rugged shell and can outlast dropping and water as it’s waterproof and military grade!! It comes with the screensaver installed and an extra one in the package! I feel way better with him having this phone over any other because it’s so very strong .In the package there was also headphones, and a fast speed charger .I have nothing to say bad about this phone as it’s got a ton of memory at 8 gb ram and 128 gb of rom. The cameras are better than my iphone with a sony 48 mp quad . It even has a sony night vision camera built in. The battery is huge lasting so long before needing a recharge at 6350 mah! It has 4 satellite navigation systems installed so no getting lost.This phone is an android so it allows every app from google play. Runs android 10.0. It was an easy switch i simply placed his aim card from old phone into this unlocked one , nothing else had to be done no he has instant service.This phone is powerful as it’s run on Helio G90. I have seen no other phone at this price point compare . other great feature is the fingerprint access. It’s on the side of the phone. So smart as that’s a convenient and not obvious place to put a fingerprint.We love his new phone and are so pleased with our choice!!

First all I have to say this manufacturer has excellent customer service and support. My first phone arrived with a malfunctioning microphone. I tried many fixes but decided to return. The seller was kind enough to follow up with me regarding my experience and how they can make it better and offered me to try a second phone. I have been using my replacement for two days now it is working perfectly. One thing I will say for everyone setting it up don’t clone your previous phone,for whatever reason it seems to have some configuration problems the two times I tried. Once I started from scratch as far as installing my own apps and not cloning them everything work great. Dark mode also helps battery life immensely. I will update with any other problems or concerns but so far so good. A shout out to Doogee for doing an excellent job. hopefully they will continue to roll out firmware updates to address the little glitches here and there but overall a great tough phone!

I bought this phone mainly for the shock proof because I’m always dropping regular phone and breaking them. This phone dropped from seriously 2 and a half feet and now the screen is totally cracked and broken I need a phone I can rely on due to all the sensitive information, passwords , google codes etc. So maybe I got the one phone that is defective but from this company in order for me to rescind my 1 star rating i’ll need a replacement but i’ll need to keep this phone for the time being due to a new fulltime job and the fact all my codes are on it. Once I receive the replacement phone I will transfer all my data over to it and send the broken one back to you. Or just give me a full refund and once I receive full refund ill send the phone back but I wont be changing my review due to the fact I didn’t get to test a replacement.Edit: The buyer has replaced my phone and the new one is holding up well.

This phone is Really waterproof. I just went swimming with it on vacation. I love the night vision camera it’s very useful. The wireless charging is also a great feature. The phone has only gotten better with there wireless updates . The did have some audio problems when I first got the phone. But they have sent two updates and the phone is almost now perfect. Customer service was super helpful to resolve these issues.

I needed a very durable and high quality phone for a good cost. I can’t rave about this phone enough!! It’s super fast at downloading and processing. Has a very large memory capacity and expandable memory as well. The battery life is awesome I used to have to charge my old Samsung many times throughout the day. This lasts all day with very high usage and I don’t have to recharge it. Love the the wireless charging feature especially for driving. The night vision for camera is a first and super cool. The picture and video quality is great. Sound and calls are Super clear. I use speaker phone a lot and use my phone to listen to music so sound quality means a lot to me this phone has great bass and sound. I Tested the waterproof and let me tell you OMG you can even take a photo! I have never had a better phone at a better price. I have dropped it and not even a scratch. This phone can literally withstand anything. Best phone hands down and the price is unbeatable. Most top phones nowadays are 1000$ and better this phone has all the features of those top phones for a fraction of the cost. It is also unlocked so you can use on any carrier. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using this phone now for a couple of days and it has fully replaced my old phone with a 4 GB / 64 GB , snapdragon 660 processor and 3500 mAh battery and I can definitely confirm that this is a massive upgrade to my old phone. I’ve always been struggling with the 64 Gb storage there, but with this 128 GB it’s a different world. After (re-)installing all the 260 apps (…) I’m using, there’s still about 100 GB storage free for data, photos and video. I’ve charged the battery last time 48 hours ago and it’s still on 41% and I’m using it every day for many hours. Wired charge is very fast with 24W, but also the wireless charge with 10W is decent. The camera is working good during the day and decent in every other condition and the strong LEDs and IR night-light also helps. The phone is fast and responsive and the screen visibility is even good in direct sunlight. The phone’s software seems to be pretty clean – so no bloatware has been found. My favorite feature, apart that it’s waterproof and rugged, is the additional button which can be used for underwater pictures, videos or other features like screen shots or just turn the phone into a flashlight just by pressing this dedicated button. Phone communication (mic / speaker) was very clear from both ends. It supports my Nano T-Mobile SIM card without changing any setting with 4G and VoLTE.

I’m the customer who tells the cell phone provider, “Just give me the free phone!” And, when that is not available, I’ll say, “Whichever phone is the least expensive is the one I want.” Needless to say, I keep my phones until the provider informs me that the phone is outdated and needs to be upgraded in order to continue to work on their network.This time around, I decided to get something much better and rugged to take with me while I hike, bike, or kayak. The DOOGEE S96 Pro is built for the outdoors. It is military grade with IP68, IP69K, and MTL-810G. It is also waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and it can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -67°F to 158°F. It has a 6.22” Corning Gorilla Glass over the screen. The screen displays 720 x 1520 HD+ and has 270 PPI.But, since I have never shopped around for a phone (especially since I wasn’t getting it through my cell phone provider), I had a lot of questions for the seller. “Will this work on my network?” “If it doesn’t, can I return it?” And, many other questions. The item worked, just like the seller at DOOGEE USA Flagship said it would. What I admire most about the seller, is that he made me feel confident in my purchase and that I had nothing to worry about if the phone did not work; that a simple return would happen (if needed).I get my phone plan through an MVNO (mobile virtual network operators), which are low-cost cell phone providers that piggyback off the major networks. My MVNO works off the T-Mobile network. The DOOGEE S96 Pro works great on it. All I had to do was take my sim card out of my old phone and put it into the side slot on this phone. This was easy!This DOOGEE runs on Helio G90. This means it is very powerful! (CPU: Arm Cortex-A76 plus Cortex-A55 octa-core up to 2.05GHz; GPU: Arm Mali-G76 3EEMC4 with speeds up to 800MHz; up to 64MP camera plus multi-camera support; up to 1TMACs AI Performance; dual 4G SIM, MediaTek TAS and Cat-12 4G LTE modem.) It also runs Android 10 and has 8GB of RAM + 128GB of ROM, which is a lot of room for many apps. It also supports 256GB of extension, although I don’t even think I will ever need that because the RAM and ROM installed seems to be enough for all my apps.This phone is a bit heavier than my old Samsungs and my old LGs , which is probably due to the rugged casing and the 6350mAh built-in large battery. The battery is rated at 12V/2A and supports wireless charging. The battery did come fully charged and it took me two days to use up the power; and, that is only because I was using it a lot just to see what it can do.As an added bonus, this DOOGEE has these rear cameras: a 48MP clear main lens, an 8MP 130° wide range angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It also has a 20MP night vision camera that captures black and white images. The front camera is 16MP.The DOOGEE S96 Pro has dual SIM cards and supports NFC. There are many other features which I have not had a chance to play with yet, but when I do, I will update this review. (It can only get better!)Besides the wall charger, this phone comes with a hand strap, an extra screen protector, 1 wet screen cleaning paper, 1 dry screen cleaning paper, some sort of plastic tool, and wired earphones. (See photo.) These are nice added bonuses.If you need a rugged phone with a lot of power, buy this one. You will not be disappointed.
