My teenage son (age 16) asked for a 144HZ monitor. I searched long and hard, found this one. We all own Samsung cell phones and are happy with them. So, I thought why not give it a try. So glad I did, he loves the size and the slightly curved monitor. Crisp and Sharp images. A good purchase!

I purchased this for approximately $180 as an Amazon Warehouse/Refurbished deal, with “Like New” condition, and I’m happy with my purchase. The parcel came in a timely manner, and was as described – I even had the delightful privilege of peeling off the plastic that comes with new electronics.I bought this to use as an additional monitor. My desktop already has what I call my “gaming monitor,” which is a 144hz TN panel, which also has freesync. It’s great for what it does – gaming – and as I have been getting more into streaming, with creating and editing pictures and video, I figured I would try having a second monitor. I did some research on the different panel types (TN, VA, and IPS) and their variants, with their strengths and weaknesses, and, when I saw this monitor, I figured I would pull the trigger. This monitor utilizes an SVA panel, which is an improvement on standard VA panel technology; it has the same rich color contrast, with even better viewing angles (meaning there is no “color shift” when you’re not looking at the monitor straight on). Samsung’s website advertises this product as “Freesync 2 HDR” which I will take at face value, the colors look good to me, though I have no equipment to measure the accuracy of them. Similarly, the brightness is good, and with the contrast the blacks do look black, and the white really pops.I’ve had the monitor for several days now, and I’m very happy with my experience with it. I notice the difference in colors and contrast when watching shows or editing photos, and I still get the great, smooth experience that 144hz has to offer.If I have one complaint, it is that the monitor has two freesync modes: “standard” and “ultimate”. When I select standard, it has a framerate ceiling of 85hz, while the ultimate allows up to the full 144hz, and, for some games, gave me noticeable “ghosting” issues. These are basically overdrive settings for the monitor to help you fine-tune your gaming experience, and I was kind of bummed to see that the “Standard” setting capped itself at 85hz – I am more disappointed by that than I am of the ghosting.

I Love this Monitor especially for the price and quality it brings to game play. 144Hz fast enough to keep up with Call of Duty Game play which has a lot movement. It has the monitor dot but it gets annoying when your not aiming but hey you might like it. I color quality you can custom to your liking. If not theres other options for color. I would recommend this monitor to friends or family.

1 main reason to buy this: You need high frame rates for gaming. There’s lot’s of cool additions like a display port and 2 hdmi inputs which is a plus but, the wow factor is the 144 hz that it’s capable of. It’s a little on the expensive side but if your trying to make a gaming setup you kinda need to drop the cash or wait until a newer model comes out.

Great photo quality, as well as having many settings and preset modes for many games. And something I really appreciated was 2 hdmi slots since it really helped out with the fact that I do use a pc and a ps4. Originally I had a 27 inch monitor and I saw this one on sale got it thinking it was a 27 inch. But even though I had gotten the wrong size, it didn’t matter because I really liked the new size of 24. And one thing to really appreciate is the fact it only take like 3 minutes to put together.

I suggest disable FreeSync (in monitor), VRR and manually config the 120hz for smoother experience (144hz default causes ghosting)

My husband and I play GW2 and it was his turn for a new monitor. I wanted to get him the one I have since he likes it, but it wasn’t available. I got this one instead and it is beautiful. No complaints.

I needed a quality budget gaming monitor with a known name for my Xbox Series X. I did some research and this had the least negative reviews, I was leaning towards the Pixio but seeing dead pixels and other issues with customer service I pulled the trigger on this Samsung CRG50 24”.I had this monitor for a day and with over 5 hours on it and I was truly impressed with this 24” monitor.With a very intuitive UI for adjustments it has several selections for the type of games you are playing and the color range is impressive.The only drawback like most reviewers did on the 24” is the absence to mount this on a monitor arm/bracket like the 27”-32” has.Since this should be a standard it was a big disappointment about this monitor.I will follow up in 30 days to see how it holds up.Initially I would recommend this monitor since the new generation of HDMI 2.1 are too costly this will hold you over till those new monitors come out and drop in price.6/13/21Alright I had this monitor for two months and been playing games on it and played a few movies on this great monitor solely on the Xbox Series X and no issues and this monitor is still working fine. No complaints at all.If you are looking for a budget monitor from a big name company like Samsung I highly recommend this monitor for folks on a budget but still has the performance for the new gen consoles this is the monitor for you.

Pros: 144hz and curved you can’t say anything else. Easy on chancing the setting do to the joystick on the back of the monitor.Cons: I like every about the monitor except that you can’t mount it up. There’s no monitoring holes on the back of the monitor.
