Took a couple of hours to tweak to get just perfect. But it’s beautiful once all was done. Easy set up and easy setup functions. Picture is great. Sound is great (running through sound bar – Yamaha). Sound out of tv is loud enough but needs bass. Picture is crisp and clear. Colors are vivid and accurate. This tv is a 5/5. Not sure what all the negative reviews are talking about. This tv is great!2 weeks later: a bit more tweaking and the picture is superb! Vibrancy, color, detail, brightness, depth all fantastic. Even sound directly through tv isn’t bad. Still using sound bar for a bit more bass, but that’s just my own preference.

This tv is awesome. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews because every new model of electronics will have issues.QLED color spectrum: just incredible. It makes every color simply pop! I was watching ER from 1994 and man, a show that’s 15 years old looks like it was filmed only a couple months ago. Remember if you’re going to watch a disc, you’ll need a 4K/UHD Blu-ray player to get the most out of your tv.Software: remember when to download the most recent update from Samsung to your tv. It’s just like an iPhone, if you don’t update it may run slow or buggy. One thing I also did was uninstall then reinstall the apps so they were up to date. Worst case, because your tv is an actual computer, if it freezes (which mine has a couple of times), just press/hold the power button on the remote and it’ll reboot your tv. If you just press the power button with no hold, it more or less puts the tv in standby.Edgelit vs Backlit: I was a little worried when I saw the bleeding on a couple of screens due to edge lighting vs back lighting, but honestly I think those customers just got a lemon. It happens. Nothing anyone can do about it. I have no bleeding on my screen and the picture is absolutely stunning when viewing a 4K Blu-ray movie.Remote: the remote is universal for all Samsung products connected to the tv. As soon as I turned the tv on the sound bar and 4K Blu-ray player were immediately recognized and everything seemed to sync up. So awesome and time saving.Ambient Mode: I haven’t really played with this too much. I mean I could have my tv on with cool pictures, but I honestly don’t care. When I’m done watching I just turn it off.Overall I think this is an amazing find. The only thing I wish it had were more HDMI ports. 5 or 6 should be the new standard. Anyway, buy this tv, you honestly won’t regret it!!!

In the past I havent had much luck with buying opened boxed items (bought a Samsung monitor and it came with a bunch of pixels burnt out), so I was a little apprehensive with this purchase. However, with the chance to save $500 I decided to go ahead and give it another try. When the TV arrived the outside of the box was a little damaged but that is to be expected as it was sent from CA to AL. Yet, when I unboxed the TV it appeared that the TV had never been previously removed from the box as it was in impeccable condition. After setting it up and turning it on, I was overjoyed to see that there were no issues with the tv and its pixels. Additionally, previous reviews said that the built in app system didn’t work well (I thought I might have to plug in my firestick to watch things), but it works great with no issues watching Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Video. In all, Im glad I bought this TV from Video and Audio Center.

The delivery came 90 minutes early. The setup instructions were clear. I mounted it on the wall using a single ARC HDMI connection to a Samsung soundbar. The electronic setup was easy- the prompts were intuitive and the process was easy. After setup, the TV remote also controlled the soundbar and Blu Ray.The 4k content from Netflix looks awesome. The 1080 content from all sources looks good. I wish there was more 4k content.I followed instructions to integrate Alexa and Ring. It worked immediately. I can ask Alexa to show the Ring doorbell view on the TV.I cut the cable cord with this purchase via YouTube TV. I connected it to the Internet via an Ethernet cable to my router. All of the connections worked the first time out.

This review is for the Samsung QLED Q70T 65”. Had a Samsung 55” for almost 20 years and it still works. We researched for many days and weeks and kept coming back to this model. Delivered as promised, packed very well in original carton. I wrestled it inside the house, but had to call my brother for help getting it out of carton and to place on TV stand. Was afraid I would damage it by myself. So easy to set up. Only took a few minutes. Ordered a sound bar to go with it and the TV recognized it immediately. Alexa was also recognized. Just had to enter a code from the app. We love how Smart this unit is. Very easy to access Prime Video, Netflix or any other service you may have. The remote control is not like anything we have ever used, but after using it a couple time I wondered why did it take so long for a remote so simple. Picture is great. We tried the sound before hooking the sound bar and it was not bad at all. For the money you can feel comfortable ordering this TV. I feel bad for those that had issues and gave a bad review but we are very pleased with this purchase. Have used for several weeks. No problems at all.

So, BLUF- 55″ Q70T Model 2020Pros–Great Picture (not as bright as some other TV’s for the price)-QLED is still my pick for color and picture longevity-VRR is great for PC gaming and works well with Nvidia Cards to make 4K gaming smooth and enjoyable (Using a 2080Ti curently)-Auto up scaling works great to enhance image-Motion is smooth on fast action scenes and can be adjusted to taste if sensitive to flicker/shudder-Smart features are well put together and as fast if not faster than a 4K Fire TVCons–No local dimming. May be noticeable in dark environments or with dark images and really bright back-lighting setting (don’t notice unless you look for it, but if it bothers you its there)-Uses connectors at back of TV instead of external link like higher end models (just more cables to run to back of TV)-Build quality has dropped for this level of TV, backing is all plastic everywhere. In 2012 this tier of TV had an all metal backing and removable processing board for upgrades. All in all great TV for what I wanted it for (TV scale gaming from my computer to utilize G-sync features), others may be cheaper or brighter, but I am very brand loyal as I have had other Samsung TV’s for 10 years or more that work amazing still to this day. I will update as I own on any issues, problems with this TV.

Upgraded to this TV and I’m very happy. Easy setup and looks great. The Smart Features are good but some issues with Hulu (have to reset TV almost every time I use Hulu). Seems like this is a common complaint. I moved up from a 1080 TV and really impressed with the picture. I was worried about the sound since I’m not using an external audio source but I think it works great. A definite upgrade from my previous TV.

Short VersionThe PlayStation 5 has many enhancements and advantages over the PlayStation 4, but you need a TV or monitor capable of displaying them–this TV does.Long VersionThe PlayStation 5 can run games in 4K resolution at 120 FPS, but most mid-range 4K TVs only have a native 60 Hz refresh rate, meaning they cannot display games any higher than 60 FPS (Hz = FPS = frame rate). Most brands have a “made up” frame rate with an impressive-sounding name like “motion rate” or “cinerate” or some nonsense like that followed by an “misleading” number (usually at least TWICE the native refresh rate). This is because the TV’s image processing will by default add extra frames between the source frames to solve technical issues like flicker, the tendency for high frame rates to induce motion sickness, low frame rate of the video source, etc. This isn’t terrible for television or films. It arguably improves the viewing experience. But for video games that can display high refresh rates, it is a problem. If your TV is rated “motion rate 120” your game console can only output 60 FPS to the TV. The TV may process it and insert extra frames, but you won’t get the true 120 FPS the console can provide. What you will get is 60 FPS that is then adulterated by the TV’s image processing. This may even introduce lag to the image, putting the actual game and the display oh-so-slightly out of sync. If you’re paying $500 for a game console, you’re wasting all of its high-tech, modern advantages by playing on a 60 Hz TV, even if the TV has a “motion rate” of 120 or higher. You could have skipped the hassle and price of upgrading the game console. All of this is to say, unless your TV’s refresh rate is listed as “native 120 Hz” or higher you will not get 120 FPS from a game console. Having the refresh rate described as “motion rate X” is a clue that this will not display video games optimally. This TV is 120 Hz.

So far I am very happy with my choice. Very easy to set up. My Bose soundbar and PS4 work well with this TV.I did purchase the 4-year warranty with this one. Crashed and burned with Vizo never again.Watching Supernatural it’s like they were right there in the room with you.I am enjoying the Ambient modeThe only thing is I wish you can change Bixbys Wake word I would like to just say Bixby instead of Hi Bixby every time.So far this has been a smart purchase
