Looks great functions great, couldn’t be more pleased for the money. Some reviews talked about dead pixels and cracked screens, but mine is in perfect condition and is true 144hz. One thing I will say, don’t waste your time with the included screw driver. Kind of them to include it but get something a little heftier. Included DP cable works nicely though.

*new review 3/16/19* After building a new Ryzen machine, it seems the flickering is gone. I have no idea what the cause was. I have a feeling it was something to do with my older z77 build. Everything is butter smooth on my new build, no more flickering lines when scrolling through webpages and no more display port flickering. 5 Stars from me.Wife purchased for me for Christmas. Let me tell you something. I have never used Freesync. I have never used 144hz. I played for 2 hours on CS:GO before I realized Freesync was not enabled, and had to be enabled in the monitor settings. Once I enabled Freesync on the monitor, Radeon drivers immediately detected Freesync, the screen flashed, and before my eyes OH MY SDLKFHSDF. Freesync is amazing as long as you are in the 48hz – 144hz range. Seriously. I came from a 23″ TN panel aaaaaaaand the colors blows it away. This VA panel has viewing angles and colors that rival my ASUS IPS panel in my daughters room.I did try lowering the bottom end of the Freesync range with CRU. I did successfully get to 40hz on the desktop, and for about 20 minutes in game. Then my Radeon driver crashed, so it’s probably safe to say I could get 42hz out of it without issue, but I just put it back.I do have a gripe though. I am on DP, and I am noticing a slight flicker as I scroll through webpages on rows of text. It’s like a solid line slashes through the middle of text. Now this could be ghosting or something to do with the refresh rate and I am going to knock a star off. But, for the money, this monitor is mint. I will be ordering a second as well.

I got this monitor after returning an MSI Optix monitor for the fact that it had so much flashlighting on the the edges all the way around that I couldn’t even play anything on it. The price for this 144hz curved 1080p monitor is insane and while you may be afraid to try a lesser known brand, trust me it’s fantastic. the blacks are darker and deeper than my benq and there is virtually no flashlighting issues. 144hz looks gorgeous and rts mode makes the picture really pop so i can see everything ( i play starcraft 2). Overall, great, no complaints, definitely recommend

Great monitor for the price right when I plugged in the display port it came with I was off playing at 144hz with great picture monitor even has a tiny speaker but it’s not good what so ever so don’t buy this if you don’t have a speaker for your desktop when I turned it on the picture was pretty foggy compared to my 60 hz lg monitor but when I turned the pc to 144hz the colors looked better and it was smooth as butter for web browsing gaming and that 1ms response times is really great overall a good monitor

Ive had this monitor for 2 months and ive loved every minute of it, the picture quality is top notch, it arrived with no dead pixels. The audio quality of the speakers is nothing to write home about, id reccomend using headphones or plugging in other speakers. With the new nvidia update you can now use adaptive sync with this monitor and it has worked flawlessly for any game ive tried with it.

Title says it all, I have mine running at 2k upscaled right now and it looks fantastic. I never thought that the whole FreeSync thing was a big deal but it makes a HUGE difference in games that don’t always hit the 144hz mark, really smoothes out the image. As far as I’m concerned I’ll definitely be buying another one soon.

The Spectre C248B is an excellent monitor for the price. I was skeptical about buying this monitor because the reviews for it were a mixed bag. However, nearly all gaming monitors on Amazon within the price range $120 – $140 price range appear to have very mixed reviews, so I decided to gamble on this monitor. The result was a great monitor that performs exactly how you would expect it to given its specs and pricing. The monitor arrives with everything you need to set it up including a screwdriver, so there is nothing you need to purchase for set up. The curve of the monitor yields for a slightly more immersive gaming experience, but not enough to be a major selling point. The picture quality is vibrant and clear with no visible pixels, and 144hz provides a high performance gaming experience that is certainly more noticeable if coming form a lower Hz setting such as 60 or 75.A few tips to ensure you get the best out of this monitor:1) Use an HDMI 2.0 or higher, a display port, or a Dual Link DVI-D port for your GPU to monitor connection (a display port is included in the box), as it is necessary for 144Hz.2) Make sure you manually change the refresh rate of you monitor to 144Hz in the advanced display settings for Wndows.3) Enable FreeSync in the monitor settings if using an AMD Radeon GPU.4) Enable FreeSync, Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Image Sharpening, and Radeon Enhanced Sync in the AMD Radeon Software for your GPU if applicable.5) Update to the graphics settings of your games to accommodate your new monitor.6) Make sure you opt for the monitor to arrive in Amazon packing during checkout to ensure your monitor is protected during shipping.

This is a gorgeous 144hz monitor which is $50+ cheaper than anything you’ll find elsewhere. The curved display takes some getting used to at first but now the screen looks completely natural to me. The speakers on the monitor are decently loud and are actually louder than the speakers on my last monitor. 144hz is buttery smooth and you can notice the difference just by moving the cursor across the screen. One thing of note is that when I first hooked the monitor all up the refresh rate was still at 60hz and I had to manually go into advanced display settings in Windows and set it to 144hz, so if you get this monitor and don’t notice a difference right away check that it’s actually set to the highest it can be.

I absolutely love this monitor! It is a premium product with out the premium price! 180$?! It’s an absolute steal, the stand is solid, and the panel is flawless. Mine came with a display port cable as well as all the hardware and tools… yes I said tools! This thing comes with a freaking screw driver to assemble it with!Definitely buy one if you interested in 144hz gaming!(No this is not a paid review)

I love this monitor! My boyfriend got his last year and I loved it so much that I got my own! There are some small issues though. First, when I received it, it didn’t come in a typical Amazon box, which covers what the product is! The first picture shows how it was left in the middle of my porch. When I got home I was able to see what it was from a few houses down. Thankfully I live in a very safe neighborhood where we have security cars going around to make there theft never happens, but if i had lived in my old house a few streets down, it definitely would’ve been stolen! That is a major issue as not everyone has that type of security in their Neighborhoods. I’ve had TVs and monitors stolen due to this very issue and I hope that, by bringing this up, hopefully this is an issue that can be resolved! Second, the first few times I turned my PC on, some weird stuff happened. The first one was all the monitor settings suddenly went to 0, so everything was black and white. I don’t know what happened, but all the settings just went to 0 whilst it was on. The second one was the monitor said it was on, but the screen was black. I just pressed windows+shift+C and the picture came back. The sleep mode screen was flashing some testing stuff too?? I really don’t understand. But they are very very simple mistakes. Very easy to fix. love it!
