I’ve used this now 5-6 times to wash our newborn. Setting it up initially was straightforward. I love that I can convert from newborn to toddler to…bigger toddler(?) easily.I put this in our walk in shower and pre-fill the tub with a few inches of warm/hot water, then put my baby in the seat. Even though he squirms a little bit at first, there’s never a risk of him slipping out. Even though he’s basically suspended on a net, it’s very secure.I wouldn’t recommend this for a sink, because it absolutely won’t fit in a sink. It would probably fit in most tubs. The only drawback is that it is quite bulky/large, which could be annoying for storage. We happen to have two bathrooms and store it in the one we don’t use frequently.

I bought this sink bather instead of the flower one because the L shape appealed to me. I like that baby would have support. Turns out I had a preemie and this is the most perfect thing for her! she’s nice and snug in it!

I love this bathtub. I went through two others before I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a go. I am still using the sling at this stage and its worked nicely! It’s a really cute tub concept as well with the whale tail shape. I agree with other reviewers that there is a warning sticker on the inside of the tub that starts to peel off after getting water on it, little blue bits in the water for the first few weeks of use. Now there is just a somewhat sticky of a residue that hairs stick to etc. They should put the warning label on the outside perhaps, where you would see it anyway.

Does your kid scream every time you try and clean him? Mine did. Here I am just trying to freshen him up and make him smell like a tiny lavender angel and he just screams like I’ve dumped him in the ocean to fend for himself. He hated the plastic tubs. He loves this thing. It cradles him and he just kinda Zens out as soon as his butt hits warm water. Tip: flip it over in the water to warm the top so your baby’s butt never knows the arctic cold of a slightly damp whale cushion from last bath. I found this out the hard way. Little man showed his displeasure but I learned my lesson and get it nice and toasty now. He approves.

I previously had a different infant tub. The sling fell too low and my daughters back would be resting on the top of the back rest for the “infant” stage, which is why I think most of these “3 stage tubs” are a flop. THIS tub, is NOT a flop! The design is absolutely perfect. She doesn’t slide down, even when the water level is almost to the top of the tub. The mesh is high quality, and the bottom part which you fold up to make into a seat has a foam tube inside, NOT hard plastic. Bath time used to be a disaster. Now she loves it, and it’s all because of this tub. It’s worth the money.

This is the most gentle cushiony way to bathe my infant. We have odd shaped sinks so instead, I use this in the bath tub with a small amount of water and I place something under the head of the bather to prop it a bit. I use a wash cloth over the babies body to keep him warm. It cradles him and he loves it!

I love this bath but have a terrible sticker drive me crazy, 🤪 but I used a hair dryer hot air on the adhesive inside the bath for 3 minutes and then just take it off completely, and if the glue does not come off, use kitchen vegetable oil , put some oil on the cotton and then go passing for a few minutes until it disappears completely. sorry about my bad English I’m just trying to help with the annoying sticker.

We have a newborn and absolutely love this tub for her. The sling supports her perfectly. The size of this tub is perfect, big enough that my 3 year old fit in it (when he insisted on trying it out) but small/compact enough that its not obnoxious to store….if you have a standard size bathtub, there is plenty of room to hang this on a suction hook inside the tub to store (and this skip hop tub has its own storage hook to make this simple to do).This is the fourth baby bath that we have owned/tried and it’s hands down our favorite. I have no complaints, absolutely love it!!

So far so good! Had our first real bath and newborn seems to love it. Baby was so comfortable he fell asleep. Haven’t noticed any smell mentioned in some of the other reviews, but will update review if necessary. Had to lift the tub a bit for the drain to work. The hook to hang dry the tub is super convenient. Little one is 2 weeks old and about 7lbs 15oz, 21 inches. He did slide down initially causing his feet to be closer to the edge of the tub, but could rest in the sling unassisted while being washed. The sling is also very easy to remove and put back on. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR NEWBORNS. Had trouble finding something with the right amount of incline and support. Also, if your little one’s belly is still healing, we were able to keep baby’s belly button as dry as it stays during his sponge baths.
