How we got our start?
From humble beginnings in the basement of David Swann’s family home in Melbourne, Australia the security camera business now has offices in the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Hong Kong and China and a presence in over 40 countries on 6 continents.

i have had alot of security camra systems and this one is by far the best. good quality and easy to use and setup. literally just plug and play. great picture quality at 1080p and the night vision is perfect with incredible range and clarity. grant it running all the wires for a wired system is a pain but the picture quality is far superior to a wireless and there is no lag/delay in the video like a wireless. you still got a run wires for a wireless for power so might as well go all the way in running for wire system is definitely worth it. if u get one get Swann. mobile app works great and u can call tech support anytime. never needed them but the option was there.

installation was very easy Much better system than my previous Swann 8 channel system . cameras are much better hands down. installed app on my phone in minutes and easy to navigate. I’m very satisfied with this system.

I had a SWANN system for over 5 years and it finally went out. I took the opportunity to upgrade to newer cameras with better resolution. I am very happy. Picture is good and the App installs with no headaches. I tried a ZOSI system and it was junk. I could never get the app to work and there is literally no customer support. Buy Swann

First impression is very good. I read reviews on many security camera systems. It seems like many people write reviews and hate them based on user error. I decided to look at app ratings instead of Amazon or searched reviews as I will always be using the app. The Swann app has great reviews, and along with a recommendation from a trusted friend I bought this system. I pretested everything and I was very pleased that everything work with no fussing around. This is a cheap system….easy to install, and easy to use. I will definitely change this review if this thing acts up in the future, but so far I’m impressed!

I had a Swann DVR that was about 10 years old that finally gave it up. Contacted Swann and the rep said I would have to buy a whole new unit with new cameras because my system was so outdated. I hooked up the new DVR and thought I would just connect my old cameras to see if they would work with the new unit after all. Yep, sure did. So I guess I have 8 new cameras that will be used as replacements for my 10 year old cameras as they fail. Picture quality is AMAZING! Even with my old cameras! And the new Swann Security app is super easy and nice to view on my phone.

Being the low amount of reviews I was a little skeptical but bought it anyways. Glad I did! Took a bit to install, about 3 hours, start to finish. Once the cameras were pointed correctly the night vision works good. The 2 megapixel cameras are great. Setting up the dvr was straight forward. Install the app on your phone, connect the dvr to internet, scan the barcode and boom, 8 cameras on my S5 active (yeah, it’s old but app works great) from anywhere in the world. It’s my first system but I would definitely start with Swann for my next.

This is a great kit for the price. Most kits with 8 cameras and dvr run for $600+ and a lot of them are brands I’ve never heard of. Previously I had a kit from Bunker Hill and it was just ok. The picture was pretty grainy and the color sucked. The picture on these is great, night vision works good, the only complaint I have is that I haven’t been able to view remotely due to not being able to set up through the app. The app asks to either scan a code on the camera or type in the number. There is no code on the individual cameras, and the number does not have enough digits. So I need to call and get that fixed. Other than that I’m very happy overall with these camers, the color and quality is very clear and setup was easy. I will update if I get them setup for remote viewing.

Had to buy this second swan security system as the first got a lightning spike that zapped it,the dvr,cable,modem and phone. It was hooked to modem for phone app and got cooked. This one is 1080 vs the 5 megapixel I had,but it has more of a fish eye view which covers a much larger area,which is great.still crystal clear with a 24 inch monitor.
