Exactly as described. Sturdy and well weighted. Fabulous help for a (temporarily) bedridden senior citizen with one arm in a cast! It holds her ipad steady and at a comfortable angle so she can play games, answer email and read – whether in bed or in a chair. And it doesn’t tip over and hit her face like the pillow tablet holder did! We can prop pillows on one side to support her broken limb and still position the stand perfectly. The ipad doesn’t move even when typing. It also folds into a small package and is easily transported from room to room. We have had no problem with the ipad being hurt. We did change the ipad cover to a hard shell just in case. One concern was this would not be big enough for a larger person. But it was! A plus size member of the family used it one evening and said it was great. She had no problem fitting it over her lower body while seated on the couch and her pad was positioned perfectly. This stand worked for a size 10 belly and a size 4x belly! Great product! I know the Christmas gifts I am giving this year!

This is exzactly what I needed! And apparently everyone else in my home now too! All the other tablet stands we have purchased were so rigid, cheap or were only good in one or two positions! This one can form to any position I’d like it too it’s so flexible, yet very stable, it will stay where you finally get it perfectly adjusted to be! The base that holds the tablet can be angled along with the legs as well that was when I started to proclaim its true awesomeness. It does take a few tries to “mold” it right where u want it though due to so many moving parts to adjust. And I thought I should add that I did buy this with my own money for full price

I had high hopes when I saw this item on amazon and couldn’t wait until it arrived. I was not disappointed. I am a senior citizen that has health issues and most importantly shoulder and arm pains that have been aggravated by the long daily use of my iPad. This was God sent. It works perfectly. It is extremely sturdy, it is so flexible that it can be moved to the perfect location between pillows and beddings for a comfortable view of your iPad. And what is so cool is that when you type (emails etc) you can lean your hands against or on the front legs so there is no pain holding your hands up. Oh and it has a hole in the middle so that you can hook up your charger wire when your battery gets low. Love it love it love it. My friends and I still laugh at the reviewer who got scared and had to return it because it looked like a giant spider in the night. This can be quickly folded and put away. I think someone is watching too many scary movies. And by the way being able to fold the whole thing back down to its original size makes it easy to take with me when I go visit someone and want to use it on their recliner. I will soon order more as they will be perfect unusual holiday gifts for friends and family.

Absolutely one of the best products I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. Our daughter has cancer and is in the the hospital a lot and in bed. This has product has been a life saver. Also every nurse and hospital employee that comes in our room asks about this product. Wish I were selling these things every time I get asked about it!

Ok- WOW!! I purchased this from Amazon for my 8 and 11 year olds for their iPad Air’s which are incased in a Beetle Defense case. They fit PERFECTLY with (I don’t believe) a lot of pressure on the actual iPad. I’ve seen reviews where people have commented that their iPads have shattered from this product, and it makes me think that if you have to really force the bungi cord over the iPad/case, that yes, you are going to compromise the iPad inside, which is not so good. Our combination seems to fit perfectly. I layed on the couch and was even able to play Minecraft comfortably with no hand discomfort (I’m 50. LOL!) Really well made and packaged nicely too. You really should get one. 😀

I’m bedbound with a progressive illness, and needed a stand that would allow me to use my tablet (a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014) comfortably in bed. I previously used one of the clamp based stands that clamps onto something by the bed and then bends over at whatever angle you like. It worked well for awhile, but parts of it kept breaking, and it was simply too expensive to replace.The Tablift works almost perfectly for my needs. In particular, I love the ability to have the tablet held securely at a downward-facing angle. While the holder part has three pre-set angles to choose from, by angling/spreading the legs differently you can choose any angle you like. The stand is fairly stable as long as you’re careful to keep the legs spread far enough apart. Since I need mine to stand on a pillow on my lap, I have occasionally not had the legs far enough apart and fallen asleep, only to be rudely awakened by the tablet falling on my face, but that’s at least partially my own fault. The clip does hold the tablet fairly well, although it will slide out the side if it gets tilted too far that direction. But as long as you position things correctly and keep the stand upright, there’s really no chance of the tablet falling out.This will not work with most – if any – cases, so you will need to take your tablet out of any case it may be in before use. For me I simply leave it that way now and it works out fine. I do wish the tablet could be switched between landscape and portrait mode without having to unclip and reclip the cord, but oh well. It’s not too big of a hassle.Overall, this product is well worth the cost. I tried several other stands prior to this, and this is the one I will use for a long time to come.

I got a scratchNdent from Amazon Warehouse. So the outside box was toast. That didn’t bother the rest.I also bought a zugu case and… it won’t fit. I have to use this caseless but with screen protector. Others mentioned a mark/dent/line on their case. I put a piece of blue painter’s tape along that edge on the back of my tablet, and WHAT MARK?It holds securely. I can moosh the legs around to fit. It does a perfect height when I’m propped up to view my tablet. My thumb bases were actually giving me serious pain and other problems from holding tablet, and now, no problems. I had some surgery scheduled and was going to be bedbound for a while after it so another reason I purchased this… it has been wonderful.Someone mentioned also some black transferred to their bedding. I took the precaution of wiping this down before I used it, and no issues at all. Note that it does sort of outline a certain amount of space and if are extra generously built or of a larger frame, it may not sit clearly above you. My large boned tall spouse, it sits ON him instead of free space like when I use it. We both find it great for sitting on counter and workbench as well, to keep a tablet handy for reference.I have only used it in the top center upright slot, not the leaned back or leaned forward mode. This may assist with not getting a wear/dent/pressure line or scratch.I now have my own private theater, plug in headphones and stream my digital movies, without an issue. While recovering, this was so nice… Definitely a five star purchase, and I am using it with an iPad Pro 12.9″ tablet, so a big one… If legs are deployed to stable it’s not tippy at all. Worth the money.

Great stand for iPad!! I was a little concerned when I saw others saying that it would leave a dent to an iPad Pro. I also received an email from the maker company suggesting using a hard slim case. But I only have a slim crystal clear soft case. It was totally fine! I leave the iPad Pro on the stand for 10 hours without leaving a dent. Would definitely recommend to my friends :))

Each leg can be adjusted independently with a goose neck mechanism. Useful sitting, lying down, adjustable to any position. The legs looked fragile in the picture, but are solid, about half an inch in diameter, and independently adustable. The main weak point is the elastic holder. It is attached to the tablet holder and ends in a simple bracket to hold the tablet in place. The weakness is in the loss of tension if the elastic is stretched. Fortunately, it is possible to install a new elastic holder by looping around the base. There are three slots set at different angles to hold the tablet. They are not wide enough to hold an otterbox defender. I use it constantly at home. On the heavy side to carry in a pack. Most important is the adjustability.

Great little product! I actually reversed the legs and mounted a small cutting board to the bottom with velcro so that I could use as a small desk for my tablet in its folding case or use my small Chromebook on it.
