Bought this to extend the range on the MIghty Mule 371W gate opener remote. The gate opener now works at least 200 ft away, vs a few feet.

I got this to improve the signal from my truck’s Android head unit to my travel trailer’s wifi rear view camera. It does so wonderfully, went from a wildly varying 15-20 fps to a solid 25fps, the camera’s max. It’s far larger than I imagined it would be, I should have gotten a tape and measured where I wanted it, so no points off for that. Ended up having to lay it in the back window unsecured instead of hidden behind trim like I imagined, but after a several hundred mile trip it didn’t move and I don’t see it in normal use of the truck, likely due to the black leather interior matching well.

I cannot believe what a difference this antenna made on my Mighty Mule 371 gate opener. I no longer have to drive up to the gate to get the remote to open the gate. I now can open the gate way before I get to it so the gate is now open when I get there and do not have to wait for it to open. I cannot believe that for the price of these antennas that Mighty Mule cannot use these instead of the little 3 inch inch ones that it comes with. I did however install an extension cable to raise the antenna about 3 feet above where the old antenna installed at and that did not help with the original antenna very much. Also we use the wireless push button code remote for visitors and have had problems since it was installed with it not opening the gate and having to backup the vehicle a couple of feet in order for that unit to work. Now with the new antenna that problem went away and it now works like it should of when installed. I would highly recommend these antennas. I put some epoxy on the bottom of it to keep it from bending back to it straight position and also to keep the rain water from running inside that area. Then once I had it installed I took a small round circular clamp and put it between the antenna base and were it screws in about half on each side and tightened it down to keep the antenna from moving front to back when the winds come up strong.

My monitor was losing the signal every few seconds with a big ‘no signal’ flashing across the monitor screen. I removed the 2″ antenna that came with the camera and replaced it with this, so it is now higher than the back of the trailer. I believe the added roof vent cover was partially the cause as the camera was working before the install. I used a bread tie to prevent the antenna from flopping over and hold it in place. The signal is now on the money and the camera signal is perfect.

Screwed these on my Anran cameras. These things really boost my wireless wifi Anran surveillance cameras. Tried the small little antennas on the 10 foot wire but was kinda a waste of money. Got two more on way. Ya’ll need to try this. What have you got to lose?

This antenna rescued my drone today! I was doing some rewiring and I broke the ipx jack on the drine controller wifi board without realizing it.. lost the drone over some high tension lines, ran to my case.. grabbed this super antenna screwed it on and it connected to the drone from 300ft away with only one wire hooked up!! Thank you! This thing has mega reception when needed for drone controllers.. it was flying out of control and I was on a high rise roof, and this antenna saved it on its first use.

Much longer than the antenna it replaced, but bumped the signal up enough to use my rear view camera on a 30′ camper.

our camera doesn’t drop signal anymore. We added this antenna to the camera and a magnetic 9Db antenna to the monitor. Works much better now. there is about 1/2 second delay which is no big deal.

Moved a IP WiFi Cam to a location just at the otter edge of my Routers range. The small factory antenna would constantly drop the signal for short periods . The new Long antenna at first did not seem to help, but I rebooted the Camera and router the day after the install and that seemed to do the trick. The Cam has now run a week with no more drop outs.

I use these on some of my outdoor WiFi devices so they have better signal at the router. These units from Techtoo always work fine. On the last order they mistakenly sent the SMA female plug; I contacted the seller and they are sending me the correct ones. However from previous experience with the brand I know they work well, that is why I ordered more of them.
