This TV arrived yesterday, fast shipping UPS, box in great shape, well packed and no damage. Ordered this for a bedroom and already have a TV in our living room with a Fire TV box. No problem setting up or connecting to Wifi and our router is on a different floor. Be sure to have your passwords handy, the layout mirrored our other TV, but you will need to download apps like Netflix and Hulu. TV works great, color and sound are fantastic. What took me to most time was to link the TV to my echo device so I included directions below. I discovered you cannot turn the TV on hands-free using the echo unless you refer to the TV as “Fire TV”, not just “TV”. Example “Alexa, turn on Fire TV”. The only small negative I have is the red light at the bottom of the TV stays on when the TV is turned off. Not a big deal except at night in a bedroom if you have a sensitivity to lights when you’re sleeping. I’m just going to put electrical tape over it.We wall mounted ours using the Mounting Dream 26-55 Inch TVs, Full Motion TV Wall Mount MD2413-MX. The 43″ VESA mounting pattern is 400 x 200 and the wall mount screws are M6 x 35 mm. No spacers needed.Directions to link your echo to your Fire TV:https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G7JTYZL789TQJHKV1. Open the Alexa app on your phone.2. Go to the settings menu.3. Select Settings.4. Select TV & Video.5. Select Fire TV.6. Select Link Your Alexa Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

I got this TV for our bedroom, to replace an older one. It’s our habit to turn on the TV as we’re waking up, it is always on the news so only requires hitting the ON button. As I set up the Toshiba Fire TV, I was discouraged to find it always starts up to the Home screen. This meant having to fumble with the remote, sometimes while my eyes were still closed. I even asked the question of solving this in Amazon, and received replies that it was like that. Then I got a reply from Toshiba Service through Best Buy. They said “Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.” It works! And the one tiny feature I didn’t like about this TV is gone. Five Stars!

I decided to get a TV for my bedroom, and after a lot of research between all the 32” TVs with either built-in Fire or Roku, I decided on this one and am so happy I did.I’m a woman of a certain age – old – and am technologically challenge, but setup of this TV was a breeze, starting with clear instructions on how to take it out of the box. (The screen came in a plastic bag with two handles, and it just slid out of the box.) The picture and sound quality are fantastic. There were a lot of questions in the Q&A section about Bluetooth. I got the 2020 version of this TV, and you CAN connect things with Bluetooth. It’s an option in Settings. I connected AirPods, and they work perfectly. Once connected, the speakers on the TV cut off, the remote’s volume control works on the AirPods, and they stayed paired with the TV so I don’t have to go through the process of pairing every time I turn on the TV. Now when I turn the TV on, the TV’s speakers come on until/unless I take my AirPods out of their charging case; if I put them back in while watching, the TV’s speakers automatically kick in. Couldn’t ask for it to work more smoothly!I have a Mohu Leaf Indoor Antenna on order; it was actually supposed to come today, but when I checked my Amazon orders for today’s deliveries, it’d been changed to next Saturday. No biggie; I know the antenna will work because I already bought one for another TV – picked up 147 channels.I added Roku to get Peacock TV which isn’t available on Fire right now. This is where I made a mistake. After doing what I thought was pretty thorough research, I got the Roku Express. Turns out it doesn’t connect to 5GHz, only 2.4 GHz. It seems to be working okay, but I’ve ordered the Roku Streaming Stick+ which will connect to 5GHz. (Those numbers really don’t mean anything to me. I just know 5GHz = good, 2.4GHz = not so good.)The remote for the TV isn’t exactly as pictured; it has a Disney+ dedicated button instead of HBO Max; okay with me. I wish the remote had lighted keys – that’s my only VERY minor complaint. Other than that, the remote is fantastic – so much so that I ordered the 3rd Generation Fire Stick which has the exact same remote to replace my old Fire Stick (and remote) on the living room TV.I started this journey because I got sick of paying $100 a month to Dish when all I basically did was watch local and network news (and Prime TV). I got the Mohu antenna ($40) for my living room TV which took care of the news. This Toshiba TV is just icing on the cake. I was just THINKING about getting it, but when the price dropped by $50 (to $150), I decided to take the plunge. I ended up getting Hulu (no ads) for $12/mo and Peacock TV (no ads) for $10/mo. After the initial cost of all the hardware I bought, I’ll be saving ~$80 a month, so I’ll be coming out ahead in no time. I’ll probably add more channels/apps in the future, but for now I have plenty of new stuff to watch.I wish I had done this long ago, but I didn’t even know it was possible. Dish was going to raise my rates again (by $25/mo) and I’d just had it, so I started checking into things. To give you an idea of how long I’ve been overpaying, my Dish equipment was so old they didn’t even want it back. I feel so much better now that I’m not paying $100 a month to watch the nightly news AND I have an awesome new TV in my bedroom!Update: I’ve had these TVs (I bought two) for two months. Peacock+ is now available on Fire TV, so no need for the Roku stick anymore. My Mohu Leaf antenna is connected, and is working very well; I can change to the antenna output by choosing the option onscreen. I’m still very happy with my purchases.

Really happy with this tv. The “fire remote” is great and the picture and sound is amazing. LOVE having a button to go right to Netflicks, Amazon prime etc……WELL,WELL,WELL worth the money!

This is the perfect TV and perfect to use with Fire Stick. It all works together. Easy to set up. Clear pictures with excellent quality. The cost is well worth it. It’s a Big screen TV for the money. The remote works with the Fire Stick so you don’t need two remotes. I am so happy and in love with this TV. I strongly recommend this purchase.

I read a few reviews that had negative remarks about the legs on this model. I already had an idea of what to expect because I have another, larger, new Toshiba which is very similar to this in style, in the living room. I love the one in the living room so much that I talked myself into buying one for the sunroom, the only problem being that I don’t really have a proper place for it. Since I have wood paneling on the walls, I was reluctant to mount it. I had to work with an old bookshelf that’s relatively narrow. I measured and also discovered that I could buy an aftermarket stand, also on Amazon, if my measurements were off.Not only does it fit perfectly but I really love how it turned out.I attached a photo to show just how narrow the bookshelf is and how the feet are still narrow enough to fit.I’m very pleased again with Toshiba and Amazon…two tv’s that I could unpack and install completely on my own.The only slightly negative is the remote. The ad shows the same remote as my other Toshiba, so I ordered a sleeve {aftermarket} to help grip and I even took special care to double check the remote design before I ordered. Unfortunately, the remote is a completely different design and even length than was shown, so my new sleeve is useless. I did a little more digging and finally saw the actual remote that I got, very obscurely shown. Apparently it’s such a new model tv that these aftermarket companies haven’t designed a sleeve just yet but I’ll keep watching for it.I just wanted to mention it since it’s so misleading.

My birthday is next week so this was a present to myself. When I first turned it on you can see my confused dog who was barking thinking the voice in the room was a burgular. As she got used to it she actually watched TV with us, that’s a first! The first most obvious problem is that it is BIGGER than it looks so we had an immediate problem trying to fit it on the shelf. It balances well and is light weight so here it is on two milk crates looking stunning but you can see the feet are way to the edges. The second problem is that my room suddenly looks like a movie theatre with great sound. My daughter was here until 2AM watching just everything, I never knew all the features could be such fun. I get 78 channels just with my air antennae, so you don’t even need cable. It comes with lots of cool digital app channels and the ability to download games too like Mahjong. I am super happy with it. However, now I have people hanging out in my room and dropping by just to watch it. The remote is sleek and pretty. It feels like a much more expensive unit for sure.

Easy setup. If you’re familiar with fire sticks, you’ll love this tv.
