It took some wiggling at first, as I remember some of my favorite did too back in the day…I absolutely love these jeans. They’re thick and made well! I’m sick of the jeggings out there trying to pass for a jeans. After a few washes the color and material both fade away into nothingness. Ugh! I’ve had these pair for a couple months and they have just taken over the number 1 spot for jeans. Once they’ve settled in they hug in all the right places. 🙂

I like these better than any jeans I have bought in years. They are cotton (not mostly Spandex) and actually feel like jeans. They did shrink a bit in the wash, but it seemed like the size allowed for that. In other words, they fit better/more accurately once washed. Wish they had come in a shorted inseam, but I am having them hemmed; so, that’s not a big issue! I ordered a second pair.

These were an excellent fit!! I am short from the waist to the crotch and these fit perfectly at my waist. I love that they are not stretch jeans. I am 5’2″ and the M length I feel is a little on the short side. Wish I could find them in a long. But, I feel they are being discontinued. Really hard to find.

Purchasing jeans has become as much fun as visiting the dentist. Since most manufacturers have changed to the stretchy jean fabric, it is difficult to find actual “jeans”. I guess I am old fashioned and set in my ways, but a pair of jeans should fit when you put them on and stay that way. The stretchy jeans stretch out and gravity takes over. These Wranglers fit well, stay put and do not turn into clown pants. These are my second purchase. They are as great as my first pair. Unlike Lee jeans, these are consistent in size and quality. I will be purchasing more in the future.

I bought a few of these for my daughter who does ranch work. I had purchased “work” jeans for her previously and they did not hold up even for light work. These seem to fit nicely, look nice, and so far are holding up well. She likes that they do not sit too low and that she can get the 30” length. The pockets are not too small, which is nice also. In other jeans, she has worn an 8, but in these a 6. Check the size chart, you might want to size down.

Was looking for a sturdy pair of jeans. There are very few out there now that are made of real cotton. These jeans fit the bill. I have chosen the Casted Blue Indigo with 99% cotton and 1% spandex (please look at product description since different colors have different material type). And yes, I finally got a pair that feels and wears like the ones you got in earlier days, promising to last a long time even under the toughest challenges. I have attached a picture taken from the back of the materials as a comparison between the Wrangler (left) and a $112 pair of NYD jeans (right).The fit is excellent (true to size), and even if they claim to sit below the waist, they have a nice high back that won’t pull down when sitting. My jeans were made in Mexico with good quality.
Just Me –
So very glad I decided to give these jeans a try, they are the best fitting jeans I’ve had since my last pair of men’s Levi’s 501 shrink to fit from the 1970’s! I’m 61 years old, 5’7″, 190 pounds and wear a regular size 16. While these jeans are slightly snug across the abdomen (the joys of a mature body…not), they fit perfectly in the waist without a gap in the back and are perfect through the hips and thighs. The 30″ length is perfect to wear with low heels and flats/sneakers so I’m not dragging the back of the hem on the ground as I walk. The 1% spandex gives these jeans just enough stretch to allow you to wear the jeans all day in comfort and be able to move freely, yet they don’t feel like you’re wearing plasticky, unbreathable polyester nightmares. I want more! Please get the size 16x30L back in stock soon, Amazon!

I purchased these neans because I needed a pair to wear with western style work boots. I specifically was not looking for tight fitting slimming style jeans that are fashionable these days. These jeans fill the bill. They are a good weight with only a little stretch. They have a good fitting waist (not low rise) with room in the seat. The legs have room and the boot cut fits easily over my boots. Great wear for the cooler rainy months. Will buy again.

Why is it that my husband can walk into any store and pick up his size of jeans and they all fit well, and have roomy pockets, and thick material so they don’t wear out so quickly? I hate to buy women’s jeans any more. You get thin jean material, you have a wide range of sizes, and what I really really get upset over is the size of the pocket. Maybe some girls don’t carry anything so they don’t need a pocket but I do. So these jeans measure up to what they say. They fit as expected, larger pockets (yeah!) And even though the material is still thinner, it is not as bad as some I have seen. Plus these fit around the waist not the panty line!

I really do love these jeans!!! They are in fact a true Wrangler branded item.I would like to take the time to clear up some confusion on the sizing and color’s.If you look at wrangler’s website it is not real clear as to the fit or each. So I am going to do my best to set it straight for you.There are 3 types of ‘As real as Wrangler’1. WCW82 / WCA82 (on the tag) Offered in only one color Whispering River. They are a slightly lighter denim. If you are semi-curvy or curvy you may consider this jean. I have thick legs and a smaller waste, usually wear a 16 and able to wear a 14. Length-it is long I usually wear a 36, a 34 is plenty long enough and almost to long because of the flared bottom. The leg fit is WONDERFUL and holds a starched seam beautifully for many washings!!!!!!!2. WRW83 is offered in one color Riversound. A slightly heavier denim than 1. Slimmer leg, seat without the flare leg. Not so relaxed for us larger lower halfed women.3. WCW84 is offered in 3 colors: CW Denim, HT Wash, MG Denim. The heaviest denim of all three choices. These fit nicely through the seat and thigh and have a flare at the boot (if you wear a 36 try a 34 and so on). Truer to waist size, it does have a little bit of give. I have a size 16 with a bit of the dreaded belly bulge however with the bit of spandex in them an hour after wear it won’t be as bad. These would be a nice riding jean as they hug the thigh a bit.This line of jeans are a slightly lighter denim than the amazing Aura Jean that most of us are familiar with.Any of us that a true Wrangler wearers know that they do not just make one simple jean. They try to accommodate everyone in the industry. We have moved a very long way since the standard MWZ days. With a little bit of homework you can find the right jean for you and I hope this review helps and clears up any confusion.It would be helpful for Amazon to include in the description of what exactly is labeled on the Jean tag ie MWZ…, WCW…, WU…, and give an in depth descripton of them. Such as the Aura Jeans-Low rise, regular rise or tall rise. Short Length 30, Regular length 32, Long 34 and xtra long 36 and so on.Hope this helps…ride on ladies, and hopefully with an amazing pair of work jeans!!!
